Is that cold clay lined box the Rot hugreida guy used for the fenriskin heart hard to make?
My suspicion is that worked based on his hugareida rather than an item...he kept it from Rotting.

Huh. Just thought of an additional question: @Imperial Fister what about our Slavic Nobles? Are we dropping them off during this leg of things? That probably warrants a scene of some sort, and would make sense as one of the places we stay the night...
Well. We always knew that Christian Cultivation was not the same as Norse Cultivation.
I kinda want to hang out with Kettil Farcaster, he seems cool. IDK if we have him on the ship.
Also, from the destination being locked in, I take it we're heading to Hedeby and then back home, and not going back to Skane or Bornholm?
Nice! Have a Reward Dice
I'll say you get 50 whalebones and as much food as it would require to feed your family—and household—for the winter.Oh, right, I forgot to ask: @Imperial Fister how much of this goes to us as opposed to the crew? I have to imagine we don't get all of the food, at the very least.
It is not hard, but it does rely on his understanding of rot to work betterIs that cold clay lined box the Rot hugreida guy used for the fenriskin heart hard to make?

Summer 11 is already 62k words long, I will cry if I have to do more than is necessaryAlso, from the destination being locked in, I take it we're heading to Hedeby and then back home, and not going back to Skane or Bornholm?
That was my impression. But we're already a bit later returning with Johannes stuff than would be ideal, so it's technically possible we just have to go there first.
Like, if perfecting them lets us spring them our more often without draining ourselves its probably worth it. This brings it from the finale level of cost to 'expensive for sure but doable and missing isnt the end of the world". Its probably not urgent though.Yeah, I'm not sure Perfecting them is worth it then. It's very expensive to reduce the cost by 40-50 Orthstirr per usage...which sounds like a lot, but leaves them by far our priciest Tricks and only used occasionally.
If we're gonna Perfect something fiery and big damage, I'd be more inclined to Sparkbomb. Being able to do the Sparkbomb Mine Field for free would be pretty cool. But really, I think we hold off on Perfecting anything for a minute while we get Fylgja to 10.

Perfecting also has other benefits we might want. Being impossible to counter by higher Hugareida is great for our big damage for big fights thing.
Btw can we work on an actual banish the night+mind eye blinks alloy? It might be really useful
Yeah but thats a thermic reckoning alloy. Its an illusion banish using an actual finale. Which is fine in battles like this where illusions are the main point, but when fighting a foe who uses illusions besides other stuff (ie Lidrun most likely) popping out a finale just to dispel illusions seems awfully expensive. We have it. The Rewrite let us do it instantly mid-combat, but that's all it did. It's a normal Alloy now. It's on the sheet
Think about it this way. If t the cost of 100 we can do one, at 50 we can do a second one if the first is countered. Which happens often enough to be worth it. It turns it from a terribly costly trick into an expensive trick, but not much more then, saw, threadcutter. Meaning its easier to integrate into our strategy and is less disasterous if it missesI mean, we're talking dropping Sunfire Spear from 100 Orthstirr a pop to 50 Orthstirr a pop. That's not cheap enough to spam it, so I'm not sure it expands the use cases all that much? We can think about it, certainly.

Look, if IF didn't want us using the hyberbolic boat trip, he shouldn't have allowed cultivating on a boat .
Hundreds of years, probably.Damn, hundreds of years since he's been home? Just how long can Christian cultivators live?

Ask a christian cultivatior and they'll probably say "As long as God has need of me".Damn, hundreds of years since he's been home? Just how long can Christian cultivators live?
