I don't think so.

He was really not interested in the least in his interlude.
At best he'd give her a clear talk "Learn how to fight, cast and ride a Dragon before trying to chase a man" and then look again in a decade or so.
Point, but the last Maelor interlude showed Malarys being rather attentive to Valaena, so I'm not sure if that's changed or not.

I think most of that was because of the others who were present. He knows Vaelana has important parentage and is an ally. No sense in alienating her or leading others to think he dislikes her.

He just awakened and swore himself to us after a slumber of many centuries. They guy is looking for allies among our closest circle. Wouldn't you do the same? He is alone, and vulnerable because of that. He doesn't know how we work (seriously, we are really innocent when it comes to judging our companions' intentions). It makes sense.

Probably with help from her new lover, Aberi, and his crew of mercenary extraplanar adventurers.

You know, they are actually helping us then. And when shit hits the fan, I think that they are more likely to side back with the guys who already beat their asses and graciously accepted their surrender than some rich fucker and his pretty incestuous daughter.

V: "Ah, Aberi, good to see you again. And in... Notable company."
C: "Disgusting Braavosi whelp, how dare you speak to my man like that?!"
A: "Oh. Hi boss."
C: D:<

I love how we all hate sexism when it's directed to Danny, and then we get away with this stuff :D
Well, I suppose that Vyserys just never really thought about it beyond going "that's convenient".

It's not sexism, if Rhaenyra won the dance, I'd expect her to exert control over her household as well.

And Malarys with our mother is a...mistake. A danger. It's literally step 2 in the plan to usurp our position, particularly if he can use magic to boost her fertility. Let's not tempt him by leaving the gate open, yeah?

Agreed, we don't want another Dance or Blackfyre.

Trying my hand at a Dragonrider class chassis:
everything like default bard:
+ ride and handle animal as class skills
+ inspire courage only works while mounted, but has range of sight
- no other bardic music
Bonus feats
2: Saddleback (10 on Ride checks, even if rushed or threatened. 1/round Ride check rerolls Reflex save)
4: Mounted Combat (1/round Ride check vs attack)
6: Ride-by Attack

though I am not sure how to incorporate the dragon growth into the progression/nix those feats and instead give the animal companion mental bond stuff.
