Well, that was fairly dickish.

(not the post directly above mine, the one before it)

Anyway.

Progress is as progress does. I'll admit I'm not great at greebles (that is, the little raised bits that are used for detail work). That aside, I've started adding details, added two more projectors to hit the four that Snark mentioned in the update, and added in secondary/tertiary weapons. Still messing around with the placement and number of the light/anti-fighter weapons. I did give her twelve concussion missile launchers though. Those are relatively low-power-requirement weapons (and the smaller Victory-I carries 80 of the bloody things).

Hopefully I'll have her in a state I consider 'finished' by the time the actual relevant updates show up :p

Why not put some of the secondaries on the bottom of the "upper" level edge? You have all of them simply on the top of the "lower." I just think it would look a bit nicer and more symmetrical.

For something else, the top and bottom look a bit too- erm- clean? Too white with too few nubs. Maybe that's your next step, I don't know.

Good job, nonetheless! It's awesome.

Ah, fair points. I'll say that it would add a decent amount of trade income that will be edited in, though don't forget that there is a difference between a Bulk Freighter and a damned Lucrehulk. Namely that one of those ships can very easily double as an incredibly tough capital ship.

(Seriously, I still can't believe that a ship design that big and with that many guns started its life as a freighter. I think that says volumes about H-K's business sense right there in all sincerity.)

("Hey, why don't we create this titanic frame and slap enough guns on it so that it could take on entire pirate fleets and win, and market it as a freighter? I mean, what other applications could it have?")
Actually, vanilla Lucrehulks don't have any guns, and their shields are just those of a freighter. The freighter at Naboo was modified by the TF for the invasion. I'd also like to point out that the reason we took the action was not trade income but rather for a controlling interest in the shipyard where H-K builds their ships. given that, this really doesn't feel like a full success.

Adding in a bit more details will be the biggest next step. And I am planning on putting secondaries up there, I'm just still working out exactly how many I want. :p

I have no idea how this entire section was allowed to be canon. Nobody noticed he was this fucked in the head that after one little thing here he goes completely Dr. Edgy Mc Emo edgelord extraordinaire. Somehow to spite the fact that they're constantly monitoring their force-users to make sure that they don't go off the deep end Darkside style nobody notices that he's 1 tearful argument way from killing the shit out of himself. Like I said this really shouldn't be canon

Wait, are you assuming Jedi are competent? Have you seen the current state of the galaxy?

Let's just keep it a surprise for now.
It's how she'll convince Obi Wan to join up.

"Hey, I need your help with something!"

"How could you possibly have gotten into a meditation chamber in the middle of the Temple without anyone noticing?"

"I made friends with the Disciples of Twilight and they taught me how to be invisible."

"... Yes, that is the final straw. All right, I surrender. What are we doing."

We, the Abyss Watchers, and our Force-using branch, have extensive psychological and emotional surveillance systems in place specifically because our methodology and techniques dip so closely to, and sometimes directly interact with, the Dark Side. Lancelot is saying that those systems failing to catch Ripath's clear emotional and mental instability is breaking suspension of disbelief.

He was isolated in a strange environment with none of his usual support structure and and placed under unexpected pressures. Someone made a bad call by sending him off to a be as spy, but that is understandable since he was not blatantly unstable then.

Me, I still maintain calling for it to be decanonized when Snark and Barondoctor spent months discussing that thing behind the scenes...is still a dick move.

No this guy is part of our group and we don't want our group members going full dark side and deciding to try to murder everybody else for ultimate power. Which is why our Force users are supposed to have their heads examined on a regular basis. Which is why I'm wondering how the fuck this suddenly suicide moment was able to take place without noticing how bug fuck crazy must have been.

He made that call, no one else. Didn't want to be in combat anymore so he decided to go play master spy and fuckup in minutes then try kill himself

Because he was on an extended covert mission (for which he was vastly unsuited) with no one to monitor his state of mind.

Better watch it - unless I've missed something, next time you'll be breaking the fourth wall. And do you really want to do that?

In the event that the fourth wall is broken I highly suggest that all of you start running as fast as you possibly can - Ciaran's already come dangerously close to breaking it in the past, and I can't begin to imagine the chaos she'd cause if she found a way to get beyond it.

He made repeated trips out if only for medical supplies. Beyond that it wasn't a high stress situation and when shit went south his reaction was basically 'opps I guess I'll kill myself'. For someone to have a reaction like that you'd have to be seriously fucked up in the head well before the mission went down.

Also how the fuck are the Watchers at fault for her missing limbs I don't remember direct action against any jedi. Are we the space butterfly that flapped our wings and despite ten degrees of separation it's still all our fault?

Heh.

On a completely different topic, @Dr. Snark, can we get an extra learning action by creating a research complex on Kiln as a base upgrade? Or at least some kind of bonus, but we really need more learning actions.
