This quest gets away so often I have to question who's really in control.

The QM is supposed to master the Quest, but instead, the Quest mastered him.
Because she's not using the other half-dozen and leaving them lying around the lab would have been untidy. Perhaps saying "half a dozen spares" would have been clearer.Errrr... why in a box? What do you THINK she is rinding in around currently?
James Luceno said:The Jedi tried to cap the power of this shrine, but there's leakage. It's not just Sidious; it's the power of history, it's the residue of what's left of the dark side there.
For the Jedi delved too greedily and too deep...I'd like to raise a point, if we follow the readings of the TCW Season that never was, the Jedi might want to dig far down under the Temple. So many Jedi falling to Bulq could be explained by the Sith Shrine the ancient Jedi Order built their own over to contain the Dark Side energies and over the thousands of years they thought they succeeded... they were wrong:
I mean, yes and no. The Jedi succeeded as much as they failed. that kind of line is a big part of the reason I dislike the last Jedi, tbh (along with giving Luke an incredibly unsatisfying character arc)Now I'm remembering The Last Jedi....
"The history of the Jedi is a story of failure born of arrogance and hubris."

It also makes the point that war is really bad for Jedi in general.I wouldn't really say you need to bother with some mysterious Sith shrine as an explanation.
One of the made points made in KOTOR 2 was that given the long history of Jedi falling to the Dark Side. Over. And Over. And Over again.
That you reach a point where you kind of have to consider that the teachings of the Jedi themselves bear some responsibility.
Which is not really a surprise to people in this thread, given all the discussion there's been over this and related topics.
this is more of a personal pet peeve but why use '' for speaking when "" is more widely used for that? '' is more for thinking
Aww, Siri Tachi's going to be sad. Maybe she can work out a timeshare? :lol"That I may or may not be staying on Mandalore for the remainder of the war as a full-time Republic and Jedi ambassador - barring military duties for the GAR and so on as they become necessary, she'll understand that. To be clear right now I'm not entirely certain that will actually happen but it is not an unrealistic possibility."
Mind you, the X-Wing is kinda implied to be on the drawing board around this point.
I-com was told to more or less hand over the blueprints and the first limited production run when the Empire came to power.
The employees basically trashed everything involving the project and went underground, producing X-Wings in 'cottage workshops' in small amounts for the Rebels.
So it's more of a "How did you know about it?!" reaction.
Well, when she nearly died early on, Silas took over while she recovered. I'd assume he will be the one in command again if Ciaran somehow got killed.Huh.
I just realized, with Gene-modding Ciaran can make any kids she adopts (if she does that) her own.
While on the topic, what do we do if she dies? I mean, this is a faction quest, who replaces her. Or has Thrawn already got clones set up for her?
Well, it is obvious that Tarkin and Palpatine cannot process Ashoka for terrorism... But if they want they can put Ashoka on trial for breaking out of prison, because even if you are completely innocent of the crime you have been accused, it is illegal to escape detention."Thrawn. You've heard the news?"
"I have."
"Sorry to say, but it looks like you're not going to get a shot at Tarkin just yet."
Congratulations Anakin, you're a dad, was a dad, will be a dad?
Time travel/alternate timeline tenses are hard.
If this was a tv show this would be the part where a million star wars fans collectively lose their shit as one of the new characters for the show suddenly breaks canon over her knee.
I agree with the factions but have a different take on the percentiles. The correct tense you are looking for is "would be". It's future tense so it needs to be based on that but it's only a possibility not a certainty. So therefore you use would instead of will.
If this was a TV show, half to 2/3's of Star Wars fans would be broken in between wanting to tear the writers a new one because "how dare they insert this Mary Sue" who is taking main character status away from the actual main characters and seething over the creation of a new canon which destroys the old one. The rest would just be enjoying the ride.
