Exchanges of gifts is common in courtship, particularly among the upper classes, but there's no widespread tradition of wedding rings. The closest equivalent is some piece of fragile crockery is gifted to the newlywed couple, and there's a lot of superstitions tied into the fate of said crockery. In a lot of the Empire, if it's shattered either deliberately or by accident, that alone can be considered sufficient grounds for divorce.
So what you're saying is we need to get a 25-favor pot runed to never, ever break. :V

More realistically, we could probably get her a big bad gift when we're actually married and have completely locked in the ship. Maybe a necklace or belt of her own, something to help with her job.

That is such an umgi thing. Hopefully Belegar gives Mathilde and Panoramia a more durable variant.
It's fragility is the entire point of it's existence.

I assume that a gromril pot would signal either supremely optimistic newlyweds, or to cover up how one side in the marriage is not actually 100% consensual (and that the other side see the views of others as something of import).

You know, I do wonder if Kragg might outright adopt us should we succeed in recovering Karag Vlag. Especially if we manage to get Dum in the bargain as well. What was that thing Boney said about single-handedly rescuing lost Karaks again? :V

There are always greater daemons.

Also, Daemon Princes. There's also a few mortal Chaos followers that would be a challenge for him, like a Slaaneshi Shaggoth or a Chaos Dragon.

Which is actually something the plan to clog the Waystone doesn't seem to have considered yet. There's a good chance that Slaanesh has a sizeable warband of mortal followers in Vlag, doing Chaos things like fighting for glory and a chance to advance in their lords favour. Chaos Warriors and the like. Those won't dissipate when we drop the Karak out of the Warp.

No, but they will know the best way to earn their lord's favor is to charge at us and turn the power back on. These are Slaanesh's servants, not Nurgle's, their rpide will drive them to win not just fort up in the moountain.

And even if these Slaneeshi nasties do fort up, we still win since the Karak will still have been returned to the material world.

No the chance is really unlikely. It is in the wrap. Mortals that stay in wrap for prolonged periods die or stop being mortals really quickly. It's not like they have anti-chaos runes to protect them.

Ouch. Those were not good rolls. Thankfully the opponent also rolled low, leading to this weird slapfight between our scouts and the door guards where I was expecting sudden annihilation of some sort.
Of course in this case "door guards" meant "superhumanly killy daemonettes + temptation magic" and "scouts" meant "elites + Lady Magister", but that's what you get when the stakes are this high.

In the guards defence they were sallying out to destroy a grey wizard, famed masters of subtlety and intrigue. I don't think they expected her to whip out a two-handed runeblade and go ham.

Chaos Warriors are defined by their pilgrimmage into the deepest parts of the Chaos Wastes. Even in there, their Hell-Plate keeps them nourished and full of vigour at all times. I think they even occasionally move past the Polar Gates and into the Realm of Chaos, but I don't have a quote for this.
