Ugh. Do we really have to start with this pretentious cryptic language just because we now consider the Force to be more than just a tool?
"A bottomless curse, a bottomless sea. Accepting of all that there is and can be."

Cryptic isn't merely within Star Wars, the Souls games are quite obtuse in wording as well, if not to a greater extent. Expecting everyone to avoid such flowery language is unreasonable in the extreme.

I actually kinda liked the prequels... well, I liked the first one and the other two had their high points.

I haven't seen them in a long time so it might just be nostalgia though. I need to find a working VCR before I can watch Episode One again, I don't want to buy it when I have a perfectly good version on VHS.

honestly i love cryptic wordings and prophecys and making a force sect is probly going to involve that a lot. and i love that, its fun.

I'm positively giddy at what we can do using the Mantle of the Force. So much fun to be had!

I am curious though, what happened to the Heart of the Guardian crystal? Would we locate that one if we paid a visit to theYavin system? Though going their concerns me because Exar-Kun's ghost is still around, though our Force Suppression could likely be enough to completely hide us from him since he has no physical body to see with.

Hope Jerec doesn't turn sith this time around.

Knowledge is Jerec's problem. He'll do anything for it. Always has, always will. It was not knowledge he found that turned him, it was the knowledge he couldn't. The frustration, the people getting in his way... What he found helped, but at it's core, what caused him to fall is that he wanted more. Always more.

Then he came back to the known galaxy to find a Republic which had fallen, a rising Empire and Jedi who had betrayed/been betrayed. He took the path of more knowledge, and joined the Empire.

If the Jedi are leaving, I suggest we send someone to loot the rest of the workshop. Even if all that is left is practically useless, it's still practicly useless stuff that was used by Revan. It would probably sell at decent prices to the right collector.

@Dr. Snark this is a good point. How many credits are we getting for this trip? On a related note, what would we have gotten on a regular success instead of a super-crit?

I'd like to suggest that we inform Jerec about the Clone Wars. In canon, he never found out about it until he ran into one of the Empire's Inquisitors.

You have to understand that the temple was open until 1000 years ago when Bane showed up. There's been enough time for basically anyone else with enough credits, lack of morals, and cargo space to have the exact same idea. There's really not much of anything physical left aside from the aforementioned hidden room that'd be worth selling on an open market.

As for the normal reward...it'd probably the history lesson and knowing the Rakatans infused pretty much everything with Dark Side energy. Maybe a hint about their regeneration factor. But uh...you got the supercrit so what difference does it make?

Since canon is vague on whether or not that one was ever used and the fact that you got enough goodies from the 110 roll...it's somewhere. Just not on Lehon.

Fuck me, we actually found the Mantle of the Force.

Holy fucking shit that thing's the most powerful force amplifier in the galaxy which won't drive its user crazy and we found it in a fucking storage room?!

Well what about the aforementioned stuff in the hidden room? The banners would fetch a decent sum, the workbench could be used by us to make stuff (Revan had a hand in it so I assume it's a superior mechu-deru workbench) or just be sold, and if there's anything else in the room we can sell that too.

But speaking of artifacts, is there any chance we could sell the Mantle to the Jedi? We can contact the Sentinels to ensure that we stay anonymous and it's so valuable and important that it should get us thousands of credits.

Well, now we know that some archaeology missions can be practically worthless unless we super-crit, which will assist us in determining where we should send expeditions to.

"You've changed," Jerec interrupted, causing Ciaran to jolt slightly before she chuckled lightly. "It's been five years since we last spoke, of course I'd be a bit-"

"I wasn't referring to any physical change," Jerec noted. "Your Force presence is...different. More...centered for a lack of a better term. It was why I wanted to speak with you privately; I was curious as to what happened."

I'm kinda wondering how he noticed this, given the level Buried Presence is at.

No. Just... no.

The Mantle of the Force is not a trinket to be bartered with.
Can you elaborate? All I'm seeing is a +50% boost to someone's power level with San damage. I can see the harm in selling it on the black market or to a Sith Lord or something like that, but it should be safe in the Jedi's hands and we'd make a ton of money selling it to them.

Violation of Rule 3: "Be Civil" - Yeah, nah, not cool. Don't do that.
