Non-Canon Omake: Scavenger Hunt Part 1
And finally after a massive amount of buildup this is finally out (I don't think it'll live up to the hype if you've been building it up in your mind for a month even if it is generally solid in my opinion). I'd like to think that while this is not incredibly impressive it is at least intriguing. A lot of this piece was set up for what is yet to come. I decided to split this "episode" into three parts much like how Secrets and Lies in Jump City initially was.

I had a lot of fun writing Rose in this bit and while she won't be showing up as a POV often I do think she'll be getting a few really good character moments later on down the line. That being said I'm a touch worried about how the Jinx-Cassandra relationship plays out in this piece as its different from what came before and I'm a little unsure on if it feels OOC or not. I also had a lot of fun writing the Hive Five but I am worried on whether or not their dialogue felt naturally especially since I kind of fudged the roster due to not remembering who was on the team at the time (I know that in Deception it was just Jinx, Mammoth and Gizmo and in Mother Mae-Eye they added See-More and Private Hive. As such even though I kind of wanted to go with Kyd Wykkyd I ultimately went with the lineup I did. I'll probably switch it up as time goes on).

Lastly for those who are curious, Secrets and Lies in Jump City took place around the time of "X" (Season 3, Episode 2) with this episode taking place after "Haunted" (Season 3, Episode 5) but before "Spellbound" (Season 3, Episode 6). I've got very loose plans for Cassandra and her group to briefly show up in the Third Season Finale (Titan's East Part 2). Following that in the hypothetical fourth season there'll be the all new invented episodes I'll write out tentatively called Terror Titans, Circle of Six, Family Ties and Sword of Beowulf with Cassandra and her team also appearing in the season finale involving a fight against Trigon. I hope you all are as excited as I am and I encourage people to speculate theorize and predict stuff.

Regardless of all that stuff I hope you all enjoy this return now that the hiatus is done.

Non-Canon Omake: Scavenger Hunt Part 1
Rose Wilson
Was it weird to have mixed feelings about a city? Like if it were a person or a thing it wouldn't be weird at all to have mixed feelings on it, but a place? That was always going to be a bit odd. Considering the fact that Rose's dad had died in Jump City after having attempted to conquer it, Rose at least knew that she at least had some justifications for the weird ass feelings the city gave her.

Daddy dearest wasn't exactly a role model in Rose's life, you kind of had to, you know, be present in your kids life for that to work but that didn't mean Rose wanted him to die. He was an inspiration to her growing up after all. How many kids had dads that were top secret government agents? Granted Rose's dad turned out to be less "secret agent" more "internationally wanted assassin and mercenary" but the principle of the thing remained. He didn't exactly need to be around to cast a shadow on everyone else's life in the Wilson family. Once upon a time Rose and her brothers had all wanted to be just like him. As a child Rose had believed that if she were skilled and powerful enough her dad would want her and they could bond together and be a real family again.

In the end though it was nothing more than a nice dream. Mom had a breakdown, Grant got killed playing chicken with some supers, Joe was fucks knows where and daddy dearest had decided to follow up Grant's achievements by getting killed by the junior Justice League.

Just thinking about it all was kind of depressing and the big stupid T-shaped tower in the middle of Jump City's bay wasn't exactly helping her mood. Still orders were orders and when the boss lady told her to come on down and help Cassandra deal with the same meddling brats who killed her dad, well then Rose was all to eager to accept. Her dad was a deadbeat and probably not a good person but he was still her dad god damnit.

And so the whole escapade with giving Cinderblock some modified fear gas to fuck with bird boys brain was both a nice test run to see what the Teen Titans were packing and a chance to potentially settle the score. The Titans had eventually solved things faster than Cassandra would have liked but it'd let Rose nab some of her dad's old gear from Titans Tower. Staring into the bronze and black mask always evoked some intense feelings. This was the closest she was ever going to get to her dad now. Rose couldn't help but think of all the could have beens and should have beens that she knew were beneath her but still hurt all the same. All she had of her dad was just a mask and some gear.

"Are you done staring at that stupid mask yet?" Jinx, Cassandra's petty little minion whined "Looking at it again isn't going to let you find a get out of hell free card to get your dad back"

"Shut up" Rose snarled back in response "You never had any parents so your opinion means nothing"

Jinx moved to yell more at Rose when Cassandra interceded.

"Enough Jinx, let Rose mourn" Cassandra replied even as Rose began to loudly yell that she wasn't mourning anything. Who gave a shit about her deadbeat dad? She certainly didn't. Cassandra didn't seemed moved at all by Rose's yelling, content to just give her a particularly cold glare.

Rose liked the little tyke but goddamn was Cassandra's little body-reading party trick unnerving at times. Rose wasn't intimidated by Cassandra by any means but having someone stare at you like they see right through you and see your soul was always uncanny and uncomfortable. The fact that Cassandra was almost always right only made it freakier cause she could gaslight you into confirming bullshit she spewed if she got into your head. Rose knew the little murder-gremlin back when she still didn't talk much but Cassandra was objectively terrifying if you got on her bad side. Rose wouldn't ever be as intimidated as the average person by Cassandra but it was still sobering to be on the recieving end of her glare.

"I'm not... I'm not mourning!" Rose declared to Jinx's apparent disbelief as the pink haired girl scoffed off to the side "It's just, you know... It was my dad and that's all I'll ever have of him. Like.. he was a terrible person and I never actually met him but still... All I'll ever have of my dad is a mask"

Cassandra's eyes ever so slightly softened at Rose's statement. In the back of her mind Rose knew that Cassandra's sympathy was likely performative at best, Cassandra didn't exactly didn't do empathy like normal people but then what Luthor did? The fact that she put in the effort to fake feeling something for the sake of making Rose feel a bit better was telling in and of itself. Cassandra didn't necessarily care for Rose but she certainly valued her and some days that was enough.

"I'm giving you the week off to get your act together" Cassandra intoned "But after that I expect you to get your act together"

Rose promptly gave Cassandra a salute before walking off, pointedly ignoring the mocking face Jinx made behind her back. Cassandra had given Rose time to sort out her feelings and so she intended to make use of it. Because of this she'd end up missing most of the events in the following days.

Shimmer
"C'mon what's taking so long Gizmo?" Shimmer angrily groused as her incompetent teammates continued to fail at doing the jobs they were supposed to get done "Brother Blood wants this spaceship down pronto and it's your job to handle all the tech stuff"

"I'm working here!" Gizmo snottily shrieked back in annoyance "Do you have any idea how hard it is to build an earth based tractor beam to pull ships out of deep space and convincingly crash them without wiping out all life on earth?"

"Can't be that hard" See-More said "After all most of what we're doing is using LexCorp tech."

"Well LexCorp makes good stuff but just cause we've got stealable hardware doesn't mean that it's easy" Gizmo fired back.

"I still don't get why we can't just steal the transplanter beam or whatever its called " Shimmer's brother said like the thickheaded moron he was. Shimmer made sure to preempt him before Gizmo started ranting at her meathead of a brother and got distracted from getting his work done.

"Firstly it's called a tractor beam not a transplanter beam. Secondly unless you want to carry something the size of a small house for a few miles then we can't do move the beam without potentially breaking something and adding more steps to the plan. And finally DO YOU WANT TO GET CAUGHT BY LEXCORP SECURITY YOU STUPID MAMMOTH-HEADED MORON?"

The catharsis of yelling at her stupid brother was relieving in and of itself. Gizmo started snickering at her brother's cowed expression.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT!" Shimmer shouted at the top of her lungs "GET BACK TO WORK AND DO YOUR JOB!"

Gizmo promptly flew off, muttering under his breath all the while. Shimmer couldn't relax just yet as her brother was off hiding from her hoping to avoid another scolding. Why did all of the boys on her team have to be such idiots most of the time?

"You seem tense" See-More commented "You need to relax, I think we'll see better results with some positive reinforcement"

Shimmer scowled at her monocular teammates unwanted advice.

"Of course I'm tense, Brother Blood is counting on us to get the job done!" Shimmer declared "And I'll give you guys positive reinforcement when one of you has done something to earn it"

"I'm just saying you catch more flies with honey with vinegar" See-More sing-songed

"I could catch even more with manure" Shimmer's brother responded "Why do you even want flies in the first place?"

"It's an expression Mammoth" See-More flatly retorted. Shimmer was going to say more when a familiar unpleasant new addition to the team made itself known.

"Alright cadets I've made my fourth lap around the perimeter and have encountered no hostiles. Quit your lollygagging and lets get the job done! Move, move, move!" The terminal annoyance known as Private HIVE said with the most atrocious southern accent accompanying his voice. Shimmer couldn't stand the bossy know it all.

"Then stop doing pointless stuff and help!" Shimmer yelled back.

"It's like watching someone look in a mirror" See-More muttered.

"You saying I look like Major Loser over there?" Shimmer angrily retorted as she got in See-More's face, her hands crackling with violet energy.

"N-n-not at all" See-More said nervously backing away.

"You're much prettier than he is, sis" Mammoth replied. "Smarter too"

And this was why Shimmer loved her brother. Sure he was a moron but he was so sweet at times and he sometimes savanted his way into saying the right thing at the right time.

"What he said" See-More added on. Well Shimmer just couldn't stay mad at her stupid, stupid teammates. Sure they were a pain to deal with and the stress of this job was causing her to yell at them but they were a million times better than Private HIVE was any day of the week.

"Thank you!" Shimmer demurred.

"I'll have you know that it is against HIVE Academy rules subsection 315b part 4 to attempt to undermine your squad leader" Private HIVE droned on "As such I'll be sure to..."

Before he could complete whatever boring as hell lame rule-following statement he was going to make, the doors to the lab were blown off their hinges and they flew right past Private HIVE, interrupting his rant.

"Hive Five, you're going down!" Robin declared as the smoke cleared out and the Teen Titans were seen clearly standing in the doorway of the hidden LexCorp observatory they were in.

"Four sweeps and no signs of hostiles?" See-More sarcastically questioned.

"It was an honest mistake" Private HIVE braggadociously defended "They must have somehow snuck by me despite my textbook perfect patrols"

"Whatever Major Loser" Mammoth declared in annoyance as Shimmer rolled her eyes at Private HIVE's stupidity "Lets smash some skulls!"

Mammoth promptly charged forwards, eager to fight. Her brother was just too predictable sometimes.

"Titans go!" Robin yelled as the group scattered, avoiding Mammoth's initial charge. Beast Boy engaged Mammoth while the others moved past him and headed towards the tractor beam.

"HIve Five move out!" Private Hive unnecessarily stated. Private Hive took on Robin while See-More started blasting at Starfire and Shimmer faced off with Raven. Shimmer hurled wave after wave of violet energy, blasting apart anything the telekinetic Titan threw at her while attempting to drive her off with more concentrated blasts. They managed a stalemate. It wouldn't last long but Shimmet knew she only needed to stall long enough to give Gizmo the time he needed to bring down the alien spaceship. And when she heard Gizmo crowing she knew they'd won.

"Too late crud-munchers!" Gizmo gleefully taunted "The spaceships coming down and there's nothing you barf-brains can do to stop it!"

Shimmer couldn't help but flash a face-splitting grin. They'd won. Even with Private HIVE's stupidity and annoying rule following they'd still beaten the Titans. The Hive Five beat a hasty retreat from there. After all they were going to need a headstart to loot the crash site to get new tech for Brother Blood's bots. And they'd need every head start they could get to make sure they succeeded in this mission.

Jinx
Jinx wasn't particularly impressed with whoever had been behind the break in to the LexCorp lab. Sure the use of the tractor beam to bring down some alien's spaceship was annoying but they barely bothered to cover their tracks and honestly they were just begging to be hunted down and caught. Cass was currently on the phone making sure everyone was where they needed to be and so it fell to Jinx to figure out whose heads were rolling and how soon they could make that happen.

Sparks danced along her fingertips as Jinx used magic to track the signatures of all the individuals involved in the very brief fight in here. The wisps of who had once been here spoke to her and revealed their secrets.

Five of the signatures were unfamiliar, three of them were obviously metahumans, a bruiser a blaster and something to do with sight, while the other two seemed to be more tech based. They'd entered first and one of them had messed with the tractor beam. Three of them including a brother and a sister had stayed behind and bickered while the other non-metahuman individual had begun attempting to patrol the area around the tractor beam. Interestingly enough it seemed as though the rest of the group all hated the individual who had done the patrolling. That was a potential weakpoint to exploit but Cass could likely give a more accurate assessment once she saw them in person.

The second group was the Teen Titans. Jinx had wanted a rematch with them ever since she'd been thrown out of the Jump City LexCorp building by Red X before she could really let loose. Now it seemed like she might be able to get that rematch. Cassandra would likely be a little miffed at being unable to break them directly but Jinx would be sure to fulfill her best friends wishes and make the Titans pay for getting in their way.

All in all it was looking like it was going to be a good day. She had the scent of both groups and so they could soon start hunting them down at their leisure.

Cass got off of her phone and turned to face Jinx. The tuxedo-esque shirt and casual slacks belied the fact that Cass was raring for a fight even if she couldn't participate directly. Jinx's best friend liked to get physical when she could but often had to play the part of the CEO and so couldn't. Still this outfit suggested that if Cassandra saw an opportunity to get away with a direct fight, she might take it.

"Sorry for the delay" Cass apologized "I had to spend forever making sure that the legal departments were all up to speed on what had gone down. I didn't mean to leave all the work to you"

Jinx grinned. Her time was valuable and she was glad her best friend knew it.

"Relax, these guys are all amateur hour, I've got a lock on both groups involved" Jinx gloated "Apparently our old friends the Teen Titans broke in here to take on some teenage supervillains. I've got both groups on lock and as soon as you give the order I can have us run down either group"

Cassandra began to follow Jinx back towards the car they had arrived in.

"Any preferences or strategic recommendations?" Cass asked genuinely enquiring to know Jinx's opinion. It made Jinx feel special knowing that even though her best friend was arguably one of the most powerful people on the planet she still took the time to listen to Jinx and consider her opinions. Cassandra might be a stupid genius at times but her friend knew to listen to others when it counted.

"I've got none so long as I get to let loose on the Titans to get some payback" Jinx admitted "Speaking of which you going to change at all in case we get a bit physical"

Cassandra sighed in disappointment.

"No, I'm stuck playing pampered princess if we want to keep the element of surprise and maintain the Red X mind control narrative" Cassandra begrudgingly responded.

"Well it could be worse" Jinx replied as she put an arm around her friend's shoulder "You get to watch me rip them apart and you can order the drones to fire on them indirectly so you're not going to be doing nothing"

"That is true" Cass admitted "But I'd still prefer to be able to do it myself"

"Well it wouldn't really be fair if we fought them at the same time. Let's at least give the Titans a sporting chance." Jinx joked as she opened the door to convertible sports car they'd arrived in.

Cassandra tapped a few buttons on her phone and all around them drones rose up into the air in an ominous swarm. Jinx was excited for the hunt.

"So did you come to a decision on who to take down?" Jinx asked her friend as she stepped into the driver's seat. Cassandra considered things for a moment before grinning back at Jinx.

"We'll deal with our unknown thieves first and then I'll have you avenge the slights against the Luthor name" Cassandra said with mock seriousness. Jinx had always known that Cass would want to get revenge on the Titans and it seemed as though their opportunity was arriving now.

Jinx rooted around in her bag of holding before pulling out a series of small dog-like talismans, each one about the three inches in size. She tossed them into the air and fed them magic and intent. Hunt down these individuals, Jinx magically enchanted the talismans as they grew into full sized ephemeral hounds. Track them to the ends of the Earth, never slow down, never tire but make sure you lead the hunters to their prey.

"Well my lady" Jinx said in a faux-Shakespearean tone "It appears as though the witching hour is in your favor as always. Lady luck smiles upon us and bids us good fortune in our hunt"

Cassandra chuckled and Jinx grinned. The ephemeral magically constructed hounds raced off, following the traces the individuals who had broken into LexCorp had left behind. Jinx gunned the car forward as Cassandra commanded the drones to follow. This was going to be a good hunt with a satisfying ending. Luthor's always got even and if it meant Jinx got to make her friend happy while letting loose against the people who had humiliated her well then that was even better.

would have like a main story post more to be honest, but this is good too.

should we at some point let cas be around "normal" ppl for a bit just so that she is not always in corporate princes mode?

The next main story post will take me a while (I've got to look through all of the options available to you guys as well as check stuff to make sure I don't miss things). That being said I am working on it and it will land this week for sure.

Technically speaking this omake was in the works since May and only came about now. I've got stuff that just sits in the pipeline for a very, very long time before it sees the light of day.

I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it is though.

That being said I'm a touch worried about how the Jinx-Cassandra relationship plays out in this piece as its different from what came before and I'm a little unsure on if it feels OOC or not.
Cassandra hyperbolically claiming to have spent forever talking to the lawyers seemed weird, but nothing specifically about how she and Jinx relate to each other stood out. I liked the Rose part, and the bit at the end with drones following magically conjured dogs was cool.

Thank you for the brief review.

The lawyers bit was actually a revision on my end. In the original draft of the thing I had Cassandra talking to the shareholders in LexCorp until I realized that LexCorp is not a publicly traded company. As such it was switched to lawyers because I could still imagine Cassandra having to speak with them after this situation (she'd be both making sure to line up what the legal situation regarding the tractor beam is and figuring out what the pursuit would enable her to do since neither she nor Jinx are officers of the law nor are they officially superheroes). As such I think some of the weirdness came about from that stuff.

The Rose part did end up being something I really liked as well and I thought it was both a good introduction to her as a character and it would add a little emotional weight to what is going on considering I fully intend to have Rose be a foil to both Robin and Cassandra.

The drones following dogs was actually one of the last things to come about in this piece. Secrets and Lies in Jump City did a lot to establish who Cassandra is and her skills in martial arts and manipulation as well as her relationship with the Teen Titans and the bare bones of her relationship with her father. Scavenger Hunt is going to mostly set up Jinx's skills, Jinx and Cassandra's friendship and the vast amount of resources at Cassandra's disposal. The magic dogs were included as a way of both getting the plot moving forward and establishing Jinx can do more magic than just luck manipulation and energy blasts in this continuity (as opposed to the show), while the drones emphasize Cassandra's resources and her tech skills. Having them come together just felt cool and it emphasized they were a team. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get that scene to mesh well and so I'm glad to hear it came together considering that was probably the biggest example of iceberg writing in the piece and I'm happy to know it paid off.

I think we should work on Cass's empathy. That fact that two of her closest friends both think that she cannot/doesn't feel is a bit unnerving, to be honest.

Do Carla, Cheshire or Barbara (interns) still work for us at this hypothetical future? What is their relationship with Cass?

I suspect Barbara went her own way; internships are almost inevitably temporary. No opinion on Cheshire. Note that the core canon @King crimson is using for this series of omakes predates Cheshire and Batgirl's affiliation with our company, so there may be no answer.

And, yeah... we should socialize her more. Lex Luthor is a manipulative something-o-path, and while he's certainly providing Cassandra a good environment, that doesn't equate to being able to teach the already socially stunted Cassandra empathy. This sounds more like a job for Oswald.

I'd like to point out that thinking Cassandra cannot/doesn't feel is somewhat wrong. At the end of the day Cassandra does think of Jinx as a friend (at least at this point in time). Cassandra's empathy is definitely stunted but I'd argue that her problem is not a lack of empathy but rather that Cassandra is bad at dealing with her own emotions and desires (granted even that's simplifying Cassandra's issues in these omakes a fair bit so it's not wholly accurate).

Barbara and Cassandra's relationship is very briefly referenced by Robin in Secrets and Lies in Jump City so you know that they have definitely interacted at some point in the continuity of these omakes. What is known is that Robin believes that Cassandra deliberately turned Barbara against him and engaged in emotional manipulation to mess with them. Barbara almost certainly isn't with LexCorp anymore but the rest of the details I'll leave to your imagination.

Cheshire is also a character in the Teen Titans TV show so she's gone her own way but she probably is in contact with Jinx to some extent. Carla's a character I had no plans to use in this series of omakes so I figured she probably stayed in Metropolis or something along those lines mostly because she's unneeded for the story and thus is entirely off-screen.

Yeah, my point wasn't that she doesn't feel, it was that her closest friends believe that she cannot. So that's a problem we need to address, preferably before she grows up.

Side story was great, by the way! Loved your Rose's inner monologue.

Yeah, my point wasn't that she doesn't feel, it was that her closest friends believe that she cannot.
Jinx knows she can. The whole last scene of Secrets and Lies is her interpreting Cassandra's emotions based on what Cassandra chooses to show, like here.
It was nice to hear how her friend valued her even if Cassandra couldn't out and just say something like "I'm glad you're okay". Honestly it was difficult being the best friend of a stupid genius like Cassandra but Jinx wouldn't have given it up for anything in the world.
Rose is in an awkward zone where she's close enough to know that Cassandra can put on any emotion that she wants, but not close enough to know that there are genuine emotions in there if you know how to look.

Have Cassandra work with Ozzie for the next TV show developmemt

The New Kings and Gods
Omake – The New Kings and Gods

"Saudi Arabia."

"Excuse me?" – the Amazon was surprised.

"Saudi Arabia, still the land of kings," – the empowered visitor says, his voice almost booming, – "I have studied this new world of yours in my spare time, or have you forgotten? You talked of democracy being the prime worldly law nowadays, that even monarchs have to bow before a "constitution", but as I've studied what happens in the lands of my homeland, I've found that the divine rule of kings is still respected in the old lands. Did you seek to mislead me? Your own CIA Factbook talks of kings and amīrs still ruling in that land of Saudi, the United Emirates, and other nations of Arabia. And the rule of those Saudi kings is described as absolute."

Shouldn't he know the answer to this one if he managed to find that site online?

"We never intended to mislead you, mighty one," – Diana replied with a polite nod, hiding her eyes. Honor and pride be damned, this vengeful man is a living powder keg, and she can stomach this a little bit more. – "I imagine that, had you analyzed that Factbook in full, you'd make conclusions on which are the greater powers of this world, and which ones follow the lead."

