Someone in another quest mentioned Exalted and upon looks some stuff up to get some context for his post I found something that I thought suited Ciaran well...

Article:
Once, there was a maiden...
....and before her came all the peoples of Creation, and knelt.
They set aside their petty squabbles in her name.
They acclaimed her with many shouts.
They prayed for her safety, and her weal.
Not one of them struck free her chains.
"To know the world..."
"...is to own it," she said.

Two things:

Firstly, fucking A, that was awesome.

Secondly:
Still, the fact of the matter is that I have found that creating peace and bringing life is far more beneficial to me than causing strife and ruin like most Sith want to do, but to do that effectively I have to be far more ruthless than any normal Jedi would stand for.
Pardon me if I'm mistaken, but isn't Ciaran's MO basically what the Jedi Shadows were doing before Lawful Good infected the Jedi Order completely?

...Any resemblance the ability when used on physical objects has to the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception from the Nasuverse is purely coincidental, probably. Any references that result from the fact that Ciaran got said ability when she nearly died are also coincidental as Teron wrote that part before I made it a thing. I'm totally blameless. Really.
You ARE aware that both shatterpoints and event fracturing are a canon pair of force techniques right? Hell if I remember correctly Mace Windu is slightly infamous as being the only living jedi capable of using them.

EDIT: Sorry if i'm just confused but the way this bit is written kinda-sorta implies you didn't know that

*blinks, points down*

Yes, Shatterpoints/Fractures like Kreia described are a thing in Star Wars, and it just made too much sense for the reroll to be a part of that.

I even made sure to put that link before that last bit to make sure that people understood that I knew what I was talking about. I was just trying to be funny at the end there honestly.

Our own philosophy, tempered by a brush with the Nothing that was a figment of Darth Nihilus, impressed Kreia enough that she gave us her title.

Ciara's is now the official holder of the name Darth Traya.

...

This opens up a Slew of possibilities for fucking with Palpatine.

....... Get rumors of this new lord sent to the Count? I pet Palpy knows about the original Traya. So the reaction could be... amusing.

And Kreia was one of the great masters of that technique.

Only if you think it's funny for an old man to shit himself from utter terror.

We inherited her title and legacy.

there will always be a darth traya. we just happen to be the next
heck we even have a cool mask to go along with it!
Yes, I realize that, I was just surprised that Kreia would consider her worthy of the title. Darth Traya isn't just some random title handed down to the next generation, it has meaning.

Darth Traya is someone who has been marked by betrayal. Not in the literal sense, but the betrayal of ideals. In both directions. She is someone who has walked the path of Jedi and Sith both, who has seen where both paths fail. Thus betrayed by them she turns away to find a new path, betraying them in turn.

It took a few minutes to see how she qualified, given that she's never been a Jedi or a Sith. But yeah, despite never actually considering herself either she has still learned both and seen that neither holds the truth. So it does work, just not traditionally.

Kreia said:
"But there must always be a Darth Traya, one that holds the knowledge of betrayal. Who has been betrayed in their heart, and will betray in turn."

Can we send Anakin to Kreia after he visited Mortis? I want to see her reactions after she hears of them.

Will there be an option to further investigate the area around and including Malachor V?
There's nothing in Malachor worth dealing with the horrible gaping wound in the Force that is Malachor 5. The entire system is a death trap that does its best to poison anyone that gets near it. And Kreia is a cryptic manipulative old bitch with far too much power for someone who's been dead for as long as she has. Better to leave the place alone now that we've gotten what we wanted.

Also, there is no Malchor 5 anymore. Meetra's crew destroyed the entire planet with the Mass Shadow Generator to make sure Kreia was dead.

It might fuck with him a little, but the largest gain would be the paranoia. To trust Darth Traya in any way is the height of stupidity, even if that trust is merely in the idea of knowing what your plans are.

Kreia might have helped Ciaran due to the Shatterpoint/Fracture ability combined with Ciaran's view of 'being helpful, even if it is destructive'.

Kriea set up a form of philosophy around the ability and will to alter events.

Damn it, I keep trying to think of a way to troll Kreia, but I can't find any. Maybe just visiting her later on for literally no reason than to keep her company, to make her wonder what we're plotting? Hmm... I need to meditate on this. THE TROLL MUST GO ON.

Then again, is it even possible for us to talk to her again? She might have just gone back to the Force. Tch. Failed opportunity.

Methinks we should turn the mansion into a retirement home a Vault. We have one for treasures, and in this one, we'll put all the Force Ghosts/Phantoms we collect. Then, we'll have regular exhibitions, to show off to scrubs like Palpatine, who only have standard Sith shinies.

Ehh.. I'd kind of like to find out more about Revan and the Exile from her. She'd be able to give us a better picture of events than HK would or the history books would give.. if she was willing to tell us and was still around..

Might even get something out of it..
