Dispater: Oh no looks like I left my SECRET FILES filled with the SEVEN'S CHOSEN'S LOCATIONS! Better hope that there isn't a MYTHIC DRAGON ARCHMAGE who would benefit from this confidential info!~
I would respect him more if he did this.Dispater: Oh no looks like I left my SECRET FILES filled with the SEVEN'S CHOSEN'S LOCATIONS! Better hope that there isn't a MYTHIC DRAGON ARCHMAGE who would benefit from this confidential info!~
Chosen of the Father -- Lucan Longfield -- Soul-killed in a mission where he basically invaded Hell.Do we have the last known locations of all the Seven's chosen?
Because feeding them to the OG feels like karmic justice, and I'm kinda down for that.
Imagine if he actually does this as a solid for us warning him about Mammon's schemes against him.Dispater: Oh no looks like I left my SECRET FILES filled with the SEVEN'S CHOSEN'S LOCATIONS! Better hope that there isn't a MYTHIC DRAGON ARCHMAGE who would benefit from this confidential info!~

Chosen of the Mother -- None as far as we know
Chosen of the Warrior -- Brienne of Tarth -- Our vassal, should be in Sorcerer's Deep as part of the coronation actually
Chosen of the Maiden -- Danelle -- In limbo presumably forever in the Feywild as she tries to hunt down the missing Ifequevron
Chosen of the Smith -- I don't even remember his name -- Still in the Vale?
Chosen of the Crone -- Danar Crowl of Skagos and Edmure Tully managed to murder her after stealing some relic sacred to the Crone (though Edmure was mostly just defending his friend and had nothing to do with the theft), and now we don't know who the next Chosen is
Chosen of the Stranger -- None as far as we know
There's always an angelic invasion, though honestly I doubt it's gonna happen. At this point they seem a bit resigned.
This is the best chance for it to happen...cause if it doesn't then the Seven are about to be hurting when the invasion of new gods, backed by the state, come in.There's always an angelic invasion, though honestly I doubt it's gonna happen. At this point they seem a bit resigned.
Still, a magpie can dream.
It is the best chance, yeah. But I just think they've given up.This is the best chance for it to happen...cause if it doesn't then the Seven are about to be hurting when the invasion of new gods, backed by the state, come in.
Huh, yeah. We have been working towards this one thing for five years now.DEEP BREATHS. We are about to do something we've only been waiting like half a decade for.

We put together that temple for a few different reasons. The simplest one is political; having it signals that we'd attempt to have a relationship with the faith instead of going full Maegor on them.Do we have the last known locations of all the Seven's chosen?

Edit: wait, I'm confused. Is the 7 actually gonna be opposing us? I thought we had a temple of them in the Deep.
Edit 2: I mean, as long as they still have followers after the Reconquest I don't think they are gonna be hindering us anytime soon.
Yup. Seems the official line from the Seven is "magic is fine, so long as we have total control over it".We put together that temple for a few different reasons. The simplest one is political; having it signals that we'd attempt to have a relationship with the faith instead of going full Maegor on them.
The more delicate one is based around the fact that gods are shaped by worship, and can't selectively reject earnest faith. Enough of a drift can literally change a god's mind, and a schism can tear it in half. We deliberately set up that sept as part of the start to a plan to abuse that fact to fuck with the Seven's heads. It got dropped during the conclave, but we never actually stopped passively supporting the heresy we deliberately fostered.
If I had to bet, I'd put money on them never really letting that last bit go.
with some outdate'ness?Speaking of a large @egoo, what was the Maximum Socials buff scheme again?
@Azel I think this covers everything.
Here's the social bonuses to use while approaching Crimson Lotus; Air of Nobility, Blood Wished Focused Scrutiny, Voice of the Dragon, and Wild Arcana'd Greater Heroism modified by the Encouraging Spell Metamagic (learned via Ancestral Awakening). This will add a constant +30 bonus to Viserys' base +48 Diplomacy bonus.
He should also have Divine Insight, Blood Wished Honeyed Tongue, and Moment of Greatness active. Divine Insight and Moment of Greatness can be discharged simultaneously to provide an additional +20 when needed. With Honeyed Tongue, Viserys gets to make all of his Diplomacy rolls twice, taking the higher of the two.
He can use his Orb of Mental Renewal before going into the meeting to heal his Charisma damage from using Blood Wish here.
During the meeting, he should be prepared to Blood Wish Surge of Fortune and Peacemaker's Parley spells. Neither of these spells can be cast too far ahead of time, but Viserys can use them surreptitiously without being noticed; all of his spells are Silent now and he can Still two spells per day using his Bracers. Crimson Lotus won't be able to discern the spells being cast.
All told, he can go into the meeting with a +78 Diplomacy bonus, increase that to +80 with Peacemaker's Parley, and +82 with Surge of Fortune. Using Blood Wish twice will decrease Viserys' Charisma bonus by one point, lowering the overall Diplomacy bonus to +81, a net gain of +3 points. Discharging Surge of Fortune (for an effective Nat 20), Divine Insight (+15), and Moment of Greatness (+5) will increase that to +119. And then add a +1d6 Mythic Surge bonus as a finisher.
+119+1d6 seems likely to have an effect.
PS: You can substitue Sirine's Grace in place of Peacemaker's Parley if you don't mind reducing his maximum Diplomacy bonus by -2 points, reducing the Diplomacy bonus to 117+1d6 in favor of getting a +8 bonus to Perform(Oratory).
We do know there is one, we just have no idea where.