Teth-Adam pondered on that, his arms folded, right hand's index finger impatiently tapping his left arm. "You speak of those United States of yours. Yet I see millions more people living all over the world. You've spoken of the… atomic weapons of mass devastation, and yet I do not see the whole world bowing to your realm. If the United States are the strongest of all kingdoms, why do they not impose their rule over all?"

Her first thought was "mutually assured destruction," but Director Prince hesitated. The prideful warrior would, of course, have arguments, tactics, strategies on how to dispose of the other nations' weapons and rule unopposed. Diana saw these types of men amongst the military, and knew how they never saw fault in their own words, reasons, or decisions. She has allowed herself to briefly break eye contact with the mighty champion, looking more like a denizen of the Fair Lands than a human. Beyond the impressive windows, the city was full of life. Choked by stone and metal, it nevertheless felt like home to millions, something to save, preserve and treasure dearly. She might have disagreed once, thinking of home looking more… classical, with buildings still showing off their ancient beauty, upon an island full of green fields and beautiful trees, where air is clean and the four winds along the great sea gently nuzzle the denizens with breeze. Yet this world of men was also home for so many people that she protected now. On some level, it was her home, too. But how could she make the ancient conqueror understand something like that, the idea of all life being worthy of protection?

"Kem-Adam," – she addressed him again, looking back at him with a small smile upon her face and her eyes open, confident, – "I've read of your many exploits, mighty one. Tell me: why haven't you conquered the world of yore, with your great powers?"

The man grimaced: "Have you forgotten, woman? The Wizard saw my power and tried to oppose me, managing to seal me for ages."

"Ah, but it wasn't the Wizard that invaded your lands. As you said, you came to stop him, to protect Khandaq from his schemes. With your godly powers, why did you appease yourself merely with fighting off the Children of the Nile and holding land in the south, away from the lush realms of the Fertile Crescent?"

His eyes shoot lightning, literally, if only in a momentary show of strength, – but she'd seen worse. The ancient one didn't even try to stop his booming voice now: "Do you question my strength, Diana of the United States? Or my honor? If it's the latter, then you should know, that Teth-Adam would not strike against gods-ordained kings or heroes, unless they acted unjustly towards the people of Khandaq. My war against the conquerors of Khemet was just, and their own land's gods have taken my side, they chose me as their champion. I had no need to conquer other realms, least of all for the sake of fertile soils, when the might of gods was at my disposal to bring peace to the vast deserts of my homeland. To bring unjust war upon the peoples of the world and kill other kings would be a great dishonor to gods above and bellow…"

The pointy-eared champion stopped, contemplating his words. With wisdom, his own, and god-given as well, he realized that his conversation partner has allowed him to rant for so long so as to prove her argument with his own words. He wasn't sure of its meaning for now, yet he could see the confidence upon her visage. Teth-Adam drilled her eyes with his, waiting for an explanation.

"It is as you say, mighty one, even in your ancient times of wars and the rule of strength, there had also been honor and justice, and you'd start no war unjust. We are… in a similar situation."

He held his hand in response, nonplussed: "Do not compare me with this world's rulers. Their rule is godless, while mine was built upon respect for laws given to us by entities greater than we."

It was hard to argue the needlessness of divine rule with a person literally empowered by gods, wasn't it? Well, she could relate, of course. "Yet there are laws nevertheless, that even mighty kings felt compelled to follow. Nowadays we also have such reasoning to stay our blades: it's called international law. The two World Wars have left humanity with a desire to stop such conflicts from ever coming again. I cannot consider them entirely successful, yet the number of great wars of conquest has lessened in the last fifty years. The empires have let their colonies go, the tyrants have retired or were taken down, and even dictators and absolute monarchs have to bow in respect to the pillars that keep this fragile peace. In many ways, it is respect for ideals greater than our own wishes. And godless though it may seem, the peoples' respect for otherworldly powers still persists. Why, this country's own symbols are all about trusting God, the same God revered, although in different ways and traditions, in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Americas alike, including your own homelands."

Black Adam smiled in recognition, closing his eyes in thought: "Ah, the God of the Israelites, the Hebrews. His Presence in the divine metaphysics was always quite strong, yet even I couldn't predict he'd surpass so many ageless entities with the passage of time. I understand what you speak of, yet Luthor spoke differently. He did not seem to share your enthusiasm for honor, democracy, or peaceful ideals."

She had to roll her eyes: "Lex Luthor is a cynical man of many schemes and many interests, as he handles not merely trade, but also the development of futuristic designs: buildings, weapons, devices that hadn't even existed as concepts yet in the ancient times. As such, he always focuses on power, favors, and results, never on honor. Yet, whether he wants it or not, he is a man of the new world, and there are lines even he won't cross. He might be ambitious and opportunistic, but even Luthor understands that with all his designs, forces and riches, he is not an absolute ruler. Otherwise he'd already send an army to help you reconquer your old kingdom. I can see that he wants to."

"He truly does?" – she could hear hope in the ancient being's voice.

"Of course. My organization can clearly see his exploits in seeking powerful allies abroad, and an ally of great strength and magical powers such as yourself is something that Luthor desires greatly. But even with all his strength, he's still afraid of breaking the international law so brazenly and bringing heat upon himself."

"How so? For a merchant, he seems quite powerful. How would the much poorer realms punish him?"

"Sanctions, for one. Stopping trade, closing LexCorp buildings, ignoring his products. These simple measures sometimes bring down tyrants, much less upstart merchants, as you might say. Much as he wants to help you find your own strength in this brave new world, even Luthor isn't all-mighty. With all respect to him, the Great Dollar is the only thing that Lex might consider a true god, as without all his money, Luthor would be greatly limited, thought by no means defenseless. He is a man that trusts nobody, yet honors his deals and treats his peers fairly. Although, with how rapidly this world is changing, we might yet see some Old Gods come back, and some New ones rise."

Teth-Adam's heart has once again hardened in sorrow. Would he never see Khandaq reborn again? As confident as he was in his strength, he could also see that the new world didn't lack champions, heroes of similar power. If he was truly declared a lawless man in his reconquest, sooner or later they'd come for him and, although he'd take down many a hero, an army of those would most likely stop him in the end. After all, the Wizard was also somewhere nearby…

"Would you call it justice?" – Black Adam questioned Diana. – "Would you consider it fair that the Pharaohs of Khemet were allowed to enslave my people once again, and leave almost no memory of them and their great realm? Am I not just in wanting to take back what was mine from thieves of the worst kind?"

"You have to understand, King of Khandaq, the Pharaohs you fought are long gone, nothing but their great works of architecture left to despair at. The current people of Egypt are, of course, proud of their ancient history, yet they are also a much different people from those you once knew. To them, the wars of Khemet and Khandaq are nothing but an Ancient History lesson. And the other lands that your realms fought over: Nubia and Abyssinia, are now independent nations of Sudan, Eritrea, and Ethiopia, who have likewise little to no memory of the wronged King Teth-Adam of Khandaq, or the lands they owe to give back to him."

He looked deep into her eyes, face seemingly devoid of emotion now. "So you say there is no chance of getting my homeland back?"

She shook her head before smiling once again, as she answered: "I didn't say so, great one. There certainly are ways to give your what you want, and Luthor is likely already thinking about them, as are the leaders of this country. The Hebrews you mentioned have lived stateless for centuries, their people scattered, their old kingdom conquered by other empires. Yet, through the craft of diplomacy, and with support from many a powerful man in high places, they were able to restore their land of Israel, although they had to protect their reconquest afterwards in a number of wars. In the end, Israel stands, recognized as one of the United Nations. It did not come in one day, of course. To build up not just the recognition and a force to take back their land, but also unite their people around this idea – all of it had to be done for years. First of all, you would need to bring the idea of Khandaq back. To reunite your people, or to find new faithful, for many around the world would love to see the rebirth of power of those they consider 'Egyptian Gods'. You have many paths before you, Teth-Adam, yet all require time."

The great king of old returned her smile: "You ask me of patience. I've had much of it, sealed by the Wizard for ages."

Diana smirked, the mood finally lifted up: "A couple more years wouldn't hurt, would they?"

"No promises," was the last phrase she heard before Black Adam exploded in booming, yet somehow still regal and graceful, fit of laughter.

"The things I do for this country…" she thought as she joined the ancient warrior.

Omake – The New Kings and Gods

I'm happy to see another omake by Kir the Wizard. This is another really good piece and while I'll certainly be awarding it the full 500 exp I'll be going over some parts of it piecemeal to hit a few points before making my concluding statement on it at the end

In general this is a really strong opening to the debate between the two. I also find it immensely amusing that if Black Adam genuinely did find the site online he either stole/purchased a laptop (which is an amusing image), went to a public library or (and this is the most likely option) made use of a computer the United States government gave him access to in order to randomly look things up. I just found this a funny visual image.
She has allowed herself to briefly break eye contact with the mighty champion, looking more akin to legendary elves of mortal cultural tradition than like a human.
This is simply a fantastic bit of characterization. This is a really nice illustration of Diana's idealism at work while also mixing in her disdain for people like Eiling. It's absolutely fantastic and it does a lot to establish who is Diana Prince when she makes her argument.

That being said Diana's reference to Black Adam "looking like an Elf" is a little weird. Granted Diana might know of Elves but considering "Elves" are not a real thing in the sense that there isn't any race that would refer to themselves as being elves while "Faerie/Denizens of the Fair Lands" are real, it feels a little odd. A less clunky way to potentially translate the bit about Black Adam and his pointy ears would be something along the lines of "looking more like a denizen of the Fair Lands than a human" rather than the currently rather clunky description. It's not perfect either but I do recommend workshopping that description a touch.
To bring unjust war upon the peoples of the world and kill other kings would be a great dishonor to gods themselves…"
This is a really good speech. I apologize if I'm not going very in depth because this is really good.

That being said minor nitpick. I think that the last bit should be "a great dishonor to the gods themselves". I'm not an expert on grammar but I think themselves is weird in that it requires some sort of specification to work. I know "they themselves" works but not "painters themselves" and so I think there might be a slight grammar issue there. Not a big deal but something worth pointing out.
Should be pointy-eared. Still a minor nitpick and one I don't think you need to fix but its some slightly weird phrasing.
at a similar situation
Minor nitpick number 3 but this should be "in a similar situation" rather than "at a similar situation".

Sorry if this is personal but I'm curious if Ukrainian directly translated would have you say something along those lines. I know that a lot of my relatives who primarily speak Hebrew make similar errors often so I'm curious if this is a structural language thing. You don't need to answer but I figured I might as well ask and potentially learn something.
It was hard to argue the needlessness of divine rule with a person literally empowered by gods, wasn't it? Well, she could relate, of course
This is really good. Not much to say beyond I found this excellent. In general the omake manages to make the politics really interesting to engage in but I thought I'd highlight this because I thought it was really great at highlighting how unique the whole thing is.
Should be "Yet there are laws"
has, certainly, lessened
I think the commas here are unnecessary but someone with more grammar experience than me might want to weigh in.
God of the Israelites
Although, with how rapidly this world is changing, we might yet see some Old Gods come back, and some New ones rise
I don't know if this is an oblique reference to the New Gods or not but I found it very entertaining regardless. It's a neat little touch that wasn't necessary but it did add a lot to the conversation.
"Would you call it justice?" – Black Adam questioned Diana. – "Would you consider it fair that the Pharaohs of Khemet were allowed to enslave my people once again, and leave almost no memory of them and their great realm? I found this whole thing really impressive and I think it's my favorite section of the entire omake. The Israel comparison to me is a really interesting and relevant one to me personally (I have family members who were living in the British Mandate of Palestine prior to its foundation and during the Israeli War for Independence). I don't think it's 100% accurate to Khandaq's situation but the parallel is there and accurate enough and it is fascinating to consider. Black Adam as a weird comic book counterpart to both Theodore Herzl and David Ben-Gurion is an interesting direction and not one I've thought of. I really want to potentially play around with this more.
she thought as he joined the ancient warrior.
Should be "she thought as she joined the ancient warrior."

All that being said I'm going to talk about the omake itself. I found this whole thing rather beautiful. It talks about religion and national sentiments and displacement without being insulting, derogatory or offensive. It handles the controversial stuff really well and I found it absolutely captivating to read. All of this is immensely difficult to balance and the fact that Kir the Wizard pulled it off as well as he did impresses me to no end. It's an immensely solid piece that characterizes both Diana Prince and Black Adam insanely well. Its more than earned 500 exp as it can fit into the canon timeline.

I don't think so. You'd say "in a similar situation" in Ukrainian as well. I think I was just sleepy, and referencing English informal talk I've heard, which isn't necessarily grammar-correct all the time.

Thank you very much, glad to have contributed to this game once again. I've edited the post with all of yours corrections and suggestions (although I think Diana could have potentially seen modern fantasy films by this point, she'd still probably reference her original experience, so I've added the Fairie Land explanation of yours).

Should we have Adam watch Yes Minister?

This way when he sets up his Civil Service the democraticly elected politicians of New Khandaq will not be able to thwart his will? And he gets to keep his Royal Image & PR clean?

Five Ramblings
Five Ramblings

LexCorp Tower, 41st floor, Office of Lex Luthor, 10:30 am
"Mercy, my dear," her boss said, reading the newest reports on his prototype LexTab, suit immaculately white and unrumpled, "why, exactly, do my employees insist on these useless acts of self-sabotage?"

The blonde valkyrie looked up, checked his posture, hands, and brows as he sat behind his mighty table. The excessively well-paid interior designer had chosen the desk to be a shield, a bastion, something that intimidated the petitioner on Lex Luthor's valuable time, akin to the Resolute Desk. Thankfully, she had been in her employer's retinue long enough to be resistant, if not immune, to the power differential the majestic piece of furniture made visible.

And so she took notice of all the hidden clues, reasoned that right now, Lex just wanted to rant, and replied, crisply: "I don't know, boss."

The owner of all he could see stood up, turned to the steel-framed window, bared his back to her - a sign of trust, for sure, but a sign of dismissal as well. That was okay; Mercy knew that her boss thought of her as his most trusted tool, but that was probably the highest achievement a person could get, maybe excepting Cassandra.

"I give my people everything they need, everything they desire. Have I not supported Ivo's endless work on the AMAZO project, even though he failed again and again?"

His voice was getting higher, more aggressive, pounding the words out, punching the air.

"Have I not given Loomis his own TV studio? I am willing to protect and foster my people; I have helped Dr. Isley achieve one of the highest political offices a woman has ever had in this country!"

He paused: "Note to self - check if Dr. Isley wants to attain another political office after her mandate." Then, he continued, gathering steam again:

"All I expect of my people are two things, Mercy. Two! Loyalty and competence. Is that too much to ask? And in doubt, I can even live without the competence, or else I would have fired Marie Louise Dahl ages ago!"

His strong voice vibrated with barely contained anger:

"But no, Cerise Orielle casts an unknown spell on Jinx, one of my wards, and sabotages one of my most important projects, risking the lives of two of my newest researchers! What is her gain, I ask you? Why would she act so insanely? Have I given her any reason to distrust me? If she has problems with my dealings, would I not at least listen to her?"

Clenching his hand to a fist, Lex slammed against the window, whirling around, the bottom of the suit's jacket flaring from the speed.

"But no. Instead of coming to me with her problems, as most rational people would do, she tries to circumvent me. And so I trust her even less and have to devote resources to supervising her I could use against the menace that is endangering this city, hindering her efforts in whatever she wants to do. Thus, both of us are diminished."

Breathing deeply, Lex Luthor collected himself. The entire tirade had been less than two minutes, but that was his budgeted rage time for the week. Mercy sighed inaudibly; the boss must have been badly hurt by Cerise's actions, to allocate the two-minute rage to her and not to Superman. She observed as he sat down once more behind his bulletproof desk, gathering the next flimsy, speed-reading before asking her:
"What's next?"

LexCorp Tower, 2nd floor, Main Mess Hall, 12:15 am
The background clamor of more than a hundred people eating was close to deafening for Karl. He would have preferred by far to eat his luncheon in his secluded laboratory, but Mercy Graves had asked him to dine with her, and she was one of his oldest colleagues. Maybe even a friend.

Poking her salad with her fork, she smirked: "You know, Karl, for such a green company as ours, the veggies are absolutely terrible."

The older man lowered his chin, exhaling softly, the cold neon lights mirrored by his bald-white skull, and he replied just as softly:

"Mercy, get to the point. I could be back in my lab, perfecting my bone-growth formula or enhancing one of the millions of other LexCorp projects that would help this company avenge my son."

Her smirk faded; it wasn't her fault, of course, but she couldn't have known that a childhood friend of his son had tried to get in contact today, asking where he was. That had torn the barely-scabbed wound wide open again. To her credit, his opposite nodded resolutely, squared her shoulders, and asked her real reason for this meeting:

"What are you looking for, Karl? I mean, what can we do to help you the most?"

The way she asked the question under her breath, the tilt of her neck, the way her irises did not widen themselves betrayed her to his schooled eye. Mercy already knew the answer, but she wanted him to tell her anyway.

"I want to end those bastards myself. I want to kill them all. I want to wade in their blood, use their guts for garters and their skulls for a shrine. I want them to suffer so terribly that the hell I will send them to will be akin to heaven to them. I want to hear those monster sob and beg, want to see them wet themselves in terror! I want to hold their hearts in my hand, and I want to repay them the pain my son must have felt a thousandfold!"

He was almost shouting now, sweat dripping from his brow, and he wiped it away, now acutely aware of the stares of his co-workers as they whisper. Karl collected himself, even if it was difficult - his heart still broke every day. Then, he continued, in an icily calm tone, looking directly, fearlessly into Mercy's eyes:
"Most of all, I want my son back. But since that's not in the cards, I'd appreciate it if you would inform our owner that a more active stance against Kobra and a more active role for me would be a tremendous favor to me."
He took a vicious bite out of his chicken wing, not genuinely tasting it, wolfing it down instead.

"It would be a far better use of my time than trying to analyze 'magic runes.' Bah. It's not humbug - I have learned to accept it - but science will beat these shenanigans nine times out of ten. So, if that was all, Mercy, don't worry. I am still functioning. I am not happy, and I doubt I'll ever be again, but LexCorp has been good to me. But I would thank you if you would run to our master and tell him what I want."

LexCorp Tower, 21st sub-basement, backup office of Dr. Helfern, 4:57 pm
Karl rubbed his thick eyebrows as he stared at the green-glimmering monitor. The back of his neck itched, and that could only mean...

"Hello, Jinx. What can I do for you today? I thought you didn't want to have anything to do with us after that aborted analysis of the runes."

The strangely-skinned girl sneered at him. He had no idea how she had entered this secured facility, but between her probability manipulation and her tendency to hang out with known felons, he was not too surprised.

"Yeah, old man," she said snidely, "that was why I'm here. I just wanted to talk to the one guy in your team I thought had any brains."

She paused, looking contemplatively, which was rare on the little ball of chaotic destruction.

"Well, except for Pammy. But she's back to her stupid department of eco stuff, so I need to mess up you, baldie."

On cue, one of the lights that had been acting up for a day or two flickered a final time and then died forever.

"You see, why the hel-, eh, heck did you do an analysis of my magic runes with people who don't believe in magic, stupid? For a bunch of so-called smarties, you guys sure were dumb. I'm just glad I can still feel the magic in me. If you had managed to take that away from me, oh boy, this would have been a totally different talk."

Karl sighed, his headache having wandered behind his eyeballs, as he tried to massage his temples.

"How do you even know about this part of the experiment?"

"I bugged your lab, duh. I'm uneducated, not a dunce. So, the next time you do this kind of crap, get some believers in there. Cerise, Kittykat, even that dumb carrot top, each of them would be a good leader for your team. For everyone else, you're scientists, for heaven's sake. Leave your preconceptions at the door."

"That's a pretty big word for you, Jinx."

As she turned away, and another bulb burnt out, she replied, almost at the door: "Yeah, the wee genius makes me read her the word-a-day calendar. What a brat."

She threw the door closed. The doctor turned to the monitor to see what he had expected - the increase in entropy had wiped out his entire work of the last few days. He had a backup, but better not to summon the wrath of things up high; instead, he decided to get up, get a beer, and maybe do some more experiments on the Kobra goons. The beauty of terrorists: No matter what horrible things you did to them, you only felt better afterward.

LexCorp Tower, 80th floor, Recreation Room, 7:35 pm
"Damn it," Mick growled, his fist hitting the functional yet elegant billiards table. His shot had gone wide, but that wasn't the reason why his hand trembled, and he had to control himself not to grab the silver lighter from his left pocket.

"Language, big guy. You should be glad if I beat you; it just means you're a good teacher," the tiny terror replied gleefully.

"No, Jinx, it's not that. I have received an e-mail. Somebody's thrown my name to the crazy uncle, and he cast me for some role in that Camelot stuff. I'm not an actor, Jinx. I have no clue what they want me to do."

She laughed and laughed loudly, and it cost her the shot.
"Lay off Ozzy; he's a good guy. And yeah, I did. Oz wanted to know what we, his audience, would think about the script. There was a big bad Fire Demon summoned by the witch, and you've got the build, you've got the skills, and you still have a few months to learn acting."

Mick looked at her, angrily:
"And you didn't think to ask me, girlie? You're fu- you've thrown me into hot water. I need to act, and I need to work with fire. Jinx, I am a recovering pyromaniac. This is like driving Len to his father and giving him an alibi. This is irresponsible, even for you, Jinx. I'm disappointed in you. You went over my head, you went behind my back, just to watch me either embarrass myself or get out of control, and Dr. Parker still doesn't have a replacement."
His voice was steady, collected, but the barely contained rage Jinx could hear could almost feel simmer in the air.

To his surprise, and her credit, she did look crestfallen, at least for a second, before bouncing back:

"First, that would be quite acrobatic of me. But no, Mick. Really. You're a good guy. You know fire, and you need to control your urges. I know that's fat, coming from me, but trust yourself as I trust you. And besides, you won't be alone, will ya? I've talked to Ozzy; he said I could hang around the set as long as I'm not too much of a devil. 'Sides, carrot to... er, Rebecca will be there as well?"

He sighed, accepting, if not defeat, then a pyrrhic victory.

