I'd feel bad about using Odr on recruitment. It's not mind control, but it may be too close for comfort when used to persuade people into serving you. Skavidr I could be convinced to add some, potentially.
I think for Skavidr we should shove in the maximum of Odr on each part of our totally-not-an-interrogation. Knowledge is power.

I just realised that Jotun Skin-Splitter is like half the good part of Tyrfing, and it in has no curse to go along with it

We don't actually know what Tyrfing does do we?
Tyrfing is a fun little cursed sword that cuts stone and iron like cloth, can't miss, never rusts, and kills a man whenever you draw it. At least according to it's legend. Its also over in the Vestifold mess being wielded by a reasonable guy who rarely draws it, and Jotun Skin-Splitter would be probably similar to Tyrfing's cut everything ability.

I'd think that would be represented by ignoring DR and dealing a comical amount of damage although I'm certain there's more to it than that, maybe it also ignores armor.

I believe evidence suggests that Reidar Swordfury may have gotten ahold of Tyrfing, actually. So...we may have some issues with that at some point.

Hey Halla,

Does it ever feel weird thinking of your friend Stigr or your Huscarl Stigmar as your Brother-in-laws through Eric's marriage to Stigrun?

[X] Sagaseeker Upgrade: Jotun-Skin-Splitter

[X] Plan And Back Home

That fight was really quick, maybe we should offer to heal the guy? You know, so we can still be friends after.

Jotun-Skin-Splitter allows Sagaseeker to punch through certain arbitrary 'you have to be this tall to ride' defenses, like Jotun skin and Rebuke.
Jotun-Shapeshifting allows Sagaseeker to have significantly more freedom in his shapeshifting, including going beyond the shape of a weapon.
Jotun-Strike makes Sagaseeker deal significantly more damage to those of Jotnar descent, like giants, dwarves, and other myriad creatures and peoples.

This are all really interesting options, its and hard choice for me.

But a weapon that can hurt Jotun and generaly strike above its weight class seems really cool to me.

Also, dwarfs are related to Jotun?

It appears not to have been an option as Halla was upset. We didn't cripple him or anything, so he'll probably be fine.

Also, dwarfs are related to Jotun?

Sort of? They're descended from the maggots that grew in Ymir's corpse, so there's definitely a mystical connection there.

I mean even after Logi levied a long list of insults against Steinarr, he still offered his hand to Logi after handing his ass to him in a spar. I imagine Halla would have done at least that, then stitched wounds him.

If we the thread get a say in it I think we probably do heal him, I just dunno if we do. And Logi didn't actually insult Steinarr, just imply he was more badass. Different thing.
