A point in the favor for simplifying animals, IF has previously (this might have been changed) mentioned that certain Gods like certain sacrifice animals more.
So, you need to have various amounts of animals based on which makes for the best sacrifice?

IF did mention that quality matters a lot more than quantity for sacrifices.

We totally should have sacrificed that Superior Cow, man. Maybe we could have gotten 1 or 2 extra Hamingja. :|

We'd already maxed out Hamingja sacrifices that year...I don't think double dipping on Hamingja gains was in the cards. We might've gotten something cool, but not that.

...You know.

Odr can only be infused into something as you create it. Based on our experimentation. Odr infusion into things awakens their spirit.

Logically, Odr infusion into our children should result in them getting Orthsirr even as a newborn child..

...Hmm. I feel like this ties into how Charred Soul and Orthsirr run on the same sacrifice mechanism.
There are 4 requirements to ascend from Saga Establishment
Interesting. And I guess ascending without fulfilling those requirements is going to wreck you.

Huh. Okay. So, we have plant life, that's definitely one of them. We need to build a house and probably clear the fields (ie: get it set up as an actual farm)...maybe accumulate a certain amount of Odr as well?

It's lacking Spirituality, but that sort of happens on it's own to a well tended farm apparently.

So, clear the fields, plant the crops, prepare for harvest, rinse and repeat in a virtuous cycle as everything else follows from there. As Without, so Within, if you will.

We also know that apparently there's a "Plant a Seed" requirement in there too, though that's probably the last step to advance (We were told 'Daughter of Ash' was one that we had access to for instance, which suggests to me that it's a Deed or Legacy based thing going on).

I think raising our Farming and Design skills just became a priority.

Something like that, yeah.

My guess would be that doing that is what pushes you to the next Realm...so maybe not a requirement per se? Or maybe it is a requirement but we need the fields cleared and a plot prepared to do it so that and field clearing are one step? Yeah, that second one seems plausible.

I think raising our Farming and Design skills just became a priority.

Getting Design to, like, 2 is definitely necessary at the very least. I'll add it to the plan starting next turn.

I think what actually happens is that you can technically succeed in breaking through as long as you have enough spirituality, but failing to establish a virtuous cycle and a truly cultivated environment in your soul before you push forward is going to cripple you down the line. Certainly, it'll be a huge pain in the ass to clear the fields and build your estate if you didn't prepare the ground properly and then escalated everything to a new realm.

There's probably also a certain amount of "The more work you put in in earlier steps, the more it pays out down the line" going on too. There's probably serious diminishing returns on further Improving your Estate, but the more developed it is before you pull the trigger, the more benefits you get when you do.

Well, whatever we intend to do with our soulscape, we should test it out in reality first.

Let's see..

Requirements could be:

1. Estate
2. Seed
3. ??? (Enough Odr? 81 Odr??)
4. ???

Obviously one of the big issues is what triggers the ascension.

Perhaps. Where do Nisse live? Like do they maintain physical homes or do sort of reside spiritually most of the time? Just a weird idea if they take an immaterial form we might be able to use shenanigans to transfer one to our soulscape. Also maybe we should try swallowing an intact egg.

Hmm.. can Halla estimate the 'capacity' of her well for Odr?

Also, did Halla recognize what kind grasses and flowers she had 'initially' when she broke through into Saga Establishment?

...Are there any kinds of animals, insects, or anything at all that isn't a plant in Halla's Soulscape? Bees.. anything?

Does Halla's place have one?

And do y'all think infusing its oatmeal with odr is a good idea?

Edit: Just remembered Halla's place is a smoking crater. Shelving this idea for later.