"I hold you responsible for this, you know."

And then he sank the next ball, smiling.

"And I'm going to clear you out in revenge, Jinx."

LexCorp Tower, 66th floor, Rebecca Carstair's private rooms, 9:35 pm
Electric bulbs, hidden behind crimson lampshades, lit the room in the soft orange of the setting sun. The interior was as idiosyncratic as the dweller who had claimed the domain, hard rock records next to occult paraphernalia, a life-sized poster of an attractive red-head next strutting icily down the catwalk in an expensive desk paired with an old photo of the same woman, dressed in grunge uniform, smiling broadly amidst roadies and drummers and fans. Mick was sitting on the skull-and-bones decored table, sipping from the beer, while Rebecca had laid her bare feet on it, reclined in the comfy chair, nursing a glass of bourbon. He nodded and got up:

"Thanks, Beccs. I've been scared of this acting gig, but eh, as Jinx said, I'm not alone; you're millions, you know? Well, I'll see you Saturday for our movie night, okay? And thanks for the beer, as well."

Putting the green bottle back on the table, Mick began to stand up. He paused as he watched a shadow darken her face. Figuratively, not literally; with Becca, you had to specify.
"Everything alright with you?"

Taking her feet off their improvised rest, letting the front legs of the stool smash into the floor, Rebecca Carstairs almost sprang up, kicking the poor, mistreated piece of furniture back and down. Her face was a rainbow of emotion, fire licking over her arms and back, threatening to burn the black tank top she was wearing, or at least singing it. She knocked back the rest of the glass in one long drink, ramming it down on the coaster, empty.

"No. No. No, nothing's fucking alright with me. Your precious foster daughter hates me even more after the fuck-up last week. I'm still the occult shitstain of the model or rock industry, and no one wants to work with me because they're fucking scared - that I'll turn them into a toad or something. Or that their career will go down the drain if they work with me. Knights works, but let's be honest - it's a show for teens, and we're lucky if we get season four, if that. And then? Then I'll go back to being Luthor's witch in chief, but I'm not anymore, am I? Between Cerise and whoever's next, I'm just yesterday's news. And then there's my personal life. Do you know how rarely a good guy hits on me, Mick? Or a good girl? No, the harmless ones run scared, and I get the macho guys who try to impress me by being so ballsy that they'll always have to prove themselves. They're just as freaked out, only they try to mask it!
And the one guy who isn't terrified of me is terrified of himself! Of his own damn shadow! For fuck's sake, Mick, if it were just that you didn't want me, I'd be okay with friendship. But I see how you look at me. I notice the timbre in your voice. But nooo, no romance for Mick Rory, the guy who's afraid of nothing but himself. Safe, friendly movie nights. Late-night talks that end with one of us leaving. Damn it, Mick. You're not a monster at heart; you deserve a shot at happiness. And so do I. But not if both of us pussyfoot around this."

She slammed the door, walked out in a rage. Mick sighed, counting mentally to sixty. Then the door opened again, and Rebecca walked in once more. A bit bedraggled, a bit less enraged, a bit more in control.
"Well. This is my room, apparently, so it's not me that should storm off. And sorry, I shouldn't have lost control like that; it was a shitty day."

He smiled, a bit sadly: "Well, I can't rightly say you weren't correct. I am scared; I don't want to; I can't let go. I have something good here, and if I fuck it up, I ruin things not just for me. But you're absolutely right, Beccs. You're millions. And if I don't see that, I break things as well, don't I?"

The firebrand smiled, her dimples softening her face:
"So, say, dinner, and cinema, instead of chips and couches? No commitments. Just, let's see where the river leads us?"

Mick went to the battered door, looking over his shoulder:
"Say, 7:30? I'll try to find something more in fashion than this old leather jacket."
Her laughter was a pure bell ringing, and the last thing he heard before the door snapped shut was: "Nah, I like it on you; it's just the way you are."

Another really fun omake. Like last time I'm going to comment on individual things before talking about it in summary.

Isley achieve the highest political office a woman has ever had in this country!"

This is a really solid opening and I enjoyed Lex's rants. I personally struggle a lot with getting the Mercy-Lex dynamic down so seeing Swedish15 get it down is a lot of fun.

Pamela is also certainly not holding the highest political office the country has ever had (for example in 1979 Jimmy Carter had Juanita Morris Kreps as his Secretary of Commerce and other presidents have had positions in their cabinet. While there isn't necessarily this specific individual, history in the DCQU is broadly similar enough that there have been female cabinet members before this point in time. And that's without getting into the argument of whether Waller or Diana have equal or higher positions as heads of government agencies). She's potentially achieved a position no woman has before but it is something worth clarifying.
This is interesting to note and I imagine it echoes some players feelings. I can't answer this directly because of spoilers but I will say that Lex isn't asking the right questions here.
If you had managed to take that away from me, boyo, this would have been a totally different talk
This is a really weird usage of the word boyo. "Boyo" can mean "a boy or a man" but its generally colloquially associated with Welsh or Irish people. Jinx is neither of those so I don't think that's intentional and it's a bit weird. I'm not sure what you were going for 100% but I think you could rewrite it as "It you had managed to take that away from me, oh boy, this would have been a totally different talk".
even that dumb fire crotch
This is pretty intense. Like the term "fire crotch" refers to redheads by virtue of pubic hair. It's a super coarse term and it works but I think it's worth noting that it's a really unpleasant way to refer to someone. It's up to you whether or not you want to go with that but I think it is worth thinking over the implication of the phrase and if its something you think Jinx should say.
but better not to summon the wrath of things up high
Not sure what this phrase means. Could you please clarify?
No Jinx
I've never heard this expression before. If you don't mind my asking where is it from and what does it mean?
will ya
Electric bulbs, hidden behind crimson lampshades, lit the room in the soft orange of the setting sun. The interior was as idiosyncratic as the dweller who had claimed the domain, hard rock records next to occult paraphernalia, a life-sized poster of an attractive red-head next strutting icily down the catwalk in an expensive desk paired with an old photo of the same woman, dressed in grunge uniform, smiling broadly amidst roadies and drummers and fans. Mick was sitting on the skull-and-bones decored table, sipping from the beer, while Rebecca had laid her bare feet on it, reclined in the comfy chair
I really like this description of Rebecca's room. Not much of a commentary but it communicates a lot about who she is to the reader without going out of its way to state it. It's fun and it gives off a lot of personality.
No.
I like this a lot. Rebecca's been a bit out of focus as of late but this actually angles stuff really well for what's going on with her. I think this is good and it adds a lot to things.
only they try to dub it over
this is a weird turn of phrase. Dub can mean a lot of stuff but it doesn't really matchup to what I think you are going for. I don't have a perfect suggestion for a replacement because I don't know what you're going for but you might try "only they try to overcompensate", "only they try to mask it" or "only they try to bullshit themselves and everyone around them". I don't know but I do know it is a bit weird.

That being said that's all of the nitpicks I've got for this piece. I enjoyed this piece. It's a little heavy-handed at certain points (Karl's murder speech and Rebecca complaining about her personal life) but it works and it manages to land fairly well. It's got a solid grasp of the characters and it has fun with them, creating interesting and entertaining interactions. It's a lot of fun and it explores some avenues I haven't really touched yet but will likely at least explore in the future. Swedish15 delivered a fun omake that touches on the personality of the characters. I like this omake and I will award it 500 exp and canon status once I double check to make sure there are no continuity errors. As such I might pop in a personal action or two next turn to potentially keep exploring what has been set up in this omake going forward from here. I had a lot of fun reading this and I'm glad to see another omake written.

I've edited as well as I can:

"Boyo" can mean "a boy or a man" but its generally colloquially associated with Welsh or Irish people.
The boyo was by design; between Jinx being an orphan, and running around with the cosmopolitan crowd at LexTower, I think she gathered more than a few tidbits of other languages. Still, I switched it up. (Also, I've been playing too much Borderlands 3 as Zane).

This is pretty intense.
Yeah, that was by design. There are several reasons for it - Jinx is, what, fifteen? The right age for an immature teenager to reduce most, if not every thing, to sexual connotations. Additionally, I read :
Jinx and Rebecca do not like each other but they recognize the others value as a resource. They can work together they just really don't like doing so
I read that as "They detest each other, but they're too good at working together." I've exchanged the slur for a lesser one.

I've never heard this expression before.
I.... haven't the slightest. I was *certain* I've read it in English literature, but Googling doesn't fit it, but it's not a German idiom, either. I meant to express that Jinx is not one to talk, as she has her own share of problems in that area.

"only they try to mask it"
AHA! Thanks, that was what I was looking for, and couldn't get into my head :D

"Boyo" is not inherently wrong. It's just a bit weird for her to have picked up. Jinx was an orphan in the USA. LexCorp is in Maryland and I don't imagine Jinx went coast to coast as she got moved around in the foster system. She did likely pick up some bits from other dialects and languages. I wouldn't be surprised if she referred to someone she thought was stupid as an "idjit" or a "roofer" or mentioned that "she was going to dip" when she wanted to leave because that's stuff that she'd have the cultural context to pick up. "Boyo" is weird because it's a distinctly non-American English turn of phrase that wouldn't really be directed at a young girl all that much from what I understand.

All that being said if you really want to use the word I imagine Metallo might use it to mock Bruce Wayne. It's a fun turn of phrase but it is something that's got a lot of weird connotations about it (with Zane from Borderlands 3 it's being used to imply that he is the space equivalent of a lower class English person, considering he also tosses in some cockney slang as well in his lines) which you should be aware of if you make the deliberate choice to use it.
Yeah, that was by design. There are several reasons for it - Jinx is, what, fifteen? The right age for an immature teenager to reduce most, if not every thing, to sexual connotations.
You're not wrong but I think there's some cultural stuff going on there as well which has to do with American perception of things. Like calling someone a "goat-fucker" is considered less offensive than calling someone a "cunt" even though looking at it objectively the opposite should be true. This might be me escalating things incorrectly but terms like "dickhead" or "fuckface" would be less offensive than "fire crotch". I don't know why the American cultural perception of terms involving female genitalia is the way it is and I could be wrong on the perception of it but from what I know it's a little more straight up harsh than most high schoolers would use. Someone else might want to weigh in as an outside opinion but that was my brief judgement on the matter.

I think you might be mixing phrases then. "Chew the fat" means more or less to talk in an informal manner and there's also "that's a fat load/lot of..." which is meant to imply that something is useless or worthless in some way but I can't find anything that lines up with the expression you used neatly.

Perhaps the expression you were going for was "I know it's a fat lot of good coming from me." or something along those lines which would roughly mean "It's no good coming from me". Does that cover what you were going for?

Edit: Also this is totally unrelated from what I'm talking about above this point but I'd also like to inform people that the DC's for building in various places has been updated

Second edit: expect the update to hit around 11 pm PST. I'm currently trawling through about 500+ posts to make sure I didn't miss any write-ins which naturally will take time.

Analysis incoming. Important note: I'm going to be talking about the connotation of certain insults in this post, as they exist in the culture that I live in to the degree that I've been able to perceive it, including insults that I, personally, would not use. I'm going to be expressing some of the implications underneath them in blunt and somewhat thorough ways, including a number of (mostly misogynistic) implications that I do not personally agree with. I am spoilering this because I know that some folks on this board can be sensitive to such things, and I want to give you the option to not read it.

Basically... in the US, calling someone a goat-fucker or a dickhead or a fuckface mostly means "I'm insulting you in a sort of generic way, and using profanity". 'Dickhead' carries a vague implication that you're either a bit of an asshole (roughly, "You treat people poorly." 'Asshole' is a notably stronger insult than any of the other three, though still much weaker than many of the ones to come.) or that you're a poltroon, a cog in the system, a worthless norm. Often, people who intend the second meaning are, themselves, assholes, an using it to imply that societal conformance is in and of itself worthy of insult. Still, it can very easily mean nothing more than either of the other two.

Taking it to specifically female insults throws in a degree of misogyny. If a man calls a woman 'cunt', he is insulting her for being female. There's generally an implication either of "and you, like all females, are valuable only because you can be fucked" and/or of "and you are acting towards me in ways I don't personally like and/or have an attitude toward me I dislike". The second generally folds in a sub-implication either of "and therefore you are a bad woman, because proper women are nicer than that" and/or, in extreme cases, of "and most or all women are badly behaved, and I take this as a reason to dislike and think poorly of the gender as a whole."

If a woman calls another woman a 'cunt', it's not as bad. The level of misogyny is somewhat attenuated, but still exists. It pretty much invariably refers to "you treat me and/or people I care about poorly" with occasional forays into suggestions of excessive promiscuity/sexual availability, especially in ways that are to the detriment of other women.

If either calls a man a 'cunt', you take one of the above meanings, and slap on a layer of "and also, this is you being woman-like in a way that calls for insult". It absolutely includes a level of misogyny, though not so strongly directed. Certainly, there's the strong implication there that telling the man that he's acting in a female way is in and of itself an insult, due to an implied female inferiority.

Now, I've never heard of 'fire-crotch' as an insult before, but I'd imagine that the issue would be one of sexual objectification, much like the first implication of 'cunt'.

Basically, this comes out of a backlash against sexism. Men who are actually misogynist and/or deeply sexist and resentful of women gaining power will, of course, use sexist insults as part of psychological pressure to attempt to force women back to "their place". Those men are also often low-status. (One of the stronger drivers to serious misogyny is the men who don't have a lot of reasons other than their gender to derive status from, and who resent that being taken away. There's a very similar driver for racism.) The fact that sexist insults are actually used as a tool of cultural oppression means that as women have gained more societal influence, they've overall become less acceptable than normal insults - it's not just insulting, it's also oppressing, and that's a higher offense. The combination of women growing in power societally and low-status men loudly throwing around sexist insults has, in turn, caused sexist insults themselves to become low-status. In turn, much of the casual use of such insults has stopped (especially male-to-female), in the way that casual use of 'dickhead', 'fuckface', or 'asshole' has not. Thus, the people using them are that much more often using them for that effect, which strengthens the associations, and so forth.

...and, again as a parallel, similar things have happened with certain racist insults, perhaps even more strongly. There's one in particular, which I refuse to use, even to tell you what it is. I will simply quite Tycho of Penny Arcade in describing it.

"Look, I'm a fancy pants; I love to talk about context. I can perform rhetorical miracles with that shit. That word is cultural plutonium, full stop. You can't touch it with your bare hands. It's not his, and it doesn't even matter why. Again: I know the arguments. Have them with yourself. But… where's the upside? It's not worth using; the handle is the blade. "

So yeah... to some degree, context matters. Words mean certain things in the overall culture, and their meanings can and do adjust somewhat in certain subcultures or friend groups. In some places, they can even be terms of affection. They can be taken more or less strongly, and their implications can and do shift. Then past that, there's a point where, well, context matters, except when it doesn't.

Turn 24 Action Phase
And the winning vote from last time was
[X] In exchange for negotiating with the US Government to help Khandaq separate from Egypt, Black Adam will act as an enforcer of the DOMA for a year
[X] In exchange for agreeing to act as a counterweight to Superman, you and Diana will help push for Black Adam to be recognized as a superhero in the USA provided he doesn't break any major laws
[X] In exchange for providing Black Adam with data on metahumans, he will provide what he knows on gods and magic
So this is a thing. It has arrived much later than expected but it is still here, technically on Thursday (I think). I wrote a lot of this late at night so I might've missed something. If I did please let me know. That being said for those of you who are concerned with the Cerise situation the options for dealing with her are at the bottom of each section with the exception of attempting to study the runes again.

Turn 24 Action Vote
Select up to twenty five actions. Please remember that there is a 10 hour moratorium on voting and that all votes in plan format will be rejected. Please note that the extra action involving children will only be available during the hero vote. Be aware that Pamela will not be available to be assigned to any actions this turn. In addition to all of this I will be attempting something a little more experimental to see if people make use of the feature. Nemesis actions will also be available in the hero vote and will be able to replace options selected here. This is a gauge to see if the feature would see any real use and affect how people make plans.

You stand once more on the precipice of a grand moment. Numerous enemies move in the dark ready to soon make their moves. Calamity will come and in the ensuing chaos of a new age, you fully intend to emerge victorious and conquer all before you. It will not be easy, and it likely won't be pleasant but now more than ever you are needed to steer LexCorp and guide the course of the human race. The world needs great men to overcome great challenges and there is no man greater than Lex Luthor. Whatever comes your way is nothing before your own might and brilliance. And so greatness awaits

Nemesis Gauge: 13

Martial: Lesser men might balk at what needs to be done. In a civilized age what need is there for violence? The very question is a lie. Man can never be fully civilized, he is always hungry, grasping for more. Thus the teeming masses must be broken to your will which in turn requires that you use the iron glove, at least to some extent. There's no need to revel in cruelty but sometimes cruelty is all fools can comprehend. You intend to make yourself clearly understood and if you have to punctuate your message with a bit of violence so be it. Lex Luthor will not falter
[ ] Hire more LexCorp security forces
DC 52 You have managed to get more manpower for your organizations but why stop at merely matching the power and might you once had? Going above and beyond and further expending your sphere of influence might prove well worth it in the long run especially as more powered individuals seem to be showing up.

[ ] Train up LexCorp forces
DC 26 Your forces could probably do with some better drilling so that you are more prepared to deal with unexpected events and esoteric foes. If your forces are trained enough eventually they will be able to take on threats more evenly rather than relying on technology and numbers like they do now.

[ ] Train up the police
DC 32 While the police aren't directly working for you they still are under your control. Ensuring that they are all capable and competent will help improve how useful the police are to you especially in the wake of the events of Lexpo.

[ ] Provide the SCU with state of the art equipment
DC 61 The SCU is still in its infancy but there is a lot you can do to ensure that the organization flourishes. Getting them mecha-suits and the like might be tricky to angle considering your government contracts but you are confident that you can ultimately land the deal if necessary

[ ] Improve LexCorp forces equipment
DC 50 Your forces are equipped with the best equipment money can buy. However you can go even further. By customizing the individuals equipment to suit their needs you can further improve their equipment.

[ ] Fortify LexCorp tower
DC 65 Security is as ridiculously high as always but as ever being more secure is almost never a bad thing. Further increasing the strength of your defenses should allow you to ensure that LexCorp tower remains an unbreakable monolith and a monument to your power

[ ] Enchant LexCorp tower
DC 57 Mari has recently taken steps to up the magical security of LexCorp tower but it may not be sufficiently up to par just yet. As such getting an additional layer of enchantments might be just what you need to ensure that any potential problems which are mystical in nature are promptly preemptively prevented.

[ ] Fortify Metropolis
DC 32 You have effectively made Metropolis more secure than ever before. However in the wake of all of the attacks you may want to further increase the security of the city to ensure something like this can never happen again.

[ ] Erect wards around Metropolis
DC 44 Rebecca has offered to create mystic wards around Metropolis to prevent another attack. Rebecca's increased understanding of how wards work will make this action both easier and more effective

[ ] Patrol Metropolis with security forces
DC 18 Your forces are incredibly powerful and have unmatched capability. However they have very little field experience. Why not give your forces some field experience? Sure this will probably increase resentment amongst the police but you can essentially supplant them in every way since your own forces are vastly superior. Furthermore this will let you catch any of the League of Shadows who are hiding in your city.

[ ] Fortify LexCorp's non-Metropolis holdings
DC 72 So far most of the attacks have been concentrated on Metropolis but LexCorp has branches outside of your city. Making them even more defensively formidable will help keep things that way. Forcefields are the natural escalation of your defensive measures and you now have access to them.

[ ] Bring any building behind on defense up to standard levels
DC 49 With your constant construction of new buildings sometimes the security on them doesn't quite match what you'd like to have. As such it is important that you being up the defenses of your buildings to what the average level is

[ ] Crush all criminals
DC ??? What few criminals are left in Metropolis are either incredibly smart or incredibly good at hiding. However you are confident if you continue to dedicate forces to the removal of these pests you can continue to succeed and ensure your city remains clear of crime.

[ ] Attempt to kill the unknown individual and his associates
DC ??? The unknown individual is too potentially dangerous to your operations. As such you have decided to try and eliminate them.

[ ] Summon demons
DC 19 Carstairs apparently has significant knowledge in demonology and can evidently summon demons with a little bit of prep time. Demons could make useful minions and they tend to be physically powerful although you'd have to be wary as not only would revealing that you are working with demons probably turn people against you but demons are notorious for trying to make things worse for everyone who gets involved with them

[ ] Overthrow Qurac
DC 56 Qurac is an unstable middle eastern country with numerous violent insurgent groups attempting to overthrow the government. Sounds like the perfect place to test your weapons and get your forces combat experience. Who knows you may even succeed in taking over the place

[ ] Overthrow Markovia
DC 121 Markovia is a small European country that is absolutely rich in resources. However, it is ruled by a benevolent monarch who is beloved by the people. This monarch is extremely restrictive of outsiders ability to enter the country. Thus, if you want access to all of their resources the monarchy must be toppled. The country has recovered from its turmoil and come out stronger than ever before

[ ] Overthrow Bhutran
DC 33 With the diplomatic incident the prince caused in China before his banishment the country has been in turmoil. Most of its neighbors do not truly care if this small nation were to fall tomorrow. Bhutran does have a gang problem but you can easily solve that and being able to operate so close to China might help you pierce the veil as to what exactly they are doing there

[ ] Conquer Zambesi
DC 149 With the death of Mustapha Maksai the country has devolved into conflict between multiple different warlords. Conquering the country yourself will likely be hard to keep secret and will face significant resistance but if you could have a country all to yourself the benefits might be well worth it.

[ ] Overthrow Biyalia
DC ??? This small country has finally united for the first time in generations. Overthrowing it would return things to the status quo and potentially let you come to dominate the country. You just don't know how effective such plans will be since the country is a virtual unknown

[ ] Attack Nanda Parbat
DC 45 You have learned from the assassins you interrogated that they came from Nanda Parbat. After researching it a little you have learned that Nanda Parbat is a small isolated city in the mountains of Nepal. Attacking the city may get you into a bit of a diplomatic snafu but the opportunity to completely destroy the League of Shadows might be worth it. If you can get the US military to back you up then you the assault should be significantly easier than it would have been if you were alone. You are no longer at war with the League but attacking early could prevent some unfortunate surprises.

