-[X] Kal Skirata: Effectively one of the leaders of the Republic's commando divisions, you did promise him that you would tell him about the chips first thing. Contacting him would also likely get you some commandos or possibly even a Null ARC on your team.

So we definitely want to bring Kal Skirata and the clone commandos in on this -- if only to give Dr. Snark a chance to let the commandos learn about Order 66 and set up the removal of their inhibitor chips, but also as a way of tying him closer to our organization, pressing our slow-and-steady recruitment of Jango's Cuy'val Dar.

As for Ferus Olin... I really don't know. He's apparently awesome at everything, but we don't really know him well besides the 'saving Darra' thing. Here's his Wookiepedia page for those who are curious -- how well would he mesh with our other allies?

Unless someone has a good argument, I'm going to stick with Kal Skirata.

As for the name, I like the Asclepius idea (snake-based healer vs. snake-like bioweapon), but I wanted something a little more pointed.

I'm leaning towards Kal Skirata, we can legitimately claim we want the research intact because one option for disabling the control chips is a targeted plague, and that gets a lot more possible with this kind of research.

@Dr. Snark Could we also bring Darra into this operation

You could but then you'd not only have the drawbacks of her wanting to burn the base to the ground like other Jedi but she'd also make things more difficult by accusing you of having ulterior motives of some kind (which to be fair Ciaran always has ulterior motives).

Edit: I admit that I kind of love the fact that out of everyone in the galaxy who isn't a part of the Watchers Darra is one of the few people who actually understands what Ciaran is really like. It's so great.

Not sure about the rest yet, but we should definitely talk to Skirata.

As others have pointed out, we did promise him...

No matter how well intended or harmless, saying you're working on a targeted plague will make people panic.

yeah, but unless I'm remembering wrong he's the guy who more or less adopted those clones, and is intensely protective of the rest right? We tell him that the chips are intended to be used to subvert them and that there are way too many to remove surgically and he would probably at least tolerate it. He would likely insist on a lot of precautions, but then again that's not really a huge issue because we would likely be cautious about this ourselves.

If we actually bring in Olin, is it highly possible that he will involve Darra too? Because while an extra capable warrior is more than welcome to be honest, having someone in direct contact with the Jedi (considering Darra is a Jedi herself) is grounds for unneeded moral high ground here. Can't we just ask Olin to not bring in anyone else, if we are to cash in that favor with him?

While the Jedi might accept someone else using that the fact is they're already very suspicious of Ciaran. That's without research of VERY dubious origin, I doubt there are enough dice in the galaxy to persuade them to sign off on her keeping anything.

Dr Snark. Question: Is it possible to have as a write in action: Ciaran quietly 'acquires' a proper lightsaber? As unless I have missed something she and her apprentices are still using a bodge jobs rather than 'true' lightsabers. With a follow up action of mass producing them (Well as much as force fueled weapons can be)

P.S. Yes in theory you could use Asajjs' lightsabers but good luck prying them loose without losing limbs.

works. also a chance to talk to him about order 66. for all we know we've been over thinking things, and he can have a modification made to the clones helmets that would distort their view of holograms enough that they would not be able to recognize Palpatine when the command went out.

If Skyfall taught us anything it's that having a Operation with a built in theme song is important.
