That's the scout tank's fate. But what of the factory built to assemble them? Is it really used to build tractors instead?

I'd really prefer we bank the resources to spend on Gorky or military plants next turn rather than trolley systems, but whatever infrastructure is important for the war effort as well I guess. As long as we get the armored car trial in.

Fuck it, nearly instant flip on my vote. Armored cars are still super critical, but they build faster than planes. I still think trying to rely on 100% aerial recon is just asking to get obliterated in any region the Luftwaffe wants to keep us out of, so we NEED the cars NEXT turn and I really mean that, no pushing it back to next next turn like we have a tendency to do. But planes take longer to build, so let's get them out first.

It was a cold, rainy day in Moscow. People hurried through the street, attempting to find shelter as they ran their various errands. A normally busy city made even more frantic as everyone sped up in an attempt to avoid getting too wet.
"-won't be reaching the deadline. Those lazy idiots, I shall send the repo-"
"Bazarov?! Bazarov get back here! BAZAROV!!"
Just like the city it found itself in, the VSNKh headquarters rarely had a quiet moment. Overseeing the growth of all the different sectors of the Union's economy was a lot of work. The telephones were constantly ringing, the papers were shuffled, organized and filed and the hallways were rarely empty.
"Someone stop that madman! You, err, Stepnov and Yuri, grab him! NOW!"
"-when they find out about this maybe they'll finally fire all those stu- hey what ar-"
"Grab him!" "I got him. Hold, ho-" "Get off of m-" "I got his legs!"
Today things were a bit more chaotic than usual though. Several very important deadlines to be held, political considerations to be kept in mind. What is worse, if one had a pessimistic mindset one might come to the conclusion that some of the deadlines might've been a tad bit… optimistic.
"-it won't be completed! It is IMPORTANT that the correct information-"
"There is no way- I am ORDERING you to drop it, what don't you understand?"
That wouldn't do. The big man himself said it would be completed, after all. You wouldn't want to make him a liar, would you?
"Comrade Mikoyan, sir! Comrade Stalin is on the line, he wants to know how Magnitogorsk is coming along!"
"Alright, alright, you two drag Bazarov to his office and make absolutely sure he doesn't leave. I'll deal with this shortly, just let me-"

We went out of our way to purge the military that liked calvery, the Light Tank was such a desaster the military brass now belive the category to be useless. We need some sort of fast light vehicle up and running as soon as possible. And to have time to do corrections if the cars also decide to be problematic.

The point of note here is that correcting the faults and optimization of a car takes way less time than it is to correct and optimize planes, cranking out a working equivalent of a Greyhound or a Sd.Kfz. 222 isn't going to be as hard as making the equivalent of a Stuka. We can absolutely delay armoured cars for a turn — and only one — and hone in the air war a notch more.
Here's a table of the rolls for the Spanish Civil War. For the first half year there were only five rolls, but we didn't send any volunteers so I left that cell empty.

The Spanish quagmire will continue until France has enough of it and decides to move on Spain and shoot anyone Pro-German or soviet and forming a government loyal to it. So long as nothing happens to France then Spain might see some peace and stability right? Oh poor Spain....