[ ] Militarily Aid Black Adam in retaking Khandaq
DC ??? Black Adam is clearly a powerful individual with a multitude of powers. he has proven amenable to allying with you but fully committing to helping him militarily in his goals will earn you many enemies right alongside his gratitude so it's a play you must be very careful in determining if it is worthwhile.

[ ] Combat Training
DC 50 Learning how to fight and further enhancing one's body can only lead to greater and greater successes in future combat operations. Training to improve in a fight can often be brutal but it might be worth it to increase your capability to fight off your attackers (If this option is selected a hero must be assigned to it)

[ ] Build an orbital weapon
DC 26 The space race may be over but the final frontier is still a goldmine of various opportunities. Constructing an orbital weapon will give you firepower that virtually no one else has. You will have to be a bit sneaky in how you describe what you are launching but you are sure you could pull it off

[ ] Build the Lexo-Suit
DC 6 If there is one thing Bruno Manneheim's mechanical monstrosities have taught you it is the value of an elite personal unit. Giving yourself a state of the art battlesuit meant to be better than anything else you'll produce will be expensive but it could give you an important edge when it comes to combat

[ ] Develop a custom battle suit
DC 8 Giving some of your more notable underlings powered armor of their own could help you enhance their combat capabilities. Some people might be harder to build for than others but getting a foot in the door and arming yourself might not be a bad idea.

[ ] Equip your forces with improved weapons
DC 101 Your numerous advances in weapons while semi-unconventional could prove useful for your men. Arming them with your newest tech will increase your forces fighting skills.

[ ] Arm the US Government with your tech
DC 10 The US government has always been a useful partner to have for LexCorp. Selling your new tech to them will keep them heavily invested in LexCorp and will earn you friends beyond just General Eiling. You have no intention of letting the US forget just how important LexCorp is to them. With the revelation of the Rocket Red project you are sure that the US government would appreciate being able to even the odds.

[ ] Create another advanced armor
DC 43 Both you and Pamela have new advanced armor. Perhaps it is necessary to give your other important LexCorp employees access to this armor. While production might be difficult keeping your employees safe from the League of Shadows and other threats is a positive benefit.

[ ] Improve exo-suit user interface
DC 54 Ensuring that the exo-suit is as intuitive to control as possible is necessary if you want to make exo-suits into both the premier weapon of the modern age and a ubiquitous one. As such making these improvements could be a worthwhile investment in the long run

[ ] Improve exo-suit mobility
DC 61 While you've successfully integrated the flight units into the exo-suit there is a great deal of potential for making more adjustments to the suit to increase their mobility. After all mobility is crucial in a fight and by making the exo-suits able to move more effectively you'll make them more potent over all.

[ ] The note 7 special
DC 4 Cell phones are rather ubiquitous and people don't think much of them. However if built the right way cell phones can be rigged as surprisingly powerful explosives. With your genius you could easily come up with a design that would allow you to remotely detonate your cell phones. Sure you might earn some bad publicity from having your exploding phone kill someone but the ability to surreptitiously assassinate someone is too nice to pass up.

[ ] Improve your PMC
DC 25 Your PMC, Serial Peacemaking, is less impressive than you would like it to be. However there is nothing that the proper application of more men and your brilliance cannot solve. As such you can ensure that Serial Peacemaking is the top of the line PMC before unveiling them to the world at large.

[ ] Create a custom fighter jet for Roxanne
DC 27 Roxanne has shown a talent for flying and is more than happy to risk her life. Developing a custom fighter jet for her will not only act as a good reward but will also help her more effectively defend LexCorp

[ ] Kill Cerise
DC ??? Whatever plan Cerise has in mind she can't execute it if she is dead. Killing Cerise might get messy but it will ensure that things won't go her way no matter what happens

Diplomacy: Of course bending others to your will need not occur through violence. Far more often it is easier to bend others to your will by earning the loyalty of key individuals or having the majority browbeat dissidents into silence. While you've earned enemies over the years, you have more friends and allies then ever and it is quite likely that through them your control shall grow ever outwards. You are not dangerous because you can kill others, but because you can have others kill on your behalf
[ ] Meet with the League of Shadows
DC 14 With your trip to Gotham you have already improved relations with Ra's al Ghul. While the man might still be somewhat hesitant to formally ally himself with you he is willing to meet and speak with you. All that put aside the man owes you a favor of equal value to the one you performed for him. Working with Ra's could continue to prove profitable even if it does somewhat carry some inherent challenges.

[ ] Meet with Talia al Ghul
DC 9 From the little time you spent in Gotham, most of it was with Talia and you genuinely did enjoy her company and vice versa. Meeting with her personally will allow you to further foster this sense of friendship and potentially gain a major ally within the League of Shadows

[ ] Meet with Count Vertigo
DC 10 The alliance you have with Count Vertigo is quite useful and he could provide you with immensely useful data and resources. Meeting with him should ensure that you are all kept on the same page

[ ] Meet with Bane
DC 21 The president of Santa Prisca is in actuality a brutal dictator but he has proven a useful ally in the past. Staying on speaking terms with him could prove quite effective for cultivating things in the long run especially if he has picked up any interesting Intergang tech.

[ ] Meet with Black Adam
DC 53 Black Adam is an incredibly powerful individual whom Roxanne encountered in Khandaq. His powers seem to be magical in nature and he seems strong enough to rival Superman. As his first contact with the modern world speaking with Black Adam now could prove integral to manipulating him to do as you wish.

[ ] Donate to the public
DC 35 Everyone loves a good charity event and you've got the resources to spare to donate to the cause of your choice. When the public adores you the masses will be easy to lead in whichever direction you want them to go. An empire lives and dies by its people and your empire will be the greatest of all time. People are currently quite happy with your actions. At this point donating the same amount would only have diminishing returns making it much harder to increase your public image

[ ] Donate to Gotham University
DC 10 Gotham University is an institution which will perpetually be swayed by more money. Getting your fingers in that pie might prove worth it and Dr. Long has shown a willingness to give more to you if you gave the university money

[ ] Donate to the police
DC 16 The police are now effectively in your pocket and on your payroll. Still keeping them happier can only help you when it comes time to eventually make use of the police. As such further donations can keep palms greased and people happy. In the wake of an event as intense as the attack on Metropolis was it might be worth it to further invest in the police

[ ] Have the police publicly endorse you
DC 0 (roll determines how effective the endorsement is) People tend to trust the police as figures of authority and justice. By having the various police who now work underneath you endorse you and your plans you can improve your reputation even further and make those who would challenge you look like fools.

[ ] Donate to the DOMA
DC 25 The DOMA is the successor to the DEO and is certainly less averse to working with you. The proper application of money in the right spots might see this fledgeling organization becoming even more dependent on you and secure you a government agency in your back pocket.

[ ] Donate to guns rights groups
DC 9 The move might be controversial but the damage to Metropolis has created climate in which people want to own guns. Selling your weapons and donating them to guns rights activists will help get them to support you in turn even if such a move may alienate more liberal individuals.

[ ] Give a gift
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the gift) Rewarding others can oftentimes benefit you in turn. Making sure others know you appreciate them will help ensure their loyalty and will bind them closer to you.

[ ] Not a Bribe
DC 10 There are many unelected positions in America that provides large amount of sway over government policy and purchases. It wouldn't be inappropriate to arrange few private lunches with generals, bureaucrats, and scientists here and there to voice the interests of the business world namely your own

[ ] Push for more green legislature
DC 25 With the public now on your side there is more pressure than ever on congress to make laws to protect the environment. Pushing for these laws now will capitalize on the wave of publicity this issue has gotten and will likely earn you respect from Pamela and Mari. With Pamela as the current head of the EPA it is easier then ever to start pushing such changes through.

[ ] Meet with the president
DC 44 With every switch in regime comes an opportunity for outsiders to gain power. Meeting with the newly elected president of the United States will give you an opportunity to push your own agenda and find allies on capitol hill

[ ] Meet with Senator Creed Philips
DC 22 General Eiling has asked you to back this man. Speaking with him face to face should help you gain a better understanding of the man. After all if he is going to be using your money you want to make sure you are getting your money's worth.

[ ] Meet with Senator Bradley Covington
DC 28 Senator Covington is a fairly busy person but considering you have financially backed him and that Eiling is interested in retaining his support perhaps it is in your own best interest to ensure you can meet with him face to face. After all if you are bankrolling him you might as well see what he is worth.

[ ] Meet with General Hardcastle
DC 13 General Hardcastle is without a doubt an incompetent individual who owes his career to you after his failure with keeping Volcana properly under wraps. however that makes him vastly indebted to you and you can now collect what he owes you. It might be nice to have an army general directly under your thumb

[ ] Meet with Volcana
DC 28 Volcana is a powerful metahuman who is at the center of a massive potential scandal. As such meeting with her and speaking about things could potentially net you an ally who'd end up being utterly dependent on you and thus easily controllable

[ ] Offer to consult with the US government
DC 18 With the revelations of the existence of the Rocket Red program the US has been attempting to match their Cold War rival. Russia did not make use of your expertise. However the American government is likely more than happy to do so.

[ ] Speak with Lucas Fox
DC 66 Speaking with the boy whose college degree you've agreed to fund should be an easy matter. The boy ultimately convinced Lucius to take your deal despite both of their distrust of your sudden generosity. With enough time you could slowly turn him to your side and maybe use him as a hook to get Lucius to jump ships and work at LexCorp. However if the situation in Gotham is indicative of how things are heading he's not likely to jump ship anytime soon if he still hasn't left

[ ] Speak with Lucius Fox
DC 169 On the other hand you could always speak to Lucius directly. It'll be hard to convince the man of anything considering he doesn't particularly trust you and is rather set in his ways but perhaps a personal meeting might work in your favor. Stealing one of Wayne Enterprises most brilliant workers out from under their noses during your last collaboration probably hasn't earned you too many points with him though. With the recent success of Wayne Enterprises Lucius is less likely than ever to want to meet with you. Furthermore he seemed very content with recent developments in Wayne Enterprises when last you saw him

[ ] Have a meeting with Vicki Vale
DC 43 Vicki Vale has written an article to your specifications and has proven to be a worthwhile investment for you. Perhaps giving her more information would help secure her as an asset and gain you more positive goodwill. You've already met with her recently but perhaps meeting with her again could prove beneficial.

[ ] Meet with Oswald Cobblepot
DC 10 Oswald Cobblepot is an unpleasant individual but one who has proven quite useful to know. Oswald's earned a lot of good favor with both you and the US government as of late thanks to his recent actions and the US government has given you permission to sell him up to ten exo-suits so long as they are not the S.T.R.I.P.E. suits. Meeting with Oswald could prove quite the boon in the long run and the man is eager enough to have your approval that you are sure that while the dealings won't be pleasant they will be profitable

[ ] Speak with Selina Kyle
DC 21 Selina Kyle is the leader of the Menagerie and is currently involved in several deals with you. Talking to her more could net you extra arrangements or make sure you are all aware of the others moves

[ ] Meet with the Queens
DC 49 You didn't attend Oliver's party but meeting with the family after the death of Robert Queen should allow you to gauge where they are. Oliver Queen has now returned home. Who knows what opportunities might arise from meeting with the unbalanced billionaire, but whatever they are you are sure they can be made to benefit yourself

[ ] Meet with Dinah Drake Lance in Star City
DC 12 As a part of the JSA Dinah drake can provide you with invaluable insight into superpowered individuals throughout history and clue you into the network as a whole. On top of that if there is a correlation between genetics and the development of meta-human powers then it might be worth speaking to her children and grandchildren as well.

[ ] Meet with Al Pratt
DC 47 As the member who had the most issues with the JSA and as the only one who was imprisoned by the DEO Al Pratt has some valuable information as to how the community became what it is today. The trouble is the man has become rather paranoid and while his location is listed as living in Ivy Town the man refuses to speak about his past.

[ ] Meet with Charles McNider

[ ] Meet with Seth Aiden
DC 18 Seth Aiden is a mysterious individual who is likely closely related to the Red Inferno robot you were tracking down. Speaking to him could potentially clarify a lot of things on your end.

[ ] Attempt to recruit Grant Wilson
DC 70 The other child of Slade Wilson could prove a useful asset to collect. True you already have Rose who can fulfill most of the functions you'd need but some contingencies and extras never hurt anyone

[ ] Create your own political party
DC 45 Historically creating a new political party has not gone too well for American politicians but with your resources and intelligence you are sure that you can use it as a platform to meet like minded people and boost the success of your own campaign

[ ] Run for Public Office
DC ??? (Dependent on who you are running against and what position you are running for. The available positions are Maryland House of Representatives, and Maryland Senate). Picking these options will lock the hero selected for the action into it for a set amount of turns until the new position is elected. Cassandra Cain, Pamela Isley, Rose Wilson, Dr. Moon and Jinx cannot run for any position Leonard Snart and Mick Rory cannot run for president and as a convicted felon can be expelled at any time from office if people vote on it and Mari cannot run for Congress or president) Running for public office might not be the most glamorous thing in the world but the soft power these positions can give you is nothing to sneeze at. You can easily see how subverting these things to your own ends would provide you with massive benefits

[ ] Meet with Roman Sionis
DC ??? You know an act of patricide when you see one and the Sionis' death reeks of one. With Roman Sionis revealed as the enigmatic crime lord Black Mask it might be worth getting his measure. After all having someone in your debt willing to let you acquire things through less than legal means might be worthwhile to your grander designs. however following the violence in Gotham he has disappeared and become far harder to meet as a result. Still the man was able to escape prison effectively and continues to stay uncaught

[ ] Meet with Anthony Rommulus
DC 19 This sportsman has enjoyed working with Lightyear Entertainment. As such perhaps meeting with him will enable you to use his celebrity image to generate more good PR for LexCorp

[ ] Meet with Hudson Pyle
DC 29 Of all of the actors who worked with Oswald Hudson is easily the biggest name. As such his schedule is often busy. However he has stated that he is interested in continuing to work on the Mask of Zorro revival and would like to try and meet with someone to discuss the series going forward.

[ ] Meet with Daphne Dean
DC 23 Daphne Dean has successfully directed her first movie at Lightyear Entertainment has agreed to many deals with you and has formed a sort of friendship with Mari. Potentially meeting her again would help you both keep in touch with her and potentially get even more from her.

[ ] Meet with Amber Joyce
DC 44 This reclusive celebrity has been jokingly referred to as a psychic and has successfully predicted many different things. However she is somewhat reclusive. You have somewhat of a working relationship with her. Meeting her again will help you to confirm whether or not these "psychic powers" of hers are real or not. It sounds ridiculous but in a world where magic is a very real thing you cannot dismiss anything out of hand

[ ] Meet with Chloe Decker
DC 27 Chloe Decker is an actress most famous for starring in many Hollywood action blockbusters. She is however a bit tired of being typecast in the same role over and over again and is looking to branch out in her work. This may be an opportunity for you to gain another ally in the industry who can add prestige and popularity to Lightyear Entertainment

[ ] Meet with Randy Booth
DC 33 Randy Booth is a member of the legendary Easy Company and as such is potentially a good source of PR if you can get him on your side. On top of that the units infamous adventures might actually be more than they seemed at first glance. After all if the JSA were present during world war 2 who's to say the Easy Company didn't encounter anything not written about in the history books

[ ] Meet with Hector Ramirez
DC 11 Hector Ramirez is the star of your new Hercules show. As a lead he is fine and he is a bit outshone by all of his castmates but the man is useful and as a former boxer he knows how to fight. He might prove useful to hire on permanently.

[ ] Meet with Jonathan Lord
DC 28 Jonathan Lord is a relatively well known star who often plays opposite Hudson Pyle. The man is on very good terms with Hudson even if he is not quite as famous. As such he could prove useful to hire full time and would be beneficial to deal with

[ ] Meet with Veronica Cale
DC 13 Veronica Cale is a powerful if somewhat obscure woman in the world of business. However by no means does that mean her talent and skills should be underestimated. Meeting with her and potentially entering into an alliance or a collaboration of some sort could pay off immensely.

[ ] Meet with Garrison Slate
DC 48 It is now clear the Garrison Slate does not like you and as such he will likely be your primary obstacle in obtaining control of STAR Labs. Meeting with him could perhaps provide some kind of pressure to ensure he capitulates to your demands or at the very least is well aware of what he is bringing upon himself by fighting your will.

[ ] Meet with Alan Morris
DC 7 Alan Morris is a rather gullible and easily mislead person but his mind is brilliant and his research into an invisibility suit could prove useful. Meeting with him could nab you his services or at the very least some consultation work from him.

[ ] Meet with Lewis Lang
DC 15 Lewis Lang has apparently published quite the book on Jonah Hex. Speaking to him could set you on the trail of Hex's descendants and potentially net you a decent ally in the professor

[ ] Call the Irons family
DC 29 The Irons family was encountered by Jinx and Mick at Lexpo. They could prove useful contacts to have in the long run.

[ ] Attempt to meet with Baron Delamb
DC 76 Beron Delamb was the noble who housed Whisper in Markovia. While the man is most certainly a pompous fool his experiments with quixium could prove interesting and he could make a useful patsy. You don't trust him as far as you could throw him but opportunity comes in the strangest places

[ ] Contact Bito Wladon
DC 23 Bito Wladon is a revolutionary you encountered in Markovia who has no knowledge of your identity but was interested in selling you his rather novel sonic weaponry. Getting in touch with him could prove quite beneficial to your long term goals and give you a path forward. For all that the man is a fanatic he is a fairly reasonable fanatic whose ire is directed well away from you making him quite the useful contact.

[ ] Offer Lady Vic a loan
DC 8 You have a banking service and Lady Vic has numerous debt problems. You could offer to lend her money at a lower interest rate than what she currently owes the bank of england and have her end up owing you money instead. You can think of worse things than having a world class assassin in your debt.

[ ] Throw a party
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the party). There is a hebrew proverb that roughly translates to "you only know a man when you have seen him in his joy, in his anger and in his cups". Parties bring out all three in people. Throwing a party is an opportunity to rub elbows with the people of your choice and get them to agree with your way of thinking. (Throw a party and Lexpo cannot occur on the same turn)

[ ] Lexpo
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the event) While your last attempt at Lexpo was by no means perfect you certainly benefitted from the increased attention the public gave you. Throwing a similar event once more could prove to be another opportunity to exploit. Even beyond the immediate benefits, what occurred last time proves that a Lexpo can be used to bait out potential enemies

[ ] Have an Oz event
DC 0 (The higher the roll the better the event) Oz has proven to be immensely successful. Thus having the channel host some kind of event or throwing a party involving the movers and shakers of the various shows it is running could prove very useful in the long term for gaining more good PR

[ ] Have a fashion show
DC 0 (The higher the roll the better the event) McCabe Fashions has proven to be quite influential and with its increased size combined with the additional weight provided by LL Fashions you can throw your own event. This event will likely draw out people interested in this field but could also be used as a way to give yourself pretext to go to a specific location to act as a cover while still meeting with people.

[ ] Teach your valuable employees
DC ??? (depends on hero unit selected to teach and be taught and what you want to teach them) Teaching your most valuable employees might end up paying off in the long run. Making Mercy able to complete scientific endeavors or teaching Dr. Isley business management will only make them more useful to you in the long run (This option must have two hero units assigned to it but if successfully completed it will lead to a stat boost in one of the characters given stats)

[ ] Throw a company party
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the party). If you want to help the internal moral of the company a monthly company party might not be a bad idea. Getting your workers to view your company as a sort of extended family buys loyalty and hard work in a way financial compensation just can't quite match.

[ ] Collaborate with a rival company
DC 48 for Stagg Enterprises, DC 7 for S.T.A.R. Labs, 92 for Wayne Enterprises, DC 56 for Kord Communications, DC 84 for Alva Technologies. Sometimes it's better to work with the enemy rather than against them. That said you fully intend to use any information learned to destroy your rivals with later.

[ ] Establish friendly relations with Quarac
DC 82 Quarac doesn't like americans but if you could get into an alliance with the leadership the tumultuous country could serve as an excellent testing ground for your weapons

[ ] Establish friendly relations with Markovia
DC 253 Markovia is incredibly isolationist. Still if you could somehow convince them to give you access to their natural resources it would be a major boon for LexCorp. With the death of the queen King Viktor is now in grief. Perhaps by offering your condolences you can get your foot in the door to reap more rewards.

[ ] Support a warlord in Zambesi
DC 69 Zambesi is currently in chaos. Finding a local warlord you can turn into your proxy should be easy and will allow you to control the country from the shadows if that warlord takes power. The only problem is that you can't get caught supporting them or you may end up facing international scrutiny. (The three warlords with the most power are currently Matthew Bland, Aku Kwesi, and Abraham Attah)

[ ] Establish friendly relationships with Bhutran
DC 38 This is a small country that lives in terror of the nearby China. If you can get passed the fears that working with an American capitalist might draw the ire of China then you can very easily convince Bhutran to work however you want it to.

[ ] Establish friendly relationships with Biyalia
DC 11 With peace for the first time in nearly a century in the country Biyalia would almost certainly be very grateful to have you as a friend. Getting them to work with you might prove very useful and would make you look like a humanitarian

[ ] Buy a sports team
DC 25 Admittedly you don't have much interest in sports but this will make you a more public figure in a positive way and will give you a status symbol to flaunt your rivals with

[ ] Buy art
DC 0 As a man of wealth and taste it is only right that you be able to tastefully display your wealth and taste by buying art and displaying it for all to see. More seriously, art is a very easy way to launder money and diversifying your wealth can only be a good thing especially when arts limited availability only causes the price to spike higher with time.

[ ] Commission art from Julie Madison
DC 3 In your trip to Metropolis you met with Julie Madison who was an interesting individual and an artist as well as a heiress with a large fortune. If you so desire you can essentially raise the price of her art by purchasing it yourself and commissioning work from her, giving you a way to hike up the price of each piece and giving Madison her truly big break potentially getting her on your side.

