I'd like to to take a second to appreciate Astmundur's cleaning skills.
Wrong name here, I think, Astmundur was the guy who kept hitting on us. Modgudr is our cousin with the mad cleaning skills.

Hopefully there wasn't some time dilation going on here. Because time dilation totally happens.Other than that, it's smooth sailing for a few hours before you come to a stop in the place that Aki's soul is supposed to rest — guided there by an enchanted tail feather, of course.
An adult soul is head-sized, huh?Hundreds of head-sized lights glow deep beneath the light waves, the blurred signs of souls waiting for reawakening.
Souls glow red? You're not sure why or how exactly you know that this soul belongs to Aki, but any lingering doubt is banished the moment your fingers make contact with the quickly hardening surface. Aki's soul easily fits in your palm, which makes sense given his young age. But even as underdeveloped as it is, it still manages to bathe your surroundings in red.
That was a long fishing trip if even an Einheri is yawning.
That's.. suspicious. Especially with a hefty - 7 on our Sailing check. And an Einheri around.Which, fortunately, takes no time at all!
...Actually, now that you think about it, travelling to Aki felt like it took three or even four times as long as returning...
Modgudr had to kill someone while we were off fishing. With careful strokes, Modgudr works with surprising efficiency as she sweeps the piles of brown, ash-like particles off the bridge and into the Gjoll. She doesn't look up, but she's already aware of your presence. She's a Goddess, by Odin's empty eye socket! How could she not?
The first true step on the Path of the Shipper is crafting your Goggles from your own internal Musou.Does... Does this mean when the internet became available to the wider public the many fan clubs and such created a million new cultivation styles
Modgudr had to kill someone while we were off fishing.
Who, I wonder?
Or the River decided that getting to Aki needs to be a little more challenging* and made it harder* to get there. (But not more challenging enough to throw monsters at us**)Hopefully there wasn't some time dilation going on here. Because time dilation totally happens.

Did Astmundur keep talking on the way back, or did he shut up? Presumably the latter, because it's actually dangerous after the monsters are alert for Halla.
I highly doubt it. She shoved That Asshole on us after like 2 questions.Could we ask Modgudr if she would be so kind as to help us train if we ever returned to Ginnungagap?
Does that really make sense?Could we ask Modgudr if she would be so kind as to help us train if we ever returned to Ginnungagap?
Even if not, it's an excuse to gather some friends and come back, if only to tell them about Odr and stuff.
Technically it was like 5 to 6 questionsI highly doubt it. She shoved That Asshole on us after like 2 questions.
Oh my god it's perfect. A Reward Dice for you!
Vinland Saga is pretty good. It's actually a minor inspiration for this quest. I was watching the characters do crazy things like throw logs and leap around ships and cut masts in half and that planted the kernel that would eventually grow into this.No one ever expects Viking ships on land. Also man, this quest alone is making me actually want to check out Vinland Saga.
More canon then they're not, at least when it comes to poetry. Omakes are a bit more strignint, but stuff like Love has no Words! by Artemis is absolutely 100% canon
I just thought that, while she doesn't like talking, she could enjoy some fighting.
(Insert standard fighting manga scene where the challenge jist scene cuts to the challenges peace KO'ed on the ground.)I mean, she says she enjoys her privacy, so she probably wouldn't enjoy tutoring someone. While she may or may not enjoy fighting, I doubt that'll translate to training us... she wouldn't be able to 'fight' us at all, given the giant gulf in our abilities.
By the way, you've made it pretty clear that there won't be anyone or anything capable of destroying the Earth, Imperial, but how high is the power ceiling? Can we expect people near the peak to be able to flatten mountains?
I suppose the Gods are the most powerful begins in the setting? So we should take their feats as the power ceiling.
I feel like that would be mighty nid. Also the guardian would try to stop us?
Probably not too many. But it's not as big of a deal as you might think given that everyone claims descent from some important figure or group.
I would say yes, you could destroy someone's soul if you managed to get your hands on it from the Gjoll. Now, there's no guarantee that such a thing would properly kill someone, as the Nornir are the ones that determine when someone truly dies.Is it possible to destroy someone's soul if you manage to get your hands on it from the Gjoll? I'm assuming it'd lead to True Death.
'clan' is just the word used to describe everyone who shares the same great-grandfather.
Personally, I remain unconvinced.
The Meinvaldfjord (which is the fjord that separates Asvir from Jurgdby) was created as a result of cultivators battling. Top tier cultivators going at it with other top tier cultivators often does result in sweeping changes to the landscape.By the way, you've made it pretty clear that there won't be anyone or anything capable of destroying the Earth, Imperial, but how high is the power ceiling? Can we expect people near the peak to be able to flatten mountains?
It absolutely is, textbook example at that. A drengr would wait for his foe to wake up and give him time to parlay, a nidingr would attack without care for fair play.I don't believe attacking a defenceless person - such as someone sleeping - is nid, but I'm not 100% on that.
Personally, I remain unconvinced.
You have this group of people that are completely obsessed with gaining and defending respect at all costs, yet they apparently hold insult competitions at weddings? You know, the thing that is meant to bind two families together in an alliance? Why would you want to risk jeopardizing that?
I'm certain that flytings happened as a method of settling disputes, but I am doubtful towards recreational instances.
