[X] Toward the moonlit peak and its unseen players, calling her to join the serenade.
Also, per the reaction to Gu Tai, she dislikes sand. All cultivators are basically Sith; craving power, enhancing themselves via alchemy, being all about acting and doing, and all the revenge plots. They're just different kinds of Sith. Sun Liling is Bane, the rebel barbarian plotting against the established order as well as enjoying in-your-face butchery. Bai Meizhen is totally a young Kreia, complete with hard lessons and getting attached to her student. Cai Renxiang is wannabe-Revan, uniting the Outer Sect for their own good. Ling Qi is obviously a proto-Vader; a country bumpkin with great potential, attachment issues, and no idea what she's doing.
No Flying Swords yet, we'll probably have to get Bronze to unlock them.
...I feel bad that my first thought upon seeing all these bonii was "Damn it, we missed out on the Metal/Classic 5 bonus!"
[X] Into the forest, full of life and joy. She did not want to leave her friends waiting.
I'm pretty sure this choice is also going to lead to, or give us the ability to walk a certain path in later cultivation, and when we reach/become a spirit (assuming this happens) what would we want?
Ling Qi really doesn't want to leave her friends behind, but from what we understand Spirits are lonely existences. What if we instead became a Spirit OF companionship? Some of the others will probably have better immediate bonuses, but the only other choice I imagine an immortal Spirit Ling Qi would be ahppy with is the Free Air one, and then not as much as actually being able to keep her friends.
Makes sense.Actually, I'm sorta thinking that we'll be getting Flying Swords after this vote.
Yrsillar mentioned that Flying Swords are "Training Wheels" for something in Green that we get more of as we go up in Cultivation.
My guess is that Flying Swords are paired with our Domain Attribute that we've still got to settle on. Rather than rolling Strength or Dex or whatever, we roll Domain and learn to control and apply that shiny new Attribute through use of a Flying Sword.
You can sub in lesser for greater. We have one rank in green and three in yellow. We can therefore use 4 yellow (35 stones) or 1 green, 3 yellow (25 + gss stones). Either one is more than the 30 we were rocking before.Sadly, we can use 3 yellow, or 2 Yellow, 1 green. We'll be able to use 4 YSS or 2 YSS, 1GSS when we breakthrough bronze.
Basically, our cultivation dice just got slapped around.
So, some comments about this "Black Loom Gargantuan." It is totally going to be worth 1 green stone for a minute of combat. If we break down a minute of combat into turns of 6 seconds each (typical D&D round) then we have 10 turns of this thing in play.Fifty yellow stones for a minute? I don't know if that's worth it. That's a whole green spirit stone. Still, worth looking into, especially if we swear to Cai and spirit stones become less scarce.
Interesting idea! Especially if Domain is the Attribute for flying sword attacks, and there is ALSO a new skill for them. It would emphasize that learning to use a flying sword is something you very much have to learn once you hit Third Realm.Actually, I'm sorta thinking that we'll be getting Flying Swords after this vote.

Haha, fair enough. And good to know it was a typo. By the way, thanks for editing the update and updating the front page and pill pages so quickly. I have no idea how you put out content so fast, especially with the re-balancing.I gotta save some bonuses for physical guys.
And yeah that was a typo in the interlude, which takes place following this.
Basically a dinosaur. Hmm.
Think more like it is a Jaeger from the movie Pacific Rim. I believe that this is comparable in size, although the Jaeger "might" be a little bit bigger. Not sure on that one
It's the lesser of our cultivation level for the numbers of stones (so late silver) and the highest stage for quality of stone (so green). So, we can take up to 3 stones, with the possibility of 1GSS.You can sub in lesser for greater. We have one rank in green and three in yellow. We can therefore use 4 yellow (35 stones) or 1 green, 3 yellow (25 + gss stones). Either one is more than the 30 we were rocking before.
The big loss here is in pills. I suggest we finally spend a minor looking for good drugs.
Turns out everyone else has the same idea and the tournament ends up shifting genre entirely into giantSo I'm really hoping BLG can be combat ready in the tournament, I would love to use it in a match vs. Gan Guangli.
Yeah that sounds like something Suyin would do.Do we REALLY want to be the person who rides a bone-abomination into combat during the highly watched sect tournoument? It isn't breaking the law or anything since we are using spirit beast bones, but the optics here aren't great...