[ ] Subsume all crime
DC 40 Crime is an inevitability and no man can truly stop it on his own. However by taking control of all crime you can regulate it and make sure it doesn't negatively impact your city. Since there is very little crime right now you can easily arrange the system to go and get things directly under your control

[ ] Create a guideline for crime in Metropolis
DC 23 Currently the criminals in Metropolis aren't very useful to you and actively bring down the city. By establishing a system of benefits for criminals who follow your rules while cracking down on individuals who refuse to cooperate with you can bring the cities criminal element somewhat under control and direct them to more useful purposes.

[ ] Meet with Zatanna
DC 20 Zatanna Zatara is a renowned magician who may or may not be capable of actual magic. From your brief meeting with her in Gotham it has become clear that she clearly knows what she is doing and she was willing to potentially work on retainer as a consultant or put on a show in Metropolis. It might be worthwhile not just for the immediate benefits but also to figure out just what are the limits and capabilities of Zatanna's magic tricks.

[ ] Meet with Leslie Willis
DC 17 Leslie Willis is a popular radio personality who has had her audience grow exponentially in the past year or so. She has become notorious for her acerbic wit and controversial opinions. Leslie is also an out and out detractor of Superman and has repeatedly heckled and insulted him. As such she's become a bit of a leader in the anti-Superman crowd. Meeting with her could provide quite a few opportunities for you

[ ] Recruit skilled criminals
DC 12 The vast majority of criminals are useless to a man such as yourself. However every so often you need people eliminated or companies sabotaged. Recruiting skilled criminals criminals could help fill this need and give you someone to delegate less savory activities and a scapegoat if worst comes to worst

[ ] Recruit talented scientists
DC 65 You've already expanded the amount of key scientists working at LexCorp but more cannot hope. LexCorp can only grow at an exponential rate if constant upkeep and new blood is brought in. There is a slight risk that something might collapse due to the company becoming too bloated in one section with very little results to back it up so far but you're sure you can handle it

[ ] Recruit skilled doctors
DC 66 With the wide amount of people working with you hiring more doctors might prove useful. Many of your more valuable employees have unique circumstances or mindsets that a medical professional may be able to recalibrate into a more productive frame for LexCorp

[ ] Recruit competent assistants
DC 75 It's so hard to find good help. Mercy is a blessing in her competence but she cannot do everything. Finding someone to help fill in the gaps and take care of things you can't personally oversee would help everything run a lot smoother

[ ] Recruit unusual individuals
DC 66 The world is filled with strange and unfathomable things. As such one must always be on the lookout for a rare opportunity. Unique abilities under your leadership could lead humanity into a new golden age.

[ ] Recruit more occultists
DC 67 Rebecca Carstairs has proven that there is some truth to "magic" being a real thing. Finding more people with supernatural abilities and convincing to work for you can only pay off in the long run.

[ ] Recruit from injured veterans
DC 31 There are numerous veterans who would be glad to work for you and have skills LexCorp could make use of. While there is only a small pool who you feel would be truly dedicated to the company there is no sense in just ignoring a resource

[ ] Recruit more programmers
DC 64 With the acquisition of the programmers from Mockridge's business and the formation Lightyear Entertainment's video game sector you are sure that finding more programmers can only help you get a stronger grasp on that industry. They may even be able to give you the insight to finally get computers working

[ ] Recruit entertainers
DC 55 With the formation of Lightyear entertainment it is best that perhaps you hire more people in the entertainment industry to ensure that your company dominates the vacuum Galaxy Communications is sure to leave behind.

[ ] Recruit Managers and Executives
DC 167 Sometimes you need an individual to be able to manage things. While you've certainly got your own hands full, having someone who is skilled in the art of business could enable you to free up more of your time and focus your efforts elsewhere

[ ] Adopt Amy Reinaday
DC 34 Amy Reinaday is a notable metahuman whose powers appear to be utterly exceptional. As an orphan in one of the orphanages you've set up it would be exceptionally easy to move her from one place to another. Having one of your underlings adopt Amy Reinaday would put her directly under your control and would make it easier to get access to her. Adopting her yourself would likely cause a massive hubbub that you don't particularly want to deal with but working with a middle man might be better.

[ ] Make a PR statement
DC ??? (depends on what the message is. A speech vote is rolled if this is selected). Marie Louise Dahl has now become the official LexCorp PR representative. While some of her proposals are outlandish giving a platform to her better ideas might enable her to feel as though she is contributing something to the company and will help ensure that LexCorp doesn't keep the public in the dark

[ ] Start advertising your construction company
DC 21 (DC 15 if Marie Louise Dahl is assigned to this action) Your construction company needs work in order to stay in business. Advertising your services can potentially get you contracts elsewhere. Being able to build more with this company sounds like a good idea to you.

[ ] Look into hiring a new PR representative
DC 46 While Marie is certainly… adequate for the position you always had intended for someone a little more… competent to take the position. Hiring a new PR representative might slight Marie a bit but you are sure you can find work for her elsewhere.

[ ] Give bonuses to employees
DC 0 (the higher the roll the more effective the bonus is) Your employees have done excellent work despite all of the stresses and messes of the past year. Rewarding them will help ensure that everyone knows you reward excellence and hard work in the face of adversity.

[ ] Sell close to home
DC 9 The United States government likes having shiny new toys and LexCorp sells only the best. Sell some of your newest stock to make some money and earn some friends in the military.

[ ] Sell to foreign governments
DC 45 On the other hand we live in a global world. LexCorp can try and make some foreign friends by selling to non-american countries. You'll still make a profit and it will set you up for more relations later on down the line.

[ ] Sell to criminals
DC 15 Selling to criminals is playing the long game. The criminals will be indebted to you for allowing them to compete with the actual authorities and the authorities will need to buy from you in order to keep up and remain able to compete.

[ ] Meet with Albert Michaels
DC ??? Albert Michaels is the head of S.T.A.R. Labs in Metropolis and the man is notoriously enigmatic. That said he's messing with some unusual things and the timing of his vacation coinciding way too neatly with Intergang's attack is very suspicious. Project Atomic Skull has only made him even more suspicious and you might want to make sure to glean more information from him

[ ] Meet with Jenet Klyburn
DC 18 Jenet Klyburn is the second in command of S.T.A.R. labs in Metropolis. Leonard Snart helped save her during the attack on Metropolis and she might be amenable to meeting with one of your workers and discussing things

[ ] Meet with Katherine Lou Faulkner
DC 60 Katherine is a rather meek and antisocial woman but a talented scientist nonetheless. Meeting with her could potentially let you poach her as a recruit for your own company.

[ ] Meet with General Sam Lane
DC 11 General Sam Lane is an important figure in the US military and is Lucy's father. Furthermore the man is a colleague of Eiling's and could prove quite useful in the long run. Getting in contact with him could net you some valuable contracts and contacts. Turning more of Lois' family against her is sure to keep her heavily on the backfoot.

[ ] Schedule an interview with Lois Lane
DC 30 Lois Lane has requested a chance to speak with you. This will give you a chance to put out more statements following your interview with Vicki Vale and it will help you get a bead on just what Lois is up to. Still you aren't sure if you can trust Lois not to twist your words.

[ ] Public speaking tour
DC 15 With the massive shift in the way people communicate thanks to your communications network several prestigious universities and institutions have asked you to give a lecture. There is a slight risk of being attacked while on tour.

[ ] Campaign to get the achievements of one of your workers recognized
DC ??? (dependent on individual and achievement) Your employees have revolutionized the world several times over. While you are quite happy and are deserving of the lions share of the credit it seems wrong to not acknowledge the contributions of others. Campaigning for your workers to receive an award of some kind seems like an excellent way to both acknowledge the contributions of others and earn LexCorp some good PR.

[ ] Call the DOMA
DC 26 While the organization is still fledgling and is only starting to develop you could certainly discuss policy with Agent Prince. Figuring out how the DOMA is going to be shaped can only benefit you in the long run.

[ ] Personally meet with Director Prince
DC 0 (autosuccess) Diana Prince is liable to occasionally drop in to LexCorp tower personally and will be working closely with you in the next few coming years as the world adjusts to having metahumans. Continuing to personally meet with her could continue to foster good will and will get the two of you to stay on the same page

[ ] Hand the DOMA Woodrue's journal
DC 11 Clearly this journal contains a lot of information that might interest the DOMA. While it might be dangerous giving a potentially shady government organization access to the pheromone spray, they'll certainly take care of any potential problems Woodrue might cause you and it would earn you good will with the organization. With the death of Woodrue at Agent Prince's hand you know that they are certainly interested in Woodrue's work. With the proof of the possible replication of these powers they are more interested than ever.

[ ] Consult with the DOMA
DC 48 The DOMA is certainly quite busy right now. While they are still just starting up you are sure that they have some interesting data for you to observe. Solving these puzzles not only will help you foster a good relationship with them but it may also give you access to more secrets.

[ ] Meet with General Eiling
DC 25 The good general is less busy now that he has succeeded in his endeavors. You have a working relationship with the man but establishing closer ties and renegotiating certain things could end up only furthering the advantages you have. With your newfound knowledge of Project Damocles getting in contact with him could be quite useful

[ ] Meet with the Metropolis police force
DC 18 The Metropolis police are now pretty much on your side and Katherine has only proven more effective than ever in getting them to go along with what you want. Further meetings on how things should be allocated could prove quite interesting.

[ ] Meet with Ryan Sovereign
DC 4 As the head of the SCU Ryan is an important man whose policies will shape the future of your city. Making sure that he understands what you want and how to work with you rather than against you will be key in making vouching for him a worthwhile investment

[ ] Promote the SCU
DC 0 (The bigger the number the greater the success) The SCU is a response to supercriminals that doesn't require Superman. Marketing and selling them as the authority people should follow and listen to is not only useful in denying the alien a resource and free PR but it also might help you further enforce your control

[ ] Head to the Oblivion Bar
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the options of who you can meet there are) Rebecca has detected the presence of a hidden bar filled with magic users. Meeting the various mystical forces out there in the world seems like a good step in the right direction to ensuring that everything works out properly.

[ ] Write an autobiography
DC 60 Writing an autobiography can help catapult you into celebrity status. Naturally you'd have to make sure it is tailored for public consumption but it shouldn't be too hard to make your rise to the top palatable for the everyman.

[ ] Take a vacation
DC 0 (the higher the roll the more you can encounter on vacation)
Life is busy. While you thrive on the work not everyone can be as productive as you are in the same environment all the time. Perhaps a vacation is in order? Who knows you may even discover something interesting.

[ ] Sculpt your Psychologist's Psyche
DC 24 As Jarrett Parker's replacement, Rene Carpenter is in a prime position to influence LexCorp. Of course LexCorp can influence her right back. Molding her to best suit your purposes is something that could prove immensely effective and by getting to work on it early you can ensure that she fully integrates into the culture in the way you want her to.

[ ] Call Arkham
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the options to speak to will be) There were numerous psychologists at Arkham with whom you at least made inroads. Following up with further conversations could enable you to potentially poach some staff for your own needs.

[ ] Attempt to recruit the Kryptonite Man
DC ??? After Nygma's failure to get the so called Kryptonite man to work with you willingly you may need to give the task to someone better oriented to dealing with people. Having a potential source of near infinite power and a metahuman you can freely study would be quite useful. Now if only Nygma hadn't bungled the first contact.

[ ] Consult on making more Samurai Robots
DC 34 The Japanese government has unveiled an incredible machine known as the Samurai robot. Japan is very interested in potentially getting LexCorp involved in improving upon it and making it better. This could be a way for you to make inroads with their government and earn even more money at the same time.

[ ] Meet with a member of the staff besides Charles McNider at the School for Metahuman youth
DC 0 (auto-success) Getting to know the various educators at the school for metahuman youth could prove quite effective in the long run. After all you are sure that they have some interesting information for you to get involved with.

[ ] Meet with the Flash
DC ??? The Flash is another costumed crime-fighter in a similar vein as Superman although he has a wildly different powerset. Still getting involved might prove worthwhile in the long run for you.

[ ] Have ARGUS arrest Cerise
DC 46 Making this play might potentially force Cerise into a corner and make her desperate but considering that she might be a threat you can make use of ARGUS' expertise to try and take her down. It is their job after all and setting them on her will get rid of your problem in a publicly manageable way

[ ] Call for help dealing with the Cerise situation
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the results) Cerise is certainly an internal problem but you've made many friends and allies over the years. Calling upon the assistance of everyone whom you know who might be relevant towards ensuring things go well would go a long way to potentially dealing with this issue safely and with minimal loss

[ ] Directly confront Cerise over her plans
DC ??? You know Cerise is planning something and you can personally confront her and attempt to work out a diplomatic solution regarding the issue. It might be risky but it could potentially avoid a fight and preserve an asset.

Stewardship: Money makes the world go round is a rather trite statement but one that nonetheless contains an element of truth. Economic power and control is proving to be the kingmaker of the modern world. After all without money one can hardly get anything done nowadays. Of course capitalism encourages you to make ever more money but you've effectively grown too big to fail. While you've played it conservative for now LexCorp can more than hold its own in an economic battlefield and crush any and all who oppose your will.
[ ] Hire more workers
DC 82 There are always more people looking in search of a job and with Ignition's attack you need to replace the workers you've lost. Still having more workers is almost certainly never a bad thing.

[ ] Build a new LexCorp building
DC ??? (dependent on the location the building is being built in.) Expansion is always a good thing as it opens up even more opportunities. Building a building in a new city will let you get your foot in the door for affecting that location. That being said if you build another building as of now you will likely face some complications with being spread too thin

[ ] Invest in small businesses
DC ??? (dependent on city you choose to invest in. Small businesses can only be invested in cities with a LexCorp building). While LexCorp is gigantic and monolithic as a company perhaps you might want to start investing in local businesses as well. After all if you make LexCorp into a part of the community your company will be even further entrenched in the city.

[ ] Hire a private investigator
DC 58 Too many mysteries have cropped up around you that you can't solve due to constantly having to put out fires. Hiring a private investigator to personally look into these things will ease off the workload from you and will allow you to make more informed decisions.

[ ] Build a new public transportation system
DC 32 Creating a new public transportation will not only generate you some goodwill but it will also give you control over how the city moves. The attack on Metropolis has made it easier to begin moving forward with such a proposal

[ ] Rebuild Metropolis
DC 30 While you are unlikely to be able to rebuild all of Metropolis from scratch in a short amount of time, doing so is going to earn you money and goodwill at the same time making it very much a solid and appealing option for you to take. Both you and Superman have already begun to do so and as such backing out now might not be worth it.

[ ] Create a charity
DC 0 (the higher you roll the more successful the charity) Creating a charity not only nets you some positive press but it allows you to more easily move around money and get tax breaks. Creating a charity can help cement your legacy and get others to truly believe that you are a good man

[ ] Create an online storefront
DC 45 You have had yet another revolutionary idea. By creating an online website through which people could purchase things (with LexCorp making a small amount of profit on each transaction) you could easily revolutionize how shopping works. If you include having LexCorp do the delivery then you can be sure people will flock to this idea.

[ ] Develop a ride sharing service
DC 24 Your phones are still new enough that everyone is still talking about them. You can capitalize on the hype by releasing a ride sharing service that will revolutionize how people use transportation.

[ ] Improve banking and payment service on phone
DC 36 Your service has slowly been improving over time. While you have managed to improve the service the user interface is still not very good and your initial lackluster launch has led to not a lot of people getting interested in the service. Perhaps you need to overhaul the whole design in order to get the numbers you were expecting and make this service up to the quality LexCorp usually delivers.

[ ] Create a grant
DC 0 (how high you roll determines how effective the grant is) Money is not an issue for you but it certainly is for many other brilliant minds. By giving others the resources they need you will improve your image and possibly be able to recruit bright minds early.

[ ] Continue funding the Lillian Luthor Foundation
DC 0 (The bigger the roll the more money is effectively contributed) With the existence of your foundation comes a need to keep on contributing to it so that it doesn't collapse in on itself. It's not a significant drain on resources but it is still something that must be done.

[ ] Buy the Daily Planet
DC 149 Control of the media allows you to spin the narrative in your favor. The Daily Planet is a reputable newspaper that is a fixture of Metropolis. If you can control it your image can be effortlessly maintained. Now if only the owners were more willing to sell

[ ] Buy Kord Communications
DC 336 Kord Communications is currently riding high and dominating the computer market. While it is very expensive and the CEO looks to have no interest in selling you are sure you could buy it out and make some of the profit for yourself

[ ] Purchase the Earthmover 1 drill
DC 23 Faulkner has more than proved his drills viability. You can see numerous benefits of being able to easily drill past the earth's crust to more effectively mine things.

[ ] Buy up Quixium
DC 139 Quixium is a newly discovered substance that has bizarre properties. It is currently the next big thing in the scientific community. Purchasing some can ensure that you remain on the cutting edge of science but there is a high demand for the material. STAR Labs has recently bought up a lot of Quixium

[ ] Expand Ferris Aerospace
DC 64 Ferris Aerospace has repeatedly proven to be a wise investment able to make good on their promises. Perhaps expanding the company can lead to even more impressive results. Plus this option would most certainly remind Carol of the benefits of being owned by LexCorp.

[ ] Expand Future Construction
DC 75 There are still plenty of people looking for a job in Metropolis and Future Construction is still relatively new. In the wake of the devastation of Intergang's attack there is more need for Future Construction than ever. Plus with the new head of the company getting involved, more manpower might be just what the company needs to truly reach its fully potential as swiftly as possible

[ ] Expand McCabe Fashions
DC 55 McCabe Fashions has been rapidly expanded due to its success. Still giving a company that's proven to continuously be successful might be worthwhile to keep investing in and encouraging to push further and further in its pursuits.

[ ] Expand Lightyear Entertainment
DC 28 Making Lightyear entertainment even bigger would enable you to tackle more aspects of media. While children's television, video games, and the news are nice to have under your influence you can't help but think how much more impressive Lightyear Entertainment could be.

[ ] Expand LexCorp
DC 39 While LexCorp has been succeeding and has been growing there has been very little increase in the amount of workers working directly under you. You have bought out several companies to expand your company but you have no intention of ignoring your main legacy to support all of the new additions.

[ ] Improve your dedicated lab space
DC 24 While you have your own lab space it isn't anything all that impressive and it certainly isn't capable of doing the science you wished you could with it. This is obviously a mistake that you intend to rectify immediately.

[ ] Improve Pamela Isley's lab space
DC 40 Dr. Isley has access to the standard LexCorp labs which are already state of the art. However as very important LexCorp employee you want to be able to exploit her potential to its fullest. Improving her lab space would only increase the wonders she will make for you

[ ] Improve Karl Helfern's lab space
DC 40 Likewise while Karl has proven to be successful with the standard lab upgrading his lab could give you even more successes on his end since he'll have specialized equipment for his projects

[ ] Improve Pamela Isley and Katherine Kane's living quarters in LexCorp towers
DC 23 Pamela Isely and Katherine Kane have moved in together. As such perhaps it is best to renovate their old quarters to be more suitable to have multiple people living in them. After all rewarding competent loyal individuals will keep them loyal which will only benefit LexCorp.

[ ] Build a containment center for Jinx
DC 123 Jinx's powers are immensely dangerous and while intriguing they can have dangerous consequences. Building a place to contain her will be hard and Jinx most certainly wouldn't like the idea of being contained unless you phrase it very well but you are sure that Carl would be more than happy to be put to the test.

[ ] Build a dedicated living space for Louise Lincoln
DC 56 Louise is a paranoid and suspicious individual. Having her living in a place where you can more effectively monitor and control her would have some beneficial traits and might be able to mitigate some of the nastier parts of her personality by dint of having her interact with far less people. Still it will be tricky figuring out how to sell this idea to Louise.

[ ] Build containment centers for the Royal Flush
DC ??? The Royal Flush are immensely powerful metahumans and while you may have agreed to house them that in no way means you should leave yourself vulnerable to them. Building containment centers will give you a way to shut them down if they go berserk although you'd likely have to construct them in secret for fear of an adverse reaction

[ ] Improve the magic research lab
DC 96 Currently Rebecca's lab is excellent but you can make it even better. This will likely be very costly and tricky to maintain but the benefits of an even better way to research magic could be worth it

[ ] Build a hidden operating room for Dr. Moon
DC 66 Dr. Moon is a thoroughly unpleasant although talented individual. The main problem with him is that you need to keep him thoroughly out of the public eye. As such building a hidden operating room that can double as a laboratory for the doctor could prove to be prudent

[ ] Upgrade the particle collider for Meena Dhawan
DC 30 While you do have the bare bones of a particle collider set up it is significantly subpar and doesn't quite satisfy Meena as is. However some additional upgrades and improvements might turn around her opinion and get her to start to view it in a more positive light. And besides having a better particle collider will also benefit your own research into the more esoteric realms of physics

[ ] Build a Sewer System
DC 15 The construction of sewers is a rather thankless task but it would provide numerous benefits for you. Not only would it generate more income for future construction but it would most certainly give you a lot of of the books places for you to hide things and store materials

[ ] Build a training room
DC 32 Building a room where you can allow your more uniquely skilled individuals to train to their hearts content could prove quite useful. Of course the room would have to be quite advanced and contain numerous traps in order to challenge individuals like Mari, Cassandra, Pamela and Jinx but you are sure you could manage to make something truly impressive

[ ] Build a sports stadium
DC 23 If you want to get your name out while maintaining some anonymity perhaps constructing a sports stadium is the way to go. On top of the benefits buying a sports team would give you it would also get you a lot of public pride as you have paid out of pocket for the facilities in which the home team trains and plays.

[ ] Build a monument
DC 24 Metropolis is your city, what better way to mark that by making a monument to claim it as your own. A monument not only would proclaim your own greatness to the world but would also allow you to hide things in plain sight. Furthermore a monument could be a rallying point after the troubling times Metropolis has gone through recently.

[ ] Build a shopping mall
DC 12 Capitalism is a beautiful thing. Building a shopping mall would allow you to make some money with Future Construction and rent out space to the companies of your choice.

[ ] Build a university
DC 19 Building a university will allow you to gather young minds in one place. Granted you won't be in control of the curriculum but as the founder of the university you will get a good deal of recognition.

