Well yeah, but if we were able to take it then it stands to reason that other Greys could and it is therefore 'lore of the Grey College', albeit of the sort that is shared with all the others.
There are probably more lore fragments the Grey college could have had, if they had managed to completely recruit the hedgewise magical tradition.

Got rid of the Skaven tech and added the gun curious elf. I still do not care that much for him personally but @Alratan makes a good point about being a good opener for talking to other elves.

[X] Egrimm, to try to sound out more information about the Alric situation.

Because Laurelorn is new and fascinating.

[] Belegar, to discuss who has been made Loremaster after you.
Because the Karaz Ankor in general and K8P remain of great interest.

[] The Karak Azul Architects, to get involved in the design of your Library in detail.
Because we took the job and should pay at least some attention to it.

[X] Middenland, to see how the Ulricans are going with their new Eonir coreligionists.
Because Laurelorn related.

@Boney , a question. Can we use a Web-Mat action next turn to diplomance and make an order join? I'm asking about sending Egrimm to bring the Lights on board

The same is true of the Jades to some extent. The druids apparently fractured when Teclis came to them, and the ones who stayed hidden in the deep forests may well have knowledge that those who changed their practices and became part of the Jade College didn't.

A lot more Druids and more of them as an institution rather than individuals made the transition, as it does seem that the Hedgewise groups rejected Teclis' offer although some of their members may have joined the Grey College, they seem to have done so as individuals rather than as parts of institutions.

While 'druid does drugs' isn't unexpected, we haven't seem much of that side of Pan.
To be fair, Pan made drugs. That doesn't mean she does them.

They're also talked about in the 5th edition Lizardmen book.

But yeah, apart from that Amazons were only really a thing back in the first three editions, when they were more explicitly using literal weapons from 40K.
Actually AFAICT they only appear in 2nd edition. Which ironically predates 40K entirely, so technically everyone else pinched the Amazon's weapons. They also reproduce parthenogenically in that book, which is an unusual take on an all-female society.

So I was glancing at the front page to see how much favor we have and I noticed something interesting... Prince Asarnil is on the list of authors for the Dum paper, the same one that is going to be read in the House of Runelords. If dwarfs were not... dwarfs I might suspect them of leaving out that name when they address the matter, but I do not think Thorek will. He is going to walk into the company of his peers and use documentation taken in (small) part from the accounts of an elf and try to use it as a foundation for a call to reform.

Oh to be a fly on the wall in that hall...

For those following along at home, here is the Shared Credit on our new paper:
Karag Dum: the Third Schism of the Karaz Ankor, including Observations on the Shadowgave, by L.M. Mathilde Weber (Grey), Thane Borek Forkbeard (Karag Dum), Prince Asarnil (Caledor), L.M.(E). Ljiljana (H.L.V.), Head Ranger Snorri Farstrider (Karak Kadrin), Head Engineer Gotrek Gurnisson (S·T·T·L), Preceptor Joerg von Zavstra (K. Taal's Fury), Sir Ruprecht Wulfhart the Younger (Ulrikadrin), M. Egrimm van Horstmann (Light), M. Esber (Amber) & M. Seija (Amber), M. Johann (Gold), M. Maximilian de Gaynesford (Gold), M. Michel Solmann (Jade), J. Alexandra Kohler (Bright), J. Barbitus (Light), J. Citharus (Light), J. Cyrston von Danling (Jade), J. Timpania (Light), 2487.
Basically: were they a named character on the Expedition? They get a cowriting credit. I think the only one who didn't is Deathfang. Ljiljana's LM(E) I am pretty sure stands for Lady Magister (Equivalent), and it adds to the political fraughtness of the paper that we are listing Borek as our second author.

An additional question, Boney: last update, the furnishing of the Waystone project was in our Unfinished Business, but this update it was not; did you decide that it just wasn't worth onscreen text, or that it could fall in a different part of the turn, or something else?

(Also, I think you missed this typo catch from my last post:
Typo: planned to right -> planned to write
)

Theatre itself is thought to have its earliest origins in improvisations during odes to Dionysus, who was very likely the inspiration for Loec - a nice friendly party facet, with savagery and violence beneath.

(one theoretical etymology of 'tragedy', the earliest theatre genre, is 'tragaoidia', meaning 'goat-song', because Dionysian choruses would compete to win a goat, someone mixed up the traditional odes with improvisation to get an edge in this competition)
Real Life's lore is weird.

I do wonder how many of those names will find that they'd rather Mathilde had left them out of the credits. There are some obvious ones that wouldn't give a flying fuck, such as Asarnil, Borek, and Ljiljana, but others may not be able to do that.

I think the only one who didn't is Deathfang.

Mathilde chickened out of trying to figure out the proper accreditation. Is he (Caledor) or (Ulthuan) or (Dragon) or (Star Dragon) or (Draconic Orthodoxy) or unaffiliated? It seems like there isn't an answer that wouldn't offend someone.

Ljiljana's LM(E) I am pretty sure stands for Lady Magister (Equivalent)

It does.

It was mentioned as a pretext during Mathilde's attempts to get to know Tor Lithanel better, but I left it in in case I came up with an interesting idea for the rest of the process. It will probably get a few more mentions during future events in Tor Lithanel.
