He won't be building a house until he's ready to take a wife or yall kick him out, though.

Gunnar's Clan (specifically Liv) could also link up Gunnar and Valo's plots of land by grabbing 2C if they have a mind to, that'd be Liv's choice if we're sticking to one per person. EDIT: Assuming you're willing to dispute a claim anyway.

Here is my character:
Character Name: Sigmund Sigurdsson
PT Expenditure: 3 towards Level 2 Tyr Blood,
Appearance: A young Norseman at eighteen, Sigmund is a tall man, limited only by his lack of Giant's Blood. With a head of fiery red hair, sharp green eyes and carefully kept beard, Sigmund has a muscular figure with broad shoulders and a square jawline that lean to an imposing or heroic appearance depending on whether you are a friend or foe to him.
Personality: Sigmund is a friendly and jovial figure who likes to help others and has a strong sense of justice even as he is uncertain of his place in the world now that Gotland and all he has known is gone. Sigmund had originally intended to be a smith before recent events rendered that an effective impossibility. He loves his wife and children and in the absence of being a smith, Sigmund finds something in his blood calling him towards a path of heroics and justice.
In Combat: Sigmund doesn't have a combat style of his own or any kunna to call upon at the moment. Because of this, he relies on a mixture of the basics to carry him to victory. He hopes to change this in the future by learning a martial style to use against his foes or developing kunna to wield in battle.
Family: With both of his parents dying in Gotland, Sigmund has only his wife Torunn and their infant son Sigurd in his immediate family. He values both of them greatly with Torunn being his childhood sweetheart, who he married almost as soon as he came of age. Sigmund was drawn to Torunn for her caring nature and upbeat personality though her good looks certainly didn't hurt. He is related to Ragnarr Fair-Spoken, Kare Sky-Dancer and Njall Redaxe by being the son of a third sibling to Ragnarr's mother.
OOC Notes: I wasn't really sure what kunna to go for or if I wanted a bloodline or martial style so I decided to start with the basic boons from Norsequest when I saw other people had gone for Giant's Blood and Seeing Eyes. I also decided to incorporate my indecisiveness and uncertainty in Sigmund's character as someone who was born with potential, but doesn't know which direction to take it in.
Edit: Currently coming up with a replacement for Godly Luck as I've been informed it is banned.
Edit 2: After some discussion on Discord, I'm going with less of a generalist build and going all in on a relation to Tyr because that sounds pretty darn awesome with the intent of developing Sigmund into a heroic warrior and adventurer later on.

That's interesting. So despite superficially seeming like a tropical rainforest, we have freezing rain in winter and ice forming on trees. Most tropical plants aren't really adapted to handle a hard freeze, so I have to wonder about what things are like.
The flakes of ash suggest a forest fire or something similar, too- or maybe a volcanic eruption. Though I'd think we'd be able to tell if this was wood ash or volcanic ash.
Also, crap. Land claims. A dibs situation. As someone with a job who lives on the Eastern Seaboard, I didn't find out about this until five hours after it had started.
Lemme see if I can keep track of who's claimed what. It's been several hours already so that feels tricky. Red is conflicting claims (I think). Orange is definitely claimed. Yellow is, I think, claimed. As of this writing...

You could call it something like Wyrd which means Fate or Personal Destiny.
