A number of accounts have been banned for being sock puppets, and their votes have been excluded from the tally.
Do not create multiple accounts without express permission from SV administration. Going ahead and creating a sock puppet account anyway will get you infracted in the first instance and typically perma-banned in the second. Using your sockpuppet to vote stuff also gets a substantial aggravating penalty applied to your infraction and a permanent ban from whatever thread you were trying to influence. Do not do this. It is not subtle, especially when a large vote is involved.
Now for everyone who still has access to the thread, relax, move on, try to enjoy the discussion instead of getting worked up to the point of desperate cheating. The quest will still be fun whichever direction the vote takes you and it would be a shame to lose access through bad behaviour.