[ ] Build a prison
DC 44 Building a prison will enable you to escape it and smuggle things in and out of there if you ever have a need to do so. You don't ever plan on going to prison but having contingencies in place could prove exceptionally useful.

[ ] Build a nightclub
DC 21 Creating a nightclub will allow you to make money and monitor specific scenes. It's a good way to get your ear to the ground and listen in on the conversations of a set subset of people. People tend to run their mouths when they are drunk or having a good time and a well built nightclub does both.

[ ] Build a supermarket
DC 6 A lot of infrastructure in Metropolis was damaged. Creating a place where a lot of people can go and buy essential goods seems like a way to make money and generate goodwill

[ ] Build a Casino
DC 3 People can sometimes have problems with gambling. Making a casino is a way to exploit those kinds of people. Sure Nevada is the only state that has legalized gambling but you are sure you can make some money off of it and aren't afraid to broaden your horizons. This will most certainly earn you some bad reputation with the most morally uptight of individuals but honestly they'd likely hate you anyways.

[ ] Build an animal shelter
DC 6 Very few people think about animals in the wake of a tragedy like the League of Shadows bombing. Creating an animal shelter will allow you to preemptively curb any problems of strays and will provide you easy access to animal test subjects.

[ ] Restore old buildings
DC 21 Make use of your knowledge of architecture to renovate old crumbling houses. After having rebuilt them all you can make a tidy profit off of having others live there. Alternatively you could restore historical sites for the good PR.

[ ] Build a panic room
DC 16 A panic room would give you a place to hide if worst comes to worst and someone breaches LexCorp tower. You run into all sorts of unsavory people in this business and you can never be too prepared. This option would keep you safe even if your tower is somehow breached and an intruder gets past the defenses.

[ ] Build mining operations
DC 10 A chance for you to seize the means of production. By buying up all of the materials you need to make your tech projects you can mess with their pricing and the business synergy is sure to drive up profits

DC 10 By building a conservatory in Louisiana you can begin to preserve any unique plants there while also having a location in which to do more focused botanical research

[ ] Build apartment complexes
DC 4 You can build apartment complexes available to everyone in multiple locations which you have purchased. The development of these locations could allow you to generate goodwill and potentially gain information on unusual tenants.

[ ] Build a lab in Vlatava
DC 14 Count Vertigo has provided you with a relatively remote area in Vlatava where you can set up a lab and begin investigating various things you'd like to keep out of the public eye.

[ ] Contribute resources to the analysis of superhuman powers
DC 0 (however high you roll will give you more options to pick from but you cannot fail on this action) However many resources you donate to figuring out how superhuman powers work Count Vertigo will do his best to match. As such putting money into this endeavor is now twice as effective as it normally would be. With the arrival of Superman figuring out how to make your own metahumans would be best served by doing it as quickly as possible

[ ] Improve Kryptonite mining
DC 78 You have already set up an adequate beginning to your mining operations. Now you can begin to improve them to ensure you have a monopoly before anyone else realizes kryptonite is valuable.

[ ] Improve production facilities
DC 99 By improving your production facilities you can more effectively begin to pump out more products. While you are already fairly state of the art you are sure you can advance things even further.

[ ] Begin production of energy wands
DC 10 The energy wands Rebecca has learned how to make are fairly easily mass produced. However if you get involved with this you most certainly need to keep it on the down low so that the DEO doesn't get involved. With your new production facilities you can quite easily make a large quantity of these wands

[ ] Begin production of submarines
DC 55 Submarines are rather expensive to make but as soon as you increase the facilities you have you'll be able to start making them en mass and sell them as you please

[ ] Begin production and marketing of hovercars
DC 20 As of right now hovercars are little more than an expensive novelty. That being said they are an immensely marketable expensive novelty. Producing and selling this product won't revolutionize any industries or make you massive amounts of money but you can still turn a profit catering to people dying to feel as though they own something futuristic

[ ] Begin production of darkness generators
71 Darkness generators are an immensely useful and interesting gadget but they are difficult and expensive to make. Still having some to make use of could prove quite interesting in the long run.

[ ] Build another space building
DC 34 You can construct yet another building dedicated to ensuring that Ferris Aerospace is able to remain at the top of its industry. It might be a bit redundant and give diminishing returns and the land will be harder to find but you are certain you can keep increasing how advantageous it is.

[ ] Improve your current space building
DC 26 Your current space building is near state of the art but you are certain that if you improve it you can ensure that it is even better and that your dreams of achieving spaceflight will be well handled.

[ ] Fund Barbara Minerva's expedition
DC 29 Barabara Minerva's expedition sounds promising and if you fund it you might be able to collect any of the valuables she gets on this trip for yourself.

[ ] Create combat planes
DC 3 Ferris Aerospace which you have recently acquired and expanded is capable of making state of the art combat planes. Having your company begin producing what they excel at is only good business sense

DC 4 With Ferris Aerospace's expansion into only makes sense to attempt to further corner the market on aviation. It's a simple market for you to break into and it could lead to some rather large rewards later on down the line.

[ ] Design and produce small combat drones
DC 13 not quite planes but using your flight units, animal-like AI and hidden weapons system you can design semi-small autonomous flight drones that can be used for combat. This advance will reduce the amount of lives lost in conflict and naturally secure the safety of yourself and LexCorp to a greater degree

[ ] Design and produce spy drones
DC 37 Using your cell phone network, your animal-like AI and your flight units you can create small drones that take picture and video of certain activities and stream it back to you. These drones can be designed to look and act like birds or bats enabling you to spy on others without being noticed.

[ ] Produce more children's television
DC 98 Under Oswald's supervision Lightyear entertainment's new television channel Oz has proven to be massively successful and has entered into the public consciousness. However if you want to keep that momentum you need to keep on producing content to ensure that it remains relevant. Following a scandal in the production Oswald has demanded to be left in charge of this

[ ] Begin producing video games
DC 24 with the acquisition of the programmers and your own Lex-Phones as a delivery platform you are sure that video games could prove to be quite a lucrative market for you.

[ ] Begin producing more news
DC 48 While you will have to ensure that your news branch of Lightyear entertainment isn't being considered biased being able to freely rewrite the narrative and challenge the Daily Planet's standard of "Truth" could prove very, very useful. What you currently have in place is a little too limited for your liking. You've already started increasing production, pushing for it even more might prove worthwhile

[ ] Begin producing merchandising for "The Curse of the Atomic Skull"
DC 0 (rolls determines how popular the merchandise is) Daphne Dean's directorial debut is not a massive success but it has retained popularity amongst critics and has a cult following. By producing official merchandise for the movie you can make more money and potentially leverage the movie into a different field with more success.

[ ] Build food production facilities
DC 6 While LexCorp doesn't make food itself it does have patents to several genetically modified plants. Because of this LexCorp could easily go into business in this field. By creating these production facilities you will show a willingness to step up to the plate and expand LexCorp in new directions

[ ] Cultivate Gingo fruits
DC 29 Growing more of the rare Gingo fruit will ensure that the supply Nygma gave you will last for quite a long time. After all if the fruit proves useful it would pay off to have a large amount of it.

[ ] Restore damaged environments
DC 20 With your rapid plant growth formula you can restore forests and jungles that were damaged by human hands. Not only will this earn you good will but Pamela will appreciate you doing your best to help save the environment from the excesses of humanity.

[ ] Build another supercomputer
DC 54 (DC 43 if Felicity is assigned) LexCorp has obtained the ability to make supercomputers. Making one for your company's, or your own, private use seems like a smart long term investment. You already have one supercomputer up and running building another one in a different location could prove quite useful for you.

[ ] Build a hospital
DC 40 Taking a move from an old rival of yours (Wayne Enterprises) LexCorp could build a hospital. While you want to make sure it could compete with the Wayne's hospital (a daunting task considering their companies specialization) you are sure it could be done. On top of that a hospital would give you easy access to human test subjects to use for less ethical experiments.

[ ] Build an airport
DC 56 Metropolis already has an airport but you are sure someone somewhere could use another one being built somewhere else. This option would also act as a sort of dry run for the building of various compounds you'll need if your space program ever gets off the ground.

[ ] Build affordable housing
DC 24 Even with the damage to Metropolis repaired there are still many homeless people. Building affordable housing would allow you to make a killing off of this demand for housing and would possibly allow you to get your foot in the door for the real estate business

[ ] Build a museum
DC 36 A museum not only will generate some public good will but it will also give a reason as to why you are transporting certain artifacts. Having plausible deniability for any investigation is good especially considering some mystical artifacts might double as culturally significant artifacts.

[ ] Build a University on your own land
DC 40 With your own vast swaths of land you can now easily construct a private university at any location of your choosing. By building a state of the art place of education you can get first pick at the best minds of tomorrow.

[ ] Build a boarding school
DC 30 Admittedly this is less useful but having access to numerous children of wealthy and influential individuals could prove quite useful in the long run. On top of that it gives you a place to send Cassandra and Jinx to get a more unified education.

[ ] Build an adult learning center
DC 28 Not everyone receives the benefit of a full education due to extenuating circumstances. Building a place where adults can get GED's and take the tests necessary to enter college will not only allow the common man to be educated more easily but it would also give you some positive imagery with the lower class and less fortunate.

[ ] Build your own custom vehicle
DC ??? (Depends on the type of vehicle made. If a car DC 11, if a boat DC 17 and if a plane DC 3) Having your own personal vehicle is an incredibly useful thing if you need to get around. Sure anything you use for yourself is likely too expensive to be brought to market but the numerous features and the convenience of this option still makes it a useful investment

[ ] Go greener
DC 42 You have only further improved with your capabilities to revolutionize the business world. Going greener will not only earn you good publicity and force your rivals to attempt to match you or look like bad people but it will also demonstrate how far ahead your technology is from everyone elses

[ ] Create Vegan meat substitute
DC 10 A rather niche development but a rather safe one that might lead to some interesting results.

[ ] Create farmland
DC 15 LexCorp has slowly begun edging into the food market and Dr. Isley's research has shown the benefit of being able to grow materials for use in your other projects. Purchasing farmland to make your more expensive organic materials yourself might prove useful.

[ ] Compost
DC 28 One man's trash is another man's treasure. Admittedly a rather cliche phrase but with a new composting program you can use other people's trash to grow things that others treasure and thus make more money. Plus this is a good PR move

[ ] Begin producing pheromone spray
DC 54 The pheromone spray is too useful a tool to allow to go to waste. Creating a secret facility to produce the spray for your own use seems like an excellent way to utilize this newfound discovery to its fullest potential. Getting caught however is very dangerous and you might have to explain why you are suddenly importing rare plants. Pamela has demonstrated the effectiveness of the spray so you may want to start making more of it.

[ ] Begin producing combat robots
DC 10 With your factors and the fairly utilitarian design of your first combat robots you can quite easily begin mass producing them on a large scale

[ ] Begin producing decoy robots
DC 21 Producing decoy robots is something best done in secret. Still you certainly have the facilities to do so and having robots to fool would be assassins could prove quite useful

[ ] Begin producing Kryptonite lasers
DC 6 With your newfound methods of creating kryptonite lenses you can easily produce kryptonite based laser weaponry. It's a good opportunity to potentially begin hurting Superman severely

[ ] Begin producing cosmetics
DC 17 (DC 7 if either D'Aramis sister assigned) An area that synergizes well with what McCabe Fashion is already doing, getting into this field will further enable you to profit and influence society.

[ ] Begin producing pharmaceuticals
DC 101 (DC 53 if either D'Aramis sister assigned) Pharmaceuticals is not an area you have much infrastructure for but the D'Aramis sisters do have an idea for a fairly basic unpatented product and even on your own you are sure you can make something. The question is whether it's worth rushing into this.

[ ] Purchase real estate
DC 0 (I'm going to roll a d100 and how good the land you bought is dependent on how high the roll is) Land is always something that is useful to have. When you own the land you can set the rules on what goes down there

[ ] Invest in a startup company
DC 0 (I'm going to roll a d100 and how good the tech company is and how much it benefits from the investment is dependent on how high the roll is) Sometimes startups can surprise you. By buying up interesting startups early you can expand LexCorp and begin to break into new markets

[ ] Create a specialized lab
DC 34 LexCorp's labs are absolutely state of the art. However as of right now the labs are rather generalized. Constructing specialized labs might make it so that your new discoveries come even faster in certain fields.

[ ] Use rapid growth formula to increase speed of testing cycles
DC 12 One of the biggest issues in testing things is going to be the need to wait for multiple rounds of testing to occur. With your rapid growth formula you can speed up the testing cycle for any test involving plants.

[ ] Create shell companies
DC 55 A rather expensive investment and one that is slightly illegal but if successful will allow you to secretly funnel money and materials without anyone else being the wiser. Having more of them will make it easier to hide things

[ ] Create a courier company
DC 78 People need things delivered as the world gets increasingly smaller and the world economy truly starts living up to its name. As such getting in on the ground floor of delivering things not only will allow you more insight into just what people are doing but it will also potentially allow you to make lots of money off of it as well. The problem though is getting such a thing off the ground.

[ ] Develop Jump City
DC 67 Jump City is a city in relative disrepair. Investing into the community will make LexCorp become more firmly entrenched their and will make the location a superior one

[ ] Develop Suicide Slums
DC 61 The Suicide Slums are one of the most run down and poor neighborhoods in all of Metropolis. Improving the location could drop the crime rate and get you some better PR. Since that whole area of the city burned down it is now easier than ever to build something completely new

[ ] Develop Coffin Hill
DC 12 Coffin Hill is a small town out in Massachusetts. As you now own the land you can do with it whatever you please. Developing it could end up generating more money for you and potentially gaining more resources.

[ ] Develop area near Blue Valley Nebraska
DC 6 Blue Valley Nebraska is a tiny rural town. However since you own a lot of the land next to it you can develop that area and hopefully reap some rewards.

[ ] Develop Houston Idaho
DC 3 You admittedly bought Houston Idaho on a whim but you can make some good out of it. Developing it further could give you numerous advantages later on down the line.

[ ] Further develop Vlatava
DC 28 Count Vertigo has given you free reign and essentially a monopoly in his country. As such you can develop it however you see fit. Building up your ally to become dependent on you not only will give you a more useful ally but will also ensure he cannot betray you. You have already begun developing Vlatava but building on it further could prove useful

[ ] Create and sell bulletproof formalwear
DC 16 There is a market amongst the rich and powerful for stylish bulletproof clothes. The market is niche but you could certainly make use of it and your advances in armor make it feasible. You likely won't be able to sell bulletproof clothes to everyone at a reasonable price but you most certainly can sell it to those who can afford it.

[ ] Develop and sell high fashion clothing
DC 68 High fashion clothing is mostly sold towards the wealthy and is stylish and frankly rather expensive. Committing to this area of fashion design will likely earn McCabe Fashion a degree of clout and status although you will make less money than what you would if you sold clothing everyone could afford. This is likely what Mari intended to do when she decided to pay you back by starting a fashion company

[ ] Develop and sell low fashion clothing
DC 2 Low fashion clothing is what the man on the street would buy and wear. Breaking into this market can earn you a lot of money and the material costs are rather low. This will make you a household name but could annoy Mari if she feels you are interfering too much with the business she was given to run

[ ] Attempt to make fashionable Kryptonite jewlery
DC 66 It most certainly is a long shot and would require a good amount of testing but if you can create fashionable kryptonite jewelry and then proliferate it as much as possible then you could potentially spread Superman's weakness to as many points as possible. It's not a bad option to have

[ ] Develop and sell a new police uniform
DC 16 The police could also benefit from a subtle little nudge in how they think. Studies show dressing differently cause people to behave slightly differently as well. Perhaps you could influence how the police thinks in a rather unobtrusive manner. On top of that an improved uniform could help save more lives if it is properly upgraded.

[ ] Develop and produce personalized uniforms for the LexCorp inner circle
DC 34 Mari has offered to make custom uniforms for the higher ups in the company. Taking her up on the offer will give her something to do that directly benefits you and will allow you to keep valuable employees safe and more certain of their positions.

[ ] Develop and produce Costumes
DC 28 The history of the JSA has caught fire in your mind. A paramilitary unit like that was a marketing dream and might very well be the future of personal security with the new developments surfacing in the world. You are not quite sure how to sell it to the world but you feel developing costumes to catch the public's eye and turn individuals into larger than life symbols is necessary. Granted these costumes need to be of the highest expense if they are going to see use in combat against various otherworldly sources but money is no object to someone like you. With the arrival of the so called Superman, there is now a far more practical reason to indulge in such an expense, especially if you want to make your own "superheros"

[ ] Develop and produce disguises
DC 26 Being able to hide your identity is always a good thing. Creating some disguises for your use is a rather covert use for a fashion company but it will allow you to disguise important figures in the LexCorp family.

[ ] Start selling knockoffs of your own products
DC 0 (the higher the roll the more money you make) When a luxury item is desirable selling vast quantities of it ultimately brings down the price for each item individually. However in the world of fashion you can make a mint selling inferior versions of the same product in order to hit mass appeal without diminishing the value of your own products. As such you can get the best of both worlds

[ ] Develop and Produce clothes designed to deal with metahuman powers
DC 68 Metahuman powers are incredibly varied and can have a wide variety of effects on clothes. Creating clothes designed to resist metahuman powers for a child whose skin is constantly combustable or something along those lines not only is good optics but it could make you a mint and synergizes with your DOMA affiliation quite nicely

[ ] Develop and produce Spacesuits
DC 14 If you want to properly explore space what you need to do is first construct suits that will let humans properly survive in the harsh environments that exist outside of earth

[ ] Begin production of nanites
DC 18 Nanotech might be the most important thing you have gained from reverse engineering Intergang's technology. While you have to be careful with how you produce them nanites might just be what allows you to truly push humanity into its glorious destiny.

[ ] Improve LexCorp's services as an ISP
DC 86 (DC 66 if Felicity is assigned) Right now your ISP services have cornered a significant portion of the market and are making you a lot of money as well as allowing you to gather tons of information covertly. However your results could be more impressive. By improving your services you can end up cornering an even bigger part of the market

[ ] Hire Ex-Cons
DC 11 Oftentimes people who are caught breaking the law are utterly unable to get work. This would make them extremely devoted to you if you were to offer them jobs at LexCorp since it would beat every other option they have. On top of that hiring ex-cons may give you good PR and change societal views on certain crimes. Sounds like a win-win-win to you. And you like winning. (Note if this option is selected a sub-vote on the type of ex-con's you hire will occur).

[ ] Renovate your office
DC 14 Your office is what everyone sees when they walk in to meet you. Currently it's not dissimilar from what your father had. It's adequate but for someone as important as yourself more impressive lodgings are needed.

[ ] Buy a house
DC ??? (I'm going to roll a D100 and then that will trigger a list of options which you can then select which each have their own "DC cost" that you can spend the roll to buy). While you may be the face brains and head of LexCorp you are not the company. You need your own private place to live. Finding a suitable place should be easy enough.

[ ] Purchase more Risk Management Firms
DC 84 There are quite a few PI and Risk Management Firms whose job it is to minimize the risk of various investments through pro-active investigation. With the recent attack on LexCorp and the industry disruption that Lex plans on doing, it's not a bad idea to buy the largest and most prestigious of these firms for LexCorp's own use. Thanks to Leonard Snart's efforts you already have three working for you but more could always prove more useful despite diminishing returns being quite possible as well.

[ ] Buy out Sundollars
DC 92 Sundollars is doing remarkably well right now. Perhaps you ought to purchase them before they get to big and make money off of a booming trend.

[ ] Construct servers
DC 26 (DC 6 if Felicity is assigned) Constructing additional servers will allow you to better optimize your phones and will possibly open up other fields like being an internet service provider. More servers means you can handle a larger load of data rushing in all at once

[ ] Construct off the books servers
DC 42 (DC 32 if Felicity is assigned) If LexCorp needs a place to store sensitive data that they most certainly do not want anyone poking around in constructing off the books servers seems like the ideal way to accomplish that task as unlike paper records digital ones can be destroyed with a few keystrokes and no physical evidence.

[ ] Renovate LexCorp Tower
DC 0 (the higher the roll the more stuff you can add and change. Future Construction gives an automatic +10 to the roll. Production facilities give another automatic + 15) Your tower could use some improvements. By modifying the layout and decor of the building you can change how people are affected by the environment. Furthermore renovations would allow you to insert numerous things that previously were not possible to have.

[ ] Improve your social media platform
DC 60 Handshake is still in its fledgling form and while it still has its users expanding its user base is the key to making it more successful. As such an overhaul to the ui and additional features could go a long way to making it a more common part of peoples lives.

[ ] Develop a search engine
DC 66 (46 if Felicity is assigned) The success of Buggle makes launching your own search engine incredibly tempting. You are sure that with the right incentives you can easily surpass your rivals in this department even with their headstart

[ ] Develop an online encyclopedia
DC 35 (DC 15 if Felicity is assigned) Alternatively using your online databases you can create an online repository of information for others to browse. While you likely won't make incredible profits off of this, the ability to control the flow of information is incredibly valuable.

[ ] Begin sustainable logging
DC 33 To continue the momentum of your green initiatives and synergize with Future construction you could potentially begin engaging in sustainable logging.

[ ] Begin production of auto-kitchen
DC 18 Automated assembly is not just useful for production you can introduce a limited version of it into the consumers home in the hopes of making a profit. Revolutionizing things people already do has made LexCorp a lot of money before so you see no reason not to attempt it once more.

[ ] Begin production of Venom
DC 6 The formula given to you by Bane is fairly easy to replicate and could prove quite useful. Venom while a steroid, is not yet a controlled substance in the US. As such you could begin to produce the substance to then sell to others now. If you are really lucky then maybe you'll even be able to sell the Venom back to Bane to make back the money you paid him for the formula.

[ ] Build a Kryptonite power plant
DC 52 With your acquisition of kryptonite it stands to reason you can end up creating power plants that will be the future of your cities energy. With this you can end up reclaiming the glory days when the city was entirely dependent on a Luthor for all of its needs. Metropolis has always been yours this is merely another step to further cement that fact.

