I cannot stress how strongly I feel about Jian being one of our three minors. Our first friend, who helped us when we needed it the most and whe had nothing to gain from us, and who is a worthy friend to have.
There is likely no action that I liked less in this quest than the decision to purposefully drift away from his.

No it doesn't have anythign to do with the Inner Sect, but if we get into the Inner Sect and Xuilan doesn't then she might get jealous over us; she has already shown jealousy over our superior growth, to the extent that she nearly killed herself in a tribulation.
If we also took up her last day in shopping instead of letting her cultivate in hopes of a last minute breakthrough, she might feel even worse. I think she'll know it isn't rational if it does happen and try to fight it off, but that 'what if' could still poison her feelings towards us after the tournament.
I'm just worried about her for later. Her near accidental suicide is still in my mind and not only do I want our friendship as intact as possible, I want to reduce her self destructive tendancies as much as possible too. I don't actually think it will be likely to be a huge deal bringing her out this tiem, but the risk is enough that I'm not going to vote for it. I'm also not going to argue agaisnt it massively though except for explaining myself here as this is still very much a might scenario, and not certain.
