Damn, i hoped we would get permission by crx to get crazy so we are in the clear with the whole subordinate/superior situation. then we would call for meizhen and and crush the bug. well looks like selling the mirror it is. we need more funds than what we can reasonbale get in the remaining time.

Disappointing.
Why?. He already hated us with a passion.
This makes it a lot harder for him to do anything to us, at least for the time being.
Well we will have him as a recurring villain in the inner sect if we get there at least.

...Ugh. I have the suspicion Renshu might actually get into Inner Sect and make more problems for us now. Well, better than leaving him in Outer Sect in position to harm our friends I suppose. And at least now we're sure he won't bother us before tournament time. I doubt we'd have done anything more final to him with Meizhen either, so I guess this is the best outcome we could have hoped for. We could have looted him once more, but I think the certainty that he won't mess with us again is worth more.

I'm willing to consider swapping the Meizhen option for introducing Zhengui to our family, but Sixiang is obviously urgent, and Zeqing feels important. Main reason I'm picking Meizhen over Zhengui at the moment is because I want to see how we stack up to a monster.

In my view that's why we should have hit him again, for the money and domain XP we desperately need, and to remove the threat entirely instead of having him continue to lurk around plotting to get around Fu Xiang. Too late now!
That was probably going to happen regardless. It's not like this thread would have gone along with maiming or killing him.
I'm more worried about getting INTO the inner sect at this point.

We might have ruined his chances of getting into the Inner Sect. With him in the mix, we're somewhere between 6th and 9th strongest in the Outer Sect.

Does Cai have a bureaucracy art? I kind of hope she does.
Even if we ruined his production project, he could still challenge the combat section.
And he is strong enough to put a decent showing there.
Even if we had hit him, it would not necessarily mean stopping him. That being said, yeah, this situation is not ideal, but is probably the best we could hope for, all things considered.

Problem being, we can't remove the threat entirely since murder is forbidden in the Outer Sect, and I doubt the thread would go for 'accidental' murder. We have repeatedly raided Renshu and not managed to 'remove the threat entirely', so it seems pretty unlikely that raiding him yet again would actually remove him as a threat. Letting Cai take care of this at least means we don't have to worry about him anymore until after the tournament.

Well the biggest plus about this resolution for me is that it basically confirms that Renshu's going to be gunning for the production track, whereas if we had ruined his project by attacking him he'd have to do the combat tournament instead. And you just know that the Sect would have us face each other at some point.
Now we have one less high-level competitor to worry about in an already extremely packed competition. Sorry Fu Xiang, if you don't want to compete with Renshu you're going to have to use a different scheme, but I'm sure you can think of something.

The sword because i'm most interested in how a top level flying "sword"(?) actually looks like. And we really need all the domain XP we can get.
Introducing Zhengui to mom and sis is going to be the highlight of the week

Zhengui + heizui seem irrelevant. Also Zeqing should be keeping an eye on her daughter anyway. Sixiang binding is a bad idea in my book as it'll cost actions and money to get her up to fighting in the tournament, assuming she even can fight at all (her level being boosted seem to indicate she can't fight for shit even with her green+ level)
Zeqing minor would be nice, and honestly is a close call with Gan Guan. I'm just a bit more enclined towards combat due to the tournament being so close.

This is a really hard Minor vote. I'm not even going to vote yet, but I'm going to do a rundown of each and what the mechanical implications might be (since all of them might have some):

While this seems to be pure fluff at first glance, Ling Qi's domain is her home and her home is her domain, so unifying family could have subtle positive effects there and will probably help her mood the most. I think this is most puntable in a tense period, but definitely want to do it before Tourney time.

This is the complement to the Bai minor, it would likely give Domain XP and prepare us for the prelim bracket. We might gain some closer relationships and fighting experience with some of Gan's enforcers here and that could help if any are in our bracket (there are a ton of them and only 8 brackets so some definitely will be.) Gan in the past has been puntable so this is probably an option that'll hang around at least a week.

Make no mistake though, all we are doing is kicking the can down the road. We're still going to have to deal with YR at some point.

We desperately need better stealth to avoid situations like this one in the future. Still, that's a problem for next year.