[ ] Lead an expedition to find rare plants and animals
DC 56 Dr. Isley has pointed out that there are numerous plants animals that could have beneficial effects that the world has not yet discovered. Leading an expedition to find these things could enable you to have a monopoly on some vastly successful new product. With Nygma's recovery of Gingo fruit you have already seen successes come from investing in this area.

[ ] Pressure S.T.A.R. labs to go in a certain direction
DC ??? By exerting your controlling interest you can guide the future of S.T.A.R. labs however you want to. They are currently working on discovering the properties of Quixium (with which they are making rapid progress) creating Promethium (slowly but surely), a perpetual motion machine (which caused an explosion which damaged the companies reputation) and cloning (with which they have failed to make progress beyond cloning sheep). Recently the branch in Metropolis has begun work on something called "Project Atomic Skull" which could prove interesting.

[ ] Purchase more S.T.A.R. labs stock
DC 70 You already have control of S.T.A.R. labs but you lack the majority to push through all decisions on your own. Buying more stock can quickly solve that problem for you and make the company yours in all but name.

[ ] Attend Miabel Lefebvre's magic item black market
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the available options to buy will be). The discovery of a black market for magic items is an immense discovery since notably almost everyone can make use of magic items. Seeing whats available for purchase could give you a leg up on the competition

[ ] Buy Anthony Gallo's casino
DC 26 You are interested in owning a casino but it is simpler to simply buy one than to build one yourself. Gallo has certainly built one you wouldn't mind owning

[ ] Hire Zatanna to deal with Cerise's runes
DC 34 The billing will likely be exorbitant but you are confident you can get Zatanna on board to undo whatever the runes Cerise has been making. The woman bills herself as a "master of magic" and so she might be able to contribute something to the case

Intrigue: Secrets, spying and sabotage are a necessity to get ahead in life. Your father fell the moment he forgot this fact and became assured of his own invincibility. You have no intention of repeating any of that man's mistakes. As such you don't intend to neglect this element of the world. Nobody will right grand operas about this type of work but if it will allow you control of the future then you could care less. After all history is decided by the winners and you intend to win it all.
[ ] Investigate inside the company
DC 93 You can never be too paranoid. Investigating inside the company would let you root out spies and figure out if anyone is siphoning money away from where it is supposed to go. With the massive influx of new employees it might be best to see if you need to plug any new leaks within the company itself and ensure everyone is on board.

[ ] Investigate Russia
DC 262 Russia has been recruiting as many talented scientists as they possibly can. It is ominous that they are gearing up for something but if you can find out what it is that the country is trying to make then you can develop a countermeasure of some kind. With Noi having fled to Russia and Ignition having ties to the country it may be worthwhile to look into them.

[ ] Investigate Oolong Island
DC 119 Oolong Island is a mysterious place which hasn't even been confirmed to exist. The Chinese government has actively denied the island's existence. Maybe there is some truth to this rumor despite the evidence to the contrary.

[ ] Investigate the rumors of a German powered armor development program
DC 78 There have been whispers of the German government slowly developing their own powered armor program to keep up with the United States and Russia. Looking into this and potentially getting in on the ground floor of this could prove very useful for you

[ ] Bribe Franklin Berkowitz

[ ] Investigate the DEO
DC 254 The DEO was a shadowy government arm that notoriously deals in extranormal affairs. The organization has recently been disbanded in favor of two new organizations. However, the DEO's old files are still immensely relevant to the goings on of the modern day.

[ ] Investigate the DOMA
DC 117 Agent Prince is now the head of the DOMA which has taken over half of the DEO's operations. You are an insider to an extent but you are sure the DOMA is still keeping secrets from you. Snooping around could prove valuable

[ ] Investigate ARGUS
DC ??? ARGUS is another organization that is acting as a successor to the DEO only this time you have no idea what this group does. Finding out information on them is critical as they somehow managed to be even more paranoid and secretive than the DEO.

[ ] Investigate Director Bones
DC 44 You have met with the mysterious head of the DEO. While he hasn't revealed much you can now start looking into who exactly he is to try and get a better understanding of the DEO. Director Bones has officially retired as the director of the DEO and now goes by Mister Bones.

[ ] Investigate Diana Prince
DC 58 On the other hand you could also investigate Diana Prince. This agent is the head of the DOMA which will be replacing the DEO soon. You have since learned that she is an Amazon and has powers that dwarf anything you have seen so far. Being able to learn more about her could prove very useful to you

[ ] Investigate Amanda Waller
DC 72 Amanda Waller is the person in charge of ARGUS. She has a classified history working with the CIA and has a long and storied career of working with the US government but her actual background is well hidden. Getting a read on her could be vital as not only is she a major player she is Director Bones' successor that you were totally unaware of.

[ ] Investigate William Walsh
DC 24 William Walsh is an ex-DEO agent who has apparently gone rogue. Director Prince has warned you that something strange is going on with him. Looking into this more in depth could prove quite useful.

[ ] Attempt to locate Themyscira
DC ??? Alternatively if you don't want to deal with Diana Prince you could try and find the Amazons themselves. You know Themyscira is off the coast of Greece but you are unsure of where specifically and you are aware that there are likely magical safeguards. It would likely be a crapshoot but if it succeeds the result might be well worth it.

[ ] Investigate what happened in Fawcett City
DC 102 Something strange happened in Fawcett city involving the DEO and it may be in your best interest to find out what it is. Solving this mystery could lead to some potentially huge rewards.

[ ] Investigate what Faulkner hit in his demonstration
DC 21 With all of the hubbub over Quixium very few people have noticed that something was off in the tunnel that Faulkner was digging in. The discrepancy didn't pass you by and you intend to figure out what's going on. After all if something as relatively revolutionary as Quixium is left out in the open then what people can't find is likely even more valuable

[ ] Investigate Haly's Circus
DC 22 C.C. Haly refused a generous offer from you which makes you somewhat suspicious of what might be going on especially considering that the circus is somewhat impoverished right now. Something is not adding up and figuring it out could prove interesting.

[ ] Sabotage Haly's Circus
DC 30 C.C. Haly refused a generous offer from you. Making sure his circus suffers and pays for it can ensure that people know better than to refuse you

[ ] Bribe the police
DC 26 You could attempt to directly bribe the police to get them directly on your payroll. This method isn't subtle and some of them might blow the whistle on corruption if you engage in this action. But they already more or less belong to you, this will only make it more literal

[ ] Hide evidence of control of the police
DC 99 There is a trail people could follow to figure out you've got control of the police. Muddying the waters and covering your tracks could help ensure that no one can link you to the police. Still you must be careful that your attempts to hide evidence doesn't create more evidence. The trail is already likely buried but you could bury it even further

[ ] Have the police cause inconveniences for a target of your choosing
DC 18 The police in Metropolis are competent and they in essence answer to you. As such if you want to exert a little pressure you are sure you can convince them to make someone's life miserable. After all people can't scheme against you when they are to bust dealing with parking tickets and other various minor offences

[ ] Have Jade make use of her talents
DC 0 (autosuccess) Jade has been given a place at LexCorp for now and is only allowed to stay while she proves her worth. Considering her talents lie in the realm of intrigue and assassination you might as well put her to work at what she does best.

[ ] Hire Lady Vic for a job
DC 13 Lady Vic as always remains a useful tool for you to have and an effective way to eliminate threats. Making use of her talents once more could prove quite useful for you. You'll have to pay a decent amount of money and do so covertly but she has proven she can get the job done

[ ] Hire Lady Vic on permanently
DC 34 Keeping Lady Vic on permanent retainer might prove costly and you'll have to hide the links between an assassin and you company but she has proven that she is competent and capable and having her in your employ could prove beneficial

[ ] Hire Deathstroke for a job

[ ] Investigate the history of the League of Shadows
DC 79 A group as powerful as the League of Shadows couldn't have sprung up out of nowhere. By investigating the groups past perhaps you can find more clues as to how they organization works, who Ra's al Ghul really is and who the person who framed you could be.

[ ] Investigate Nanda Parbat
DC 64 Nanda Parbat is a small isolated Tibetian city but if what the assassins said about it is true there is much more about it than meets the eye. You intend on finding out as much as you can if you intend to retaliate against the League of Shadows for the attempt on your life.

[ ] Locate the Sword of Fan

DC ??? Nygma has confirmed that Excalibur exists. Finding it would give you a massive amount of power and prestige. However you are sure that finding such a legendary sword will be quite difficult.

[ ] Locate Clarent
DC ??? Less well known but arguably still incredibly valuable is the sword Clarent. Finding Clarent could prove very useful even if it is just to keep it out of others hands.

[ ] Locate the Night Blade
DC ??? Most intriguingly Nygma found mention of a sword called the Night Blade which has no restrictions on who can wield it. Finding such an object would grant you immense power if significantly less acclaim than the other two swords created by Merlin

[ ] Search for hidden artifacts
DC 134 (DC 60 if Nygma assigned) There are clearly many hidden secrets in the world at large buried in the ancient past. Having someone put the clues together and seeking them out could prove a useful venture

[ ] Search for potential psychics
DC ??? Director Prince has made statements that the attack at Lexpo could have been the work of a psychic. As such it might behoove you to now start looking for psychics in the real world. However tracking down genuine psychics will be fairly difficult although you can at least try and narrow down what is and isn't a psychic

[ ] Attempt to enter Azerath
DC 45 Rebecca has discovered an entire magical pocket dimension on the west coast near Jump City. Arriving into the pocket dimension could give you some very interesting insight as to what is going on there and could enable you to better understand magic. Recent evidence has shown that there is a powerful magical barrier protecting the pocket dimension. This means that it is liable to take a great deal of work in order to properly enter it. Ultimately if there is a barrier in place something must be worth keeping away from the world but charging in without any information could prove dangerous

[ ] Investigate Red Tornado
DC 190 A superpowered android that has been around since the sixties is something definitely worth checking out. Unfortunately there has been little trace of the android on public record. If you can locate it or learn more about it you can use this to revolutionize the whole world.

[ ] Locate T.O. Morrow
DC 40 Alternatively you could track down the androids creator and get your information directly from the source. T.O. Morrow is notably paranoid so you'll have to be careful in how you approach him but if you can get him to work for you it will be a very good day for LexCorp indeed. With the newly recovered data that narrows his potential location down to a few places finding him is now much easier

[ ] Investigate the Blackhawk Squadron
DC 456 There were mentions of the government liaison of the JSA, Blackwing, having been the leader of the Blackhawk squadron. As far as you could tell from your research there was no such unit under this name operating for the allies. Something odd is going on and the mystery might be well worth uncovering

[ ] Investigate Ted Grant
DC 177 Ted Grant is a member of the JSA whose current location is not known. Investigating more into his past could reveal valuable data

[ ] Investigate Theodore Knight
DC 62 Theodore Knight retired from the JSA and moved to Opal City. From there he has worked with the DEO but his address is not listed in any sources you could find. It might be worth looking into the Starman

[ ] Investigate Rex Tyler
DC 295 Rex Tyler has completely and utterly vanished from history and you can find no record of his existence past the year 1967. Something must be going on there and if you can get to the bottom of this mystery you might learn of some very valuable secrets.

[ ] Investigate Charles McNider
DC 365 Investigating the first head of the DEO (and allegedly the most paranoid of the bunch) would be a difficult undertaking but if you do it well you can avoid arousing the DEO's suspicion and learn more about both them and the JSA.

[ ] Investigate Adeline Kane and the middle child
DC 96 Adeline Kane has retreated entirely from public life and she took her mute son with her. It is unknown if Joseph Kane has any powers but you want to get to the bottom of this mystery. Investigating what is going on there could give you some critical insight as to what's going on.

[ ] Investigate the Seven Men of Death
DC 101 This group of elite assassins has a rotating membership. The current seven members of the group have been outed by Lois Lane's article. Figuring out more about them could help you deal with them as you'll most likely come into contact with them.

[ ] Investigate David Cain
DC 54 David Cain is one of the high ranking League of Shadows members who was outed by Lois Lane's article. The man shot the agents who came after him but was eventually forced to abandon his daughter. David Cain is a skilled assassin who has apparently been looking for a way to create the perfect warrior. Finding out more about him could be beneficial.

[ ] Investigate David Cain's other children
DC 74 it is likely that David Cain had other children in his attempts to create a super assassin. Finding them could give you more useful easily manipulatable pawns like Cassandra.

[ ] Investigate Lady Shiva
DC 28 Lady Shiva was another member of the League of Shadows outed by Lois Lane's article. Unlike the other members she didn't run once outed with the government hunting her down. Instead Shiva promptly murdered absolutely everyone who came after her with ruthless efficiency before slinking off into some hiding place. People have caught her on video extensively and her martial arts skills are terrifying. Perhaps by researching her you could find some kind of weakness to exploit?

[ ] Investigate the Armless and Legless Master
DC 35 This pair of martial artists were noted by Talia to be quite talented individuals who could potentially teach Cassandra a thing or two. Finding out more about them could give you another asset to use.

[ ] Investigate Natas
DC 48 Natas is a brutal mercenary who specializes in transforming people into deadly warriors. It is unknown what he wants but he can train individuals to rival or exceed the League of Shadows. Learning more about him could help teach you his methodology.

[ ] Investigate the Seven Deadly Brothers
DC 123 Of all of the martial artists Talia mentioned the Seven Deadly Brothers are both the most and the least mythical. The Seven Deadly Brothers are rumored to be supernaturally powerful. Unfortunately they are also in the employ of the Chinese government. Still learning more about them could help ensure that you know what you are dealing with.

[ ] Investigate Richard Dragon
DC 77 Richard Dragon is an incredibly secretive individual. The wandering warrior is considered one of the best martial artists on the planet, able to go toe to toe with Lady Shiva and even win. However his nomadic lifestyle makes him exceptionally hard to find and his independent streak makes him hard to recruit. With a little digging though you are sure you can find a way to convince him to stay in your employ.

[ ] Investigate Baron Delamb
DC 236 Baron Delamb has apparently been engaging in human experimentation. You never actually met the man despite having been thoroughly aware of who he was. Perhaps further investigation is warranted to see what dark secrets you can unearth. It was easy enough to connect him to having harbored Whisper A'Daire so the projects he is keeping secret surely could potentially be even more damning to his character

[ ] Locate Bruno Manneheim
DC ??? Following the attack on Metropolis Bruno Manneheim has vanished. Finding out where he has gone could allow you to prevent a repeat attack from occurring later on down the line

[ ] Locate Macho Gato
DC ??? The other major escapee following the attack, Macho Gato was a complete unknown. Finding out who he is and where he went could help shut down Intergang once and for all

[ ] Locate Thaddeus Romero Hoskins
DC 26 Thaddeus Romero Hoskins is a brilliant individual but one who reacted very poorly to you commenting on his work. Figuring out what he is up to could prevent some unnecessary surprises from cropping up.

[ ] Locate Tobias Whale's blackmail

Finding where he is keeping this and removing any copies of this information from play will help defuse a potential liability that could blow up in your face

If any hero unit discovers you have a blackmail file on them their trust in you will be severely damaged and they will do their best to destroy the file) People often say things that they really shouldn't over the phone. By compiling the best bits of the various things people say over the phone you can create a blackmail file in case you need to coerce someone to do your bidding. Granted people don't like getting blackmailed so if it is discovered you are doing this people might come to distrust and despise you but you can see the contingency as well worth having earned a little scorn.

[ ] Install signal jammers in LexCorp Tower
DC 48 Installing signal jammers would help you hide information and make it harder to infiltrate LexCorp. While it would most likely mess with the ability to call inside of the tower it is a small price to pay for security.

[ ] Install tracking devices in the clothes you are selling
DC 89 Currently McCabe Fashions and LL Fashions can sell a ton of products. Being able to covertly sneak in a few tracking devices to some of your products will allow you to more effectively monitor people. This is something you'd have to hide from both Mari and Lana if you don't want complaints but it could prove quite the opportunity

[ ] Hide the Sword of Beowulf
DC 7 The current hiding place for the Sword of Beowulf is incredibly underwhelming right now. With a little more dedication you are sure you can find a better hiding spot for an artifact like this.

[ ] Terminate an employee
DC ??? (Dependent on the hero unit you attempt to terminate) Unfortunately sometimes people no longer manage to remain worthwhile investments. LexCorp refuses to commit to the sunk-cost fallacy. As such dead weight must be removed from the company. You intend to give your no longer useful employee their final severance package.

[ ] Steal Art
DC 32 You are a man of wealth and taste. However art is subjective and many people would deliberately raise the price on you knowing that you are rich. Stealing art though, enables you to acquire interesting pieces for your collection without paying a cent. If you get caught though things might not be so great.

[ ] Sabotage a rival company
DC 3 for Stagg Enterprises, DC 3 for S.T.A.R. Labs DC 125 for Wayne Enterprises, DC 107 for Kord Communications, DC 64 for Alva Technologies, DC 62 for Queen Industries. Everything is fair play in the corporate world and making sure your rivals can't compete with you through unsavory means is fair play. You're sure everyone else would like to do the same to you. You're just so much better at it than them.

[ ] Purchase controlling stock from a rival company
DC 28 for Stagg Enterprises, 177 for Wayne Enterprises, 99 for Alva Technologies, 68 for Queen Industries. There is no need to sabotage your competition if you simply buy them out. Using your vast wealth you can buy up these companies and turn them to your own ends. It is a fitting end to your opposition for them to only make you stronger.

DC ??? Someone is purchasing STAR Labs stock at an obscene rate. Figuring out who it is and how to stop them could be necessary to ensure you retain the control you currently have over STAR LAbs

[ ] Create a cult of personality
DC 2 Creating a cult of personality around yourself is something you can do to heavily indoctrinate those working under you to comply with your every wish and whim. However those outside of the cult are likely to view you far more suspiciously afterwards.

[ ] Conduct a False Flag operation
DC 70 Serial Peacemaking is an effective tool to use that has now been bloodied by the conflict in Santa Prisca. Now if you so desire you can have them conduct false flag operations to increase the amount of chaos in a place to more effectively exploit a situation as everyone else is misled by your hidden movements.

[ ] Bribe politicians
DC 5 There is a joke that states that the word politics is derived from the latin prefix poly meaning many and ticks a type of bloodsucking insect. Most politicians can be swayed by generous "campaign donations" to write policy favoring you. However there is no guarantee that the motion would pass and it wouldn't be a long term investment since politicians are often facing reelection and so shift their stances to match what they think will keep them in office. They'd need constant reminders that you not the people are what determines their policy making

[ ] Improve surveillance satellite network
DC 63 Your surveillance satellite network is already fairly extensive. By increasing the amount of satellite's you have in the air and varying their focuses you can gain a more complete picture of more things all at once.

[ ] Infiltrate the government
DC 46 The government is one of LexCorp's biggest business partners but they refuse to share much of their intel with you as it is "need to know". Plant spies in their organizations and bugs in their products. That way you'll know exactly what the US government wants to keep in the dark.

[ ] Infiltrate Santa Prisca
DC ??? With all the chaos going on right now it would be quite easy to slip an agent into the war torn country to make sure that Vincent Edge doesn't make it out alive again. You've learned from your infiltration of Markovia and thus now know how to better tackle this kind of operation.

[ ] Create a worldwide spy network
DC 72 LexCorp is rather in the dark about the internal affairs of countries outside of the US. While you do get the big news you still are unaware of what lies in the dark. This will not stand. Establishing an international spy network will help fill you in on details you otherwise wouldn't have been aware of

[ ] Investigate the vanishing Lex-Phone
DC 36 One of your Lex-Phones in Central City has been sending bizarre signals as apparently it vanishes from one side of the city to the next. Investigating this strange phenomena could yield some pretty interesting results.

[ ] Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
DC 55 Hiring a skilled mercenary team will allow you to carry out covert operations more easily. However they will charge more money the harder the job is and you don't expect mercenaries to stick around to get the job done. Hiring mercenaries does give you a level of plausible deniability when conducting these covert operations

[ ] Run background checks
DC ??? (DC 10 for Pamela Isley, DC 12 for Lois and Lucy Lane, DC 32 for Ivo, DC 16 for Katherine Kane, DC ??? for Cerise Orielle) Information is important. Not knowing your employees history almost cost you in your interview with Lois. While it didn't this time you want to avoid making the same mistake twice. A simple background check can verify if a person is on the level.

[ ] Investigate Intergang

[ ] Investigate the Ultra-Humanite
DC ??? Just who the Ultra-Humanite is, is an utter unknown but his technology is absolutely miraculous. [ ] Investigate Avruskin
DC ??? You don't know who this Avruskin is but this man is Ignition's superior and operates independent of Intergang. While you know he is a Polkolistan national you don't know much more than that. Finding out just what kind of man is pulling Ignition's strings could be the difference between life and death. Considering what he is scheming and that his machinations have affected the whole world it would pay to be aware of your enemies

[ ] Steal Clement Tyme's body of work
DC 27 Dr. Tyme has disappeared in the chaos of the events in Gotham. All that being said his comments to Talia were interesting and potentially worth following up on. While the man himself likely won't be found for a while his research could point you in the right direction

[ ] Hack into government records
DC ??? The US government clearly has a lot of interesting data they are hiding from the public. Perhaps you ought to figure out just what they are up to

[ ] Hack into a rival companies records
DC ??? Likewise it is never good to underestimate your opponents. Breaking into their records will enable you to gain some valuable information to give you a leg up on the competition

[ ] Improve cyber security defenses
DC 176 (DC 88 if Felicity or Nygma are assigned to the action) LexCorp's cyber-security has been vastly improved from what it was before. However you undoubtedly can make it even better. After all additional defenses against digital encroachment might be just what you need to stay ahead in the modern age.

DC 42 Lasers can effectively be used to disrupt missile fire. Having this countermeasure in place will make your buildings more secure and will be a major market for the military to buy into

[ ] Develop Melting Weapons
DC 33 Honestly this just seems like an interesting project to get started on. This sort of weaponry would undoubtedly violate the Geneva convention but you are sure the government or even your own forces would appreciate having this in their back pocket.

[ ] Improve Cryo-Bombs
DC 45 The cryo-grenades you've recently created while currently somewhat crude could prove an interesting avenue to go down. Improving them could yield some impressive rewards.

