I'm suggesting we replace Palpatine with Kin Robb, the Senator from Taris. End the war pretty quickly if we've got both sides and we don't want the war.

If I recall correctly the current plan is for Bail Organa to be Chancellor after dealing with Palpatine if Ciaran can keep the Republic from completely shattering, to have a genuinely good man to fight the non-useful to Ciaran corruption.

Depending on his competition it might be worthwhile for Ciaran to make a show of running for the Office to make sure confidence in democracy is maintained, the trick will be to lose with grace whilst inspiring faith in Bail.

To best maximise his use in fixing the structural problems in the Republic.

Once things are stabilised but before he can be a threat to Ciaran's own corruption he gets convinced to stand aside, go back to his family etc and then Ciaran shuffles in a pawn of hers to control.

No, we need someone more..pliable to run.

Jar-Jar is an excellent candidate and I will fight you IRL if you disagree :V

He's too busy going on hunting trips with Grievous to become Chancellor.
That makes him sound even better. Sounds like Dick Cheney.

Grevious: What the hell was that for? You shot me in the back?!?

Jar-Jar: What? Messa thought you wasa bird!

Grevious pulls out a Lightsaber and decapitates Jar-Jar..

The only Shiki I'm familiar with is Misaki, who animates her stuffed cat to attack in The World Ends With You.
We're talking about Shiki Ryougi who...how should I put this.

Her soul was broken, killing her internal twin mind brother, and how she can see lines on everything. If she cuts down the lines, it dies. This isn't limited to classically living things like people. She could use it on a spacial warping effect, or a hallway. Or a spell or something.

...

You know what, I'm just going to say it's Nasu bullshit.

For what its worth I didn't know Tohou had eyes of death.
I thought they meant garden of sinners because that's the one there's a worm fic about.

*blinks confusedly*
*blinks confusedly even more*

Let me get this straight: you'd heard of Kara no Kyoukai, a light novel series that had a relatively obscure anime adaptation a few years ago that - while good - wasn't really that well-known barring fairly hardcore Nasuverse fans. But you hadn't heard of Tsukihime, which was a visual novel that had a manga adaptation, a fighting game spinoff/sequel with its own manga adaptations, and had top billing alongside F/SN in Carnival Phantasm.

Okay.

That makes sense. o_O
