However, one major limit of Mnggal-Mnggal is that it usually only has about a week of time to control a sentient host where as the Flood were able to control their's indefinitely.
… I have a sudden urge to have us take a sample of that creature to show to Palpatine, along with the information about how widespread and dangerous the disease is.
:wtf:
:wtf:
Let me rephrase it, if I got this right:
You want to bring Mnggal-Mnggal,
(an sith experiment, that destroyed it's creator, infected thousands of worlds, moons, space stations, that destroyed many an Empires, 'lived' for multiple millennia, and consumes living being 'for kicks')
to Coruscant
(a CORE world with population Over 1 trillion, with nigh-countless tourists and visitors every hour, with multiple hyperspace lanes connecting with other important, populated worlds, that houses almost every Republics government officials and senators)
to present to Sidious
(a SITH LORD, psychopath with enormous god-complex, that ordered{or will order} to genocide many species, that killed millions{billions} of people, that {will}ordered to create illegal bio-wepons, weapons of mass destruction, that won't acknowledge his mistakes, and CAN'T be a douchbag, just because he didn't get the pony he wanted when he was 4)?!!

Have I left anything out?

Halo

"Repeatedly beat the unbeatable universal threat with a single soldier in a power armor"

Resistance Is Futile: Cause the resurgence of the Mnggal-Mnggal.

That's just asking for a Bad End where it keeps us alive to see the consequences of our actions.

Then it loots "Only now, at the end, do you understand." from Palpatine and then kills/consumes us.

Mnggal-Mnggal ins't a sith experiment, it's an actual creature. You're thinking of Project Blackwing, which was a bioweapon developed by the Empire based upon a sith experiment from millennia ago..

There is speculation Mnggal-Mnggal and the sith experiment are linked.. though the writer for the book involving the sith experiment admitted the similarities were unintentional

To be honest, I wouldn't have minded such a bad end if we could restart the quest right before we picked that option, and if Ciaran actually had a Force Vision of that event.

...Actually, that sounds like a pretty damn good idea for Bad End mechanics. If we get a Bad End, and if the quest doesn't end right there, it turns out to have been a very clear Force Vision. It'd be nice food for omakes and actual chapters, in which Ciaran discusses her visions with others. I'll have to remember this in case some other Star Wars quest pops out, so I can suggest it.

"Wait, what? My idea was so bad the Force itself gave you a very clear vision of the universe dying because of it? I'll... show myself out. Don't invite me for the future planning meetings. Please."

What would the achievement be for accidentally having HK47 kill us like he did a number of Not-Revan Masters?

History Repeats?

...So does anyone think that we need to seriously boost our droid population in the near future?

If the Mnggal-Mnggal was found by a madman, there might be more nearby. I recommend that we create droid exploration teams to explore neighboring worlds before we send people in. At least with droids, they are unlikely to be infected by the equivalent of a Flood expy and be much easier to dispose of.

Can we maybe go after the stuff of Suvam Tan the Merchant from Kotor 1. It should be still salvageable and he had truly amazing things there. He had a Space station in the Yavin System and his descandant found things there in 0 BBY.
Suvam Tan

That's going to happen right after the denouement; those are a "once-per-year" kind of thing.

Oh good, they always added a bit of excitement and helped to shift about things, like the assassination attempt which proved to be quite a story moment and helped to develop Ciaran and Dooku's relationship.

*sigh* I miss their peculiar little friendship, he always seemed to take Ciaran's flippant attitude in stride much better than many.

Also, ye gods has it really been that short a time?

And guess who is going to roll theeeemmm~

...Uh oh.

you had to say something about that ;_;

If nothing else it'll shake things up a little, the quest can't be all Ciaran steadily tightening her noose around the Galaxy.