[ ] Investigate lost civilizations
DC ??? Perhaps there is some element of truth to most myths out there. Sending Nygma out to look for these legends will keep him out of your hair and will keep him occupied while potentially giving you a very valuable resource.

[ ] Study Mythology
DC 16 Normally you'd have dismissed mythology as stories made up by primitive people that got proved as outdated and incorrect but with the existence of magic you have to reconsider that stance. Perhaps there is some small element of truth to these tales. Either way researching mythology certainly can't hurt. With your new knowledge that confirms the existence of the Greek Pantheon finding out what is and isn't true should be easier than ever

[ ] Learn about the Sword of Beowulf
DC 100 Despite Rebecca's research into the matter, things about this magical artifact just don't add up. A little more research into the subject certainly wouldn't hurt.

[ ] Learn about the Sword of Fan
DC 67 Ra's story about the sword of Fan was certainly interesting but you'd like to have something a little more conclusive than a legend to understand what the artifact does.

[ ] Learn about the Green
DC ??? There is some strange force in the universe that seems to facilitate chlorokinesis. You don't know what it is but investigating it further can help you figure out what is going on with that. Discovering a new fundamental force of the universe would shatter traditional understanding of our world. Pamela has proven that humans can interact with this force and confirmed that it exists beyond all reasonable doubt.

[ ] Use the perfected human plant integration
DC ??? (It is different for every character who can do so. DC 45 for Karl DC 30 for Roxy, DC 70 for Cassandra, DC 123 for Mercy, DC 221 for Carol. If no hero is assigned then a random employee will become the user and the DC will be 90) The perfected formula is a breakthrough in transhumanism. It will allow you to create powered individuals to serve as the vanguard for the new era. Pamela in particular has expressed a willingness to evolve into something beyond the boundaries of human. While you can't undergo the procedure yourself there are plenty of individuals in LexCorp who could use the boost

[ ] Attempt to reverse engineer the Super-Tank captured in Markovia
DC ??? You have captured a tank that seems to be using highly advanced potentially alien technology to improve its offensive capabilities. Reverse engineering it can allow you to take these advancements for yourself.

[ ] Study the Royal Flush's powers
DC ??? The Royal Flush are immensely powerful metahumans you have at your fingertips and best of all they are somehow artificially created or enhanced. Figuring out Amos Fortune's work could prove absolutely groundbreaking

[ ] Study Woodrue's remains
DC ??? Woodrue's remains behave absolutely bizarrely as they seem to still retain some semblance of life. Studying the samples Agent Prince sent you could yield interesting results and prevent unfortunate surprises.

[ ] Test Venom compatibility
DC ??? (Human-Plant Integration formula DC ???, Bone growth formula DC ???, conventional steroids DC ???, Whisper's Corpse DC ???, Gingo fruit juice DC ???) Venom is an interesting substance that could potentially be combined with other substances to generate interesting effects.

[ ] Develop a Cold Engine
DC 250 (Assigning Louise to this action reduces the DC by 30 and assigning Caitlin to this action reduces the DC by 10) Louise's work on the development of a theoretical engine that derives power by draining ambient heat is an interesting prospect and is what she is most interested in getting done. As such getting to work on this project could prove to be very beneficial in the long term (This action must be completed 12 times before the rewards from it properly come about).

[ ] Let Dr. Moon experiment on the captives
DC 0 (the higher the roll the more useful the result) Dr. Moon has recently captured a good amount of Intergang thugs disconnected from the attack. Perhaps it is worth indulging the doctors curiosity as a reward for his service.

[ ] Refine the Bone Growth formula upon the captured Intergang thugs
DC 78 Karl has been refining his Bone Growth formula continuously but without human subjects he can only go so far. With the arrival of new disposable human subjects you can perhaps begin to make even more progress in the formula.

[ ] Attempt to develop a magical counter for whatever Cerise is planning
DC ??? Cerise is clearly planning something magical in nature. Developing a counter to it then must be possible but it will be immensely difficult to nearly impossible so long as you are operating off of incomplete information

[ ] Write-in
All write-ins are subject to QM approval. Upon being approved the option will be sorted into a category and given a DC. It will then be inserted into the options for this vote and the next few votes going forward. On top of that successful write-ins will give 100 exp which can be donated to any stat.

-[ ] Doubling down
You can burn one action to double down on an existing action. Doubling down means I will roll two dice. If the second roll is higher than the first I will take the average of the two and that will become the new roll.

[ ] Arrange a secret attack on Superman (Martial: Guaranteed Reduction by 1)
DC ??? Getting someone to attack the big blue buffoon on your orders is childs play and there is something viscerally satisfying about tearing him down through strength. Unfortunately you have to be careful not to get things tied back to you and you have no idea what his combat capabilities are so taking him on headfirst might be detrimental

[ ] Attempt to tire out Superman by causing him too many problems to deal with (Martial: Guaranteed reduction by 5)
DC 55 Not even Superman can be everywhere at once. Causing many, many problems for him to deal with and never giving him a moments rest could let you drive the alien to his limits. Plus if he does fail to deal with one of the problems you made you can use that to smear him and claim good publicity for yourself when you solve the problem

[ ] Build a superweapon to destroy Superman (Martial)
DC ??? You have no idea what the capabilities of the alien truly are but with all of your vast amounts of technology and magic you are sure you can come up with something to permanently put him down. Emmett Vale's superweapon seems to be a step in the right direction

[ ] Reprogram all automated defense systems you have access to, so they target Superman (Martial)
DC 78 Being able to constantly cause problems for Superman and make him unable to show his face in public due to a "glitch" with the weapons systems is entertaining but it could easily lead to complications for you down the line.

[ ] Have Cassandra study Superman's micro-expressions and body language (Martial)
DC 14 Cassandra has stated that Superman reads odd to her and as utterly inhuman. That being said her abilities with reading bodies could prove quite useful here. If Cassandra can learn to construct a new "language" comprised of Superman's tells when fighting then you will be one step closer to figuring out how to fight him effectively

[ ] Attempt to assassinate Superman (Martial)
DC ??? With the creation of various Kryptonite based weaponry it would be child's play to have one of your employees attempt to kill Superman. You'd have to come up with a more concrete plan to maintain at least some level of deniability but it always remains an appealing option.

[ ] Install systems that spray Kryptonite aerosol whenever they see Superman all across the city (Martial)
DC 92 The delivery system for Kryptonite aerosols are simple enough that you could easily implant and install them throughout the city, laying the ground work to potentially choke the life out of Superman if he ever comes too close.

[ ] Lure Superman into a building designed as a trap (Martial)
DC 44 There are plenty of locations that could become death traps for Superman, especially now that you know his weakness to Kryptonite. Setting up an attempt to kill him could let you test his limits and see just how far you have to go to get the job done.

[ ] Lure Superman into a building belonging and then attempt to destroy both (Martial)
DC 117 A variation on the previous idea by attempting to destroy both the building and Superman at the same time, you can potentially frame Superman for the property damage even if he survives the initial attempt to kill him.

[ ] Attempt to entrap Superman in questions about the universe at large (Diplomacy)
DC 35 Superman has claimed to be an alien. Hopefully by asking him some pointed questions about the state of the universe you can push him into saying something that might hurt his reputation in the long run.

[ ] Push for laws meant to restrict Superman and other individuals like him (Diplomacy)
DC 64 As it is right now Superman has far, far too much power. You need to start taking it away from him as soon as possible. By introducing laws designed to restrict what he can and can't do and foisting more obligations onto him you can take control of the situation and prevent him from getting too much power before it is too late

[ ] Make use of your SCU contacts and control to interfere with Superman as much as possible (Diplomacy)
DC 17 While you can't officially have the SCU arrest Superman you can certainly have them make his life difficult and attempt to prevent him from engaging in any more "heroics" when they are on the scene. Forcing Superman into a situation where the authorities are not his friend could prove quite useful in seeing how much pressure Superman can take before he snaps

[ ] Begin a campaign to paint Superman in a negative light (Diplomacy)
DC ??? While there is no guarantee of success turning the media against Superman is a decent way to start turning public opinion. While you can't control the Daily Planet you have more than enough resources to start getting the ball rolling

[ ] Make faulty Superman toys (Stewardship: Guaranteed reduction by 5)
DC 20 This is admittedly petty but making toys of Superman using lead paint and other hazardous material to hurt children and get a negative association on Superman started is relatively minor but if you use your shell company right it's also fairly easy and would let you mock the alien without getting caught yourself.

[ ] Push setting up the official line of communication with Superman (Stewardship)
DC ??? This plan is admittedly a little ambitious but if you can get the official way to contact Superman to be built by LexCorp then you can use it to mislead Superman and cause him to make more mistakes tarnishing his public image. It's a longshot and is dependent on if an official way to communicate is even set up but it might be worth a shot

[ ] Hire Clayface to have a confrontation with Superman (Stewardship: Guaranteed reduction by 15)
DC 216 While it would be hard for you to get into contact with him and keep it so that the world is unaware of your machinations, you could always pay Clayface to try to kill Superman so you have a better understanding of what you're up against. Such a flashy fight is right up Karlo's alley and potentially could even help you get rid of Superman once and for all.

[ ] Hire a criminal to attempt to kill Superman (Stewardship: Guaranteed reduction of 3)
DC ??? It's rather simple to hire someone else to use Kryptonite weaponry to attempt to kill Superman. Your attempt is likely to go far better than Vale's but you still have to be careful to ensure that everything goes right.

[ ] Hire a criminal to create a scandal around Superman (Stewardship)
DC 200 It is likely to be immensely tricky but hiring a criminal to cause a scandal involving Superman's use of force or getting him to violate privacy laws is an option you have. Its likely to be immensely tricky but hopefully you can get it to work.

[ ] Attempt to dose Superman with the pheromone spray (Intrigue)
DC ??? If you can figure out some scenario in which you get close enough to Superman to dose him with pheromones you can potentially take control of this superhuman entity. Once you've got such precise control over him it would be child's play to either make use of him or dispose of him

[ ] Dose Lois with the pheromone spray to cause problems for Superman (Intrigue)
DC ??? Lois Lane is so far the only human being Superman has stayed in contact with for an extended period of time. As such it is likely that he'll head back to her again. Leaving some subtle psychological compulsions in miss Lane's head might cause Superman more problems later on down the line and enable you to bring him down when he least expects it

[ ] Dose random citizens with the pheromone spray and compel them to commit suicide and blame Superman for it (Intrigue)
DC 94 (DC 66 if Pamela Isley is assigned) Superman claims to be some great moral bastion of humanity. If that is the case then it only makes sense to target his empathy. Making him feel guilty over inspiring people to commit suicide can hopefully break his spirit and cause him to doubt himself at a critical moment but if not then you can at least have the satisfaction of knowing you hurt him.

[ ] Free Toyman from prison and covertly give him resources to cause problems for Superman (Intrigue)
DC 50 There is a reason why the saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" has persisted despite its inaccuracy. In this case making use of Toyman to attack Superman indirectly and probe at his weaknesses might just be worthwhile

[ ] Covertly give resources to Metallo so he can kill Superman (Intrigue)
DC 74 So far Metallo has proven to be the most successful at actually hurting Superman. Giving him more resources to try again and potentially succeed in actually killing him could be worthwhile.

[ ] Covertly leak information on Superman to the world at large (Intrigue)
DC 2 With your own knowledge of Superman it would be child's play to anonymously leak his weakness to kryptonite to the whole world

[ ] Covertly leak information on Superman to extremists (Intrigue)
DC 57 It would be significantly trickier to leak this information to just some paranoid fringe group but if you can motivate another person like Emmett Vale into acting without getting caught then you'll have successfully accomplished the aim of this activity

[ ] Use your control over STAR Labs to acquire biological samples of Superman (Intrigue)
DC 28 You are the majority shareholder in STAR Labs but this is not a well known fact. As such you can pressure STAR Labs to repeatedly ask for biological samples from Superman so they could help him if he gets injured or sick. Then once you've acquired those samples you can have LexCorp pilfer a few for your own private study

[ ] Splice recordings of Superman's voice to frame him for things (Intrigue)
DC 63 Image is everything. If you can tarnish Superman's image then you can open up dozens of avenues for attack. By obtaining recordings of Superman's voice you can potentially splice together a reasonable facsimile of his voice and then use that to destroy his image through "phone calls from Superman"

[ ] Study footage of Superman to try and find his weaknesses (Learning)
DC ??? Every being has some kind of weakness. Perhaps by studying Superman's appearances you can find one of his which you can then mercilessly exploit. The footage of the attack on him by John Corben could prove very interesting

[ ] Unleash demons (Learning: Rebecca or Cerise must be assigned to this action)
DC 44 Magic interacts oddly with things. However all that being said you have no idea how it interacts with Superman. Unleashing a few demons to rampage across Metropolis and gather some data for you might well be worth it so long as you can pass it off as someone else doing it

[ ] Analyze Emmett Vale's Superweapon (Learning: Lex or Meena must be assigned to this action)
DC 16 Whatever caused Emmett Vale's superweapon to hurt Superman is worth looking into. Figuring out both the flaws that made it backfire as well as how it hurt Superman in the first place could be the key to finally getting rid of the blue buffoon

[ ] See if Ace's powers can affect Superman (Learning: Lex must be assigned to this action and Ace cannot take an action)
DC 333 It's immensely risky but you know that Ace's powers managed to affect almost every animal with a spine. If they also work on Superman then you can reduce him to a braindead vegetable through her. That being said finding a way to get Ace to use her powers on Superman that won't immediately backfire on you or cause more complications than it solves is difficult making this plan a longshot if it's to even be used at all

[ ] See if Superman resists radiation (Learning)
DC 42 Superman hasn't shown any limits to what kind of radiation he can take. Perhaps radioactive materials can harm the alien. Setting up a situation in which you force Superman to enter an area with dangerous radioactive materials could prove quite effective

[ ] Build a statue made out of Kryptonite in Superman's "honor" (Diplomacy)
DC 22 (guaranteed nemesis gauge reduction by 10, guaranteed to earn some degree of enmity from Superman) Knowing that Superman is weak to Kryptonite enables you to engage in so much more actions against him. This scheme is ultimately smug and petty but this private little insult directed towards Superman for which he'll have to thank you publicly is just too amusing to pass up.

[ ] Quash attempts at making Superman's costume fashionable (Diplomacy)
DC 5 While it is incredibly petty you can't stand the idea that Superman will be lauded as a symbol. The idea of ordinary citizens purchasing and wearing clothing emblazoned with Superman imagery causes disgust to well up inside you. Luckily names have weight and with both McCabe Fashions and LL Fashions you can exert enough pressure to make certain designs less popular. It isn't likely to crush everyone interested in profiting off of Superman's image but it will reduce the number of eyesores you might need to deal with

[ ] Release Volcana so she can attempt to kill Superman and cause destruction (Intrigue)
DC 33 Volcana is a powerful metahuman and a potential problem. If anyone figures out the exact circumstances of her imprisonment then the US Government will have a massive scandal on its hands. Furthermore Superman is digging into this subject. However you can potentially turn this all around. Releasing Volcana so long as she does her best to kill Superman and sow destruction could work wonders for you. In a best case scenario Volcana kills Superman but even if she us defeated, you can spin the damage she'll cause in her inevitable rampage to deliver whatever message you want while simultaneously burying the leads to any story Superman might have and getting an excuse to imprison Volcana far away from the public eye. It's a risky play but it could work out well.
Supercomputer special actions
Supercomputer special actions can be taken in addition to whatever amount of normal actions you take in a turn. On top of that you can assign hero units to a supercomputer special action on top of assigning them to a normal action. Finally supercomputer special actions cannot be countered by opposing hero units unless they damage the supercomputer. You currently can only select one supercomputer special action and can only assign one hero to an action. Furthermore you currently receive no bonuses from using a supercomputer.

[ ] [Comp] Analyze Nth Metal
DC ??? (Learning) Attempt to use your supercomputer to analyze the makeup of Nth metal

[ ] [Comp] Analyze Kryptonite
DC 400 (Learning) Attempt to use your supercomputer to analyze the makeup of Kryptonite to better understand its properties.

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer monitor as much information as possible to search for unusual occurrences
DC ??? (There are no penalties for failing this action) (Intrigue) have your supercomputer comb through thousands of data points to find interesting and noteworthy individuals and events.

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer began to analyze the structure of your DNA
DC 66 (Learning) Have the computer work on learning the exact genetic sequence that makes up Lex Luthor

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer begin searching for Bruno Manneheim's exact location
DC 57 (Intrigue) The last you saw of Bruno was that he'd teleported somewhere else following the battle in Metropolis so being aware of just where he currently is could prove critical to preventing him from striking again.

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer narrow down T.O. Morrow's sightings within the area he is likely in
DC ??? (Intrigue) You can use your supercomputer to attempt to figure out the rate at which T.O.Morrow is spotted within the areas his location has been narrowed down to

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer monitor people's internet use through your ISP service
DC ??? (Intrigue) Have your supercomputer run a backlog to see if anyone is making some unusual movements through the web. It's not perfect but it can help you catch some things that might otherwise slip past you.

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer narrow down where Themyscira could not be
DC 25 (Learning) Figure out where Themyscira is by eliminating every position where ti could not be

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer go over the Project Atom data
DC ??? (Learning) Have your supercomputer look over the data Eilings gathered to see if you could find anything interesting

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer map out the most efficient route to patrol a given area
DC 15 (Martial) Have the supercomputer use algorithms to cover as much area as efficiently as possible

[ ] [Comp] Analyze the improved bone growth formula
DC ??? (Learning) Look into the chemical formula to see the predicted results of its injection by the supercomputer

[ ] [Comp] Develop an algorithm to maximize the effectiveness of advertising
DC ??? (Diplomacy) Have your supercomputer figure out how to most effectively advertise to individuals

[ ] [Comp] Analyze Gingo fruit
DC ??? (Learning) have your supercomputer analyze the structure to see what makes the fruit unique and if you can replicate its effects

[ ] [Comp] Have your computer narrow down where in the ocean Whisper's superweapon likely is
DC ??? (Intrigue) Ra's may have disposed of the weapon but you can have your computer narrow down where it ended up, to either retrieve it yourself or to ensure no one else can have it.

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer check the satellite data for any discrepancies
DC 41 (Intrigue) As you are now receiving a steady stream of data from the satellite observing Mars it is in your best interest to make sure nothing unusual is going on with the data there. You've already observed some discrepancies so finding more could prove useful

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer gather information on the unknown individual
DC ??? (Intrigue) The unknown individual is a puzzling question but perhaps it is one your supercomputer can help solve.

[ ] [Comp] Use your supercomputer to dig up more information on Sinclair Batson
DC ??? (Intrigue) Sinclair Batson is a virtual unknown and with ARGUS investigating it wouldn't be proper to try to take the case yourself. That said using your supercomputer to dig up information is well within the realms of what you could and should do to figure out what happened at Lexpo

[ ] [Comp] Have your Supercomputer search for historical sources talking about Black Adam
DC 102 (You suffer no penalties for failing this action) (Learning) Researching just who and what Black Adam is in the greater context of the world could prove quite useful in the long run and enable you to better make use of him.

[ ] [Comp] Have your supercomputer attempt to narrow down who Superman could be
DC ??? (Intrigue) Figuring out if Superman operates under an assumed identity and if so who he really is could prove quite useful to getting rid of him. This action will get easier as time goes on and you gather more data on Superman but it doesn't hurt to try it early on

[ ] [Comp] Attempt to create a new material using Dhawan's particle
DC ??? (You suffer no penalties for failing this action) (Learning) It's frustrating that there is so very little known to you about how to make new materials using Dhawan's particle but you can always attempt through trial and error to at least see if something might be possible with your Supercomputer. It's not liable to get you much but the creation of even more new materials could prove quite useful.

[ ] [Comp] Observe and analyze the object heading towards Earth
DC 0 (the higher the roll the better the result) (Learning) Recently satellites have picked up on an unknown object approaching Earth. Figuring out just what it is could prove to be immensely useful for you in the long run as aliens have proven to have a massive effect on earth and getting ahead of the curve might mean big things for LexCorp. For now simply learning and observing might just give you the edge for now

[ ] [Comp] Do not take any supercomputer special actions

I have been pretty inactive in the quest lately, but just wanted to pop in to remind people of a few things (even if I don't have the energy to create a plan this turn):

Louise Lincoln demands to be on Cold Engine (could also be satisfied with specialized cold lab)
Meena demands specialized lab (could also be satisfied by upgrading particle accelerator)

Plus the deal we just made with Black Adam. @King crimson By when does he want our parts fulfilled?

So we have three main routes to deal with Cerise: kill her, talk to her, or work around her.

If we choose to kill her (martial) we have an advantage with Rose having a warded pseudo-STRIPE suit with the hellflamethrower attachment. I'd also suggest calling up more reinforcements for this, but its guaranteed to make Cerise our enemy if it fails, and certainly make an enemy of whoever is directing her.

For talking (diplomacy) we get a strong Diplomatic team (with Lex) and try to see if there is a way to still work together without stepping all over each other. Best case we can get her to stop what she's doing if we agree to aid her in an indirect way and she keeps working for us, then she does her thing off-site without endangering our assets or employees. Or we just have her resign if she can't, but at least we gave her that option, and she has to undo her spell work before she leaves.

Everything else is working around her, hiring Zatanna (stewardship), checking Cerise's work (intrigue), or trying to come up with a counter (learning), in the sense that we can deal with her spell work before confronting her (disarm the bomb so to speak). Of these three I think hiring Zatanna is our best bet, unless we're ok with assigning Rebecca on intrigue (for magic expertise) or trying to get a learning super-collab. Afterwards we'd either be in a stronger negotiating position (we can undo her progress if she tries to go behind our back) or she'll immediately want to fight us.

I had a mental image of Captain Atom, a company of STRIPE suits, Director Prince, Bane and his soldiers, Vertigo and his bone-serum soldiers, Ra's and his assassins, all rushing into a room to fight Cerise. Then Black Adam arrives. Then the footage goes on the internet... When the fighting is over, that's when Penguin waddles in.
