I'm thinking that we probably want to not take any thralls here. WE're not done raiding (which means that keeping heat low is good) and there's not but so much space ont eh boats (which means that this is probably a bit early to be grabbing thralls).

Pillage for everything of value, because Loot Is Good, but we don't have to be assholes about it, and destroying their shelter as we head into winter is an asshole move.

No real opinion on the loot bonus.

Fight For Your Life is a 1/combat bonus of +5 dice. (did we even use that this time?) I'm inclined to go for Punching Up.

[X] Plan: Put our Faith in the Nornir and they will provide
-[x] Muna: Fighting Father Gerrit (Provides Twist: Punching Up)
-[x] (Population) Let them go (Reduces Heat)
-[x] (Buildings) Pillage for everything of value
-[x] (Loot) Leave it up to the Nornir

Also... yep. I think we picked the correct target threat level for this year's raid. We probably want to stay in more or less the same spot. Also, hey - we learned some useful stuff about how to properly fight priests. That's cool.

Curious about whatever a twist is.

--[X] (Optional) Only take those of use while letting the rest go

May as well. I don't wanna make the ones we leave behind homeless tho

-[X] (Loot) The Church

Decent chance of finding something magic

Basically, whether we take Thralls or not depends on if we're going for another fight or if we're calling it a day with a single raid.

I think we're in good enough shape for another fight though.

I want to see what Twists do, apparently Father Gerrit definitely counted as being out of our weight class though, who we beat because he was too over-specialized and we had the right tools to counter him and a very good strategy to use them.

And we've got a lot of Hamingja, let's put our faith in the Nornir to see what shinies can be found.

If we're going for another fight though (And given the fact our group is only lightly wounded at most, I think we're good for another throwdown), better to minimize our Heat.

Oh thank Wotan that worked.

Time to find out about Twists!

Insert memes about SV's morality but I'd rather not go too feelsbad here.
If there's anything interesting here we have Gabriel and Jerasmus. Plus we killed the priest.

Remember, please vote by plan for the sake of my sanity if nothing else!
Just noticed this and changed mine to a plan vote.

Is there like, a procedure in universe when you leave things up to the Nornir? If its an actual Hamingja roll, sure, but otherwise I would be inclined to loot the Church. Given what the priests are like it's 100% that it's got good shit innit.

This sounds right, yeah.

I'm also fine with less Heat, though...and not looting quite everything:

[X] Plan Punching Up and Laying Low

We did not. I completely forgot. It likely would've normalized the Knee-Groin-Trick at 11d6 with the other two 'big moves' if I'd remembered.

Upgrading does have the advantage of not using a new Capacity slot, so that should be kept in mind...but Twists sound interesting, so I'm in for that.

Still, yeah, two questions.

@Imperial Fister

How much is an ounce of Gold worth here? I notice we got one as part of our Money Train.

And also, now that we've got a moment's peace and a chance to chat with the rest of the gang, how strong is "Fifth Decade-Sixth Bead" supposed to be? It seems like it's pretty strong but I don't know.

Anyway, further thoughts though, but it seems Knee-Groin Trick is really good at countering Focus. For obvious reasons. Splicing that in as our "Free shot" is what let us cascade that into a kill-combo rather than him tanking it with his Focus and then fucking off when Standstill fell off.

If no one wants to take thralls, then

Do you have a strong reason to want to get our extra loot share from the church, rather than letting it be random? We have people here that might be convinced by arguments of sufficient quality, but I (at least) am not seeing them.

The Church has to have at least one strong magic item. We could dissect it and see if we can figure out how English Runes work.

And also, now that we've got a moment's peace and a chance to chat with the rest of the gang, how strong is "Fourth Decade-Sixth Bead" supposed to be? It seems like it's pretty strong but I don't know.

He was fifth decade, not fourth. If I'm right about this equating to Fervor Pool, that'd be 46 because the First Decade would be a pool of 1-9, but that's a host of assumptions and I admit it.

Sadly, it's not English...or indeed any language we speak. We'd need to learn a whole new language and bringing it back seems likely to go poorly with Jerasmus in particular.

I think decade is really just how old they are.

Really working on getting the Priestslayer Boon huh.
