It's been about 24 hours and no clear winner. The top two have 6 votes difference which I have seen in the past change in minutes. I like both plans but I am pulling for Plan Ithilmar, Enchantment and Exploration because it gets more done and helps set up serviscope to drop in a gigaflex next turn with hopefully the waystone, snake blood book, and anything else we can do.
 
My main issue with Ilthimar, enchantment and exploration is that the Johann exploration action is much worse than the nut and arcane mark.

I disagree strongly; I think all three of those actions are great ones and we should do them soon. Ideally, whichever doesn't happen this turn happens next turn.

To be clear, I love both leading plans and will be happy whichever wins, but right now the Waystone Project is kicking into an extra level of political gear because holy shit the insane stretch goal nobody really expected us to hit four years ago is within reach right fucking now. There's a multilateral international treaty about it! We've landed in... well, it wasn't hot water, House Tindomiel didn't screw us, but we definitely gave concessions that we didn't need to because we didn't understand the political landscape well enough. Getting the last skillup for Advanced Eonir Diplomacy is important, and the sooner the better, so that we can understand the Eonir as well as we understand dwarves and can navigate that culture without being mousetrapped. As the Asur demonstrated this past turn, we don't always get to choose the timeline of having to handle high-level negotiations. So that's one of the reasons I slightly prefer DP's plan.

Voting for this because I'm confused as to what the goal of having Eike there while we hire language tutors even is. We've been told she won't learn a language, and watching organizational management seems likes it's not nearly worth diluting her other actions at best, and like something she'd have seen already with her grandmother at worst.

I was thinking more "six month training assignment" than "combat test that's secretly a test of friendship teamwork", but sure, we could do that instead. Though I'm not sure where we'll find a couple of traumatized teenage ninjas to pair Eike with...

You're saying Eike studied in a wizard school that decides your future life according to your not yet fully formed personality and never made friends with two other people to make up an iconic trio of disparate tweenagers that don't really have that much in common with each other?

honestly the only reason I don't like plan Plan Ithilmar, Enchantment and Exploration Language Edition is cause of wind herding and putting eike on it
 
What's the issue? We had her on our earlier Seviriscope action and she got an awesome trait out of it.
As well as her nobility experience giving us the idea for the final product, and doing the boring legwork to figure out the materials for it.

At this point she's part of the sevirscope team. Leaving her out of part two would feel wrong to me.

That's not quite the case. It won't be extra AP-efficient in that she's not going to just pick up 3 languages from nothing, but it's not 'she won't learn languages at all' either, assuming the workload isn't too heavy.
@Boney: There appears to be some controversy over what assigning Eike to the KAU language action would involve due to differing interpretations of how Eike tagalong works. If this happens, will Eike get any language study out of it (with the understanding that obviously this isn't as efficient/effective as a dedicated language study action), or will she purely be part of the administrative side?
Depends on her workload. If she's doing plenty of other things she's doing then she'll just see the administrative side. If she's relatively light on tasks, she'll audit a lesson or two.

Ah, alright. I guess I was confusing that with Mathilde not learning a language from it. Though with two other tasks plus lessons, the plan feels like it's closer to her not having time for lessons than having it.

Well, Eshin friend is probably not *that* old given skaven age ranges and is a skaven so traumatized by definition. Not sure who we'd get to be number 3 though.

Last time we windherded we fucked up badly, how exactly is she expected to contribute in higher level spellcasting of two lord magisters.

Or get anything out of it, if she is not contributing directly? I am rather reminded of the time when Algard was talking shop with Kragg and Mathilde´s general impression of it was "i need about 20 years more of education to even understand what the fuck i don´t understand about what they are talking about".
