What's an AsukaQuest and why is it relevant?
The rarest of things: a completed quest.

I wasn't there for it, but I'm going to make a wild guess and say that the quest spent 95% of the quest trying to fix the fallout from the decisions made in the first 5%. Course, it also had a happy ending, so that can cut either way, depending on how you want to argue it.

In short, that exact logic led to Shinji getting drunk right before getting in the Eva. Because it would be "fun" and getting drunk helps him play Dark Souls.

It turned out to be a freaking terrible decision.

In short, think more before you make your vote. Don't try to justify it after you decide that you want to do something in particular because you'll think it'll be fun. Try to look at it from more than one angle.

Sounds like I got tired of it just before it got good. I'll have to pick it up again some time.

...Wow, that really was a poorly thought out decision. Sounds like it did wonders for the narrative though!

What other angle? You've seen the 20+ pages of arguments, there's plenty of points for and against doing this, mainly, that not being talking about the fights and just watching it would still be perfectly likely to trigger her PTSD.
Also, the logic I'm seeing being used here isn't the logic you're showing off there, that logic shows a drastic lack of foresight for something completely petty, the logic that's being thrown round here seems more to be disagreements on just how fragile Anna is about Person Vs Person stuff.

[X] We started this without really expecting to derive a favorite food. We didn't even really have a conception of "favorite" food, we weren't aware that so many dishes existed. But now, we can do this the right way: with absolute empirical precision. Go back through the list, choosing the order by random number generation, and catalogue neural responses to each item.

You seem to think that I'm speaking in general for the topic we're dealing with IC. I'm not. I'm pointing out that someday, this will become relevant, and that's why you should always keep this in mind.

There's a reason why I didn't bring it up earlier. Because it wasn't particularly relevant, as we have already discussed this plenty.

I think there is a big divide in what people interpret as the point of this quest. The "No-Commentary" crowd see it as having Anna be a functional human being as soon as possible and build from there. The "Yes-Commentary" crowd see the goal as hitting 20 Audience Popularity and getting our own spinoff series.

I'm on yes, an I'm concerned about Anna being a functional human being.

It's just that we've seen her witness sparring previously and not had a flashback. Despite the recent one clearly being on everybody's minds, that was a situation where she was directly involved and under pressure (her trigger was "too late," something that won't be the case in the tournament). When she's just watching a spar, though, she's fine. I want her to be a functional human being; I just don't see this choice as being at all relevant to that. I'm voting this way because since it's irrelevant on any wider scale, it'll be interesting and that's all I need.

They worked really, really hard and with cursed dice. It was amazing to read through.
The Dice also gave us amazing things like THE BAT so it goes either way.

Sounds like I got tired of it just before it got good. I'll have to pick it up again some time.
The Drunk Shinji Incident is where the quest turns serious (or at least, the players started taking the quest seriously since it showed that there were Actual Consequences™ for their decisions). Keep reading sometime.

I'm in Yes-Commentary because I think it will help Anna be a functional human being and be happier overall.

[X]None of the matches. Do something else.

It's not that I believe that Anna can't handle watching the fights or doing the commentary it's just that tournament arcs are bad. Like, I literally can't understand the people voting for doing the commentary for the reasons of it being 'fun' or 'interesting' because that's the opposite of what tournament arcs are. I mean, sure if anyone can pull it off it's Avalanche (I mean, just look how fun and interesting he made that fishing trip) but still I'd be happier if he took the time and effort and wrote about basically anything else.

Funnily enough, I'd agree wholeheartedly if we hadn't just seen said fishing trip. ;)

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I, for one, like tournament arcs.

I dunno - I think Anna and Vivas could make a pretty dynamic duo. It'll be worth it for that alone if she's our co-host.

So, considering Infinite Stratos is one of the inspirations for this,
what are the chances that Koujirou's match is interrupted by an Antagonist attack?

Yay! I finally get to vote in this quest!

[X]Yes. You will watch all the matches involving your squadron. As the matches take place simultaneously, you will only be watching the matches from your own squadron.

Anna commentating sounds like the good kind of challenge for her. It's definitely outside her current comfort zone but that just makes it a better learning opportunity.

Of course there's a chance that something dramatic will happen in the match and Anna will tilt and intervene needlessly...but hiding away from social challenges because we are afraid what might happen sounds like a sad existence.

Also, commentator characters are usually very well liked in anime and get plenty of screen time. Think about the ratings!

I call those "Wake up!"-votes.

Same.

Decide on a favourite food or favourite food type! Doesn't matter if you classify them by region, type or anything;
[X] Pancakes with maple syrup.

Which matches of the Squadron Vanguard tournament will you be going to see?
Accept Commentary request?
