There's also the issue that we don't really have a unified calendar yet. Westeros uses After Conquest, but that makes no sense for other places. Yi-Ti likely counts from when a dynasty was established. The Valyrian cities likely still use what Valyria used, or started to count After Doom if Valyria used something that is no longer applicable.
OOC: Being sick may not be a good mood to write a triumph in, but the headspace of a man who feels he is bound of obscurity and failure flowed fine. In case you are wondering that was not a Three-Eyed Raven, but rather the original inspiration for them doing a bit of mysterious mentoring. He will also pay for any grafts and templates Aliser wants up to +3 CR.
Not quite the intend, though it can be interpreted that way once the Nightwatch has no need of him anymore.
For now someone right on the edge between "long-time member of the Watch" and "trained in SD and loyal to the Targs" is valuable to have there, to ensure smoother cooperation between the old guard and our reinforcements.
Another reason to boost his Charisma to levels he has never dreamed of.
Although thinking of it, is the Death Knight's fear aura something they can turn off? Because otherwise it is rather hard to integrate into society what with all the screaming and gibbering.
@DragonParadox, what sentient undead can we actually make without further research? Everything we got Create spells for obviously lile Qyburn Variant Mummys, but what about Vampires?
Abd how much progress do we need for Dread Mummy and Dread Sayona, or can we already make those? I always just assumed we need to research them, but never actually asked.

There was a number of Vampire templates we opened for research, but only the Psychic variant was of any interest so I don't have those other saved.
Will have to look up, DP gave Progress numbers and all.
Although grand was the hour and loud the silvered trumpets singing it, the work of Empire did not slow, the clink of coin and the clank of abacuses bearings, the soft hiss of paper being laid all in its place. The task of a scribe was never done, that much had been known from time out of mind, when men still carved tallies upon stone and pressed letters into soft clay, but in the newly named Imperium, whose wheels of state still ran in the same groves that had been worn in months and years past, that was a hundred times truer, or perhaps a thousand time. That was a matter of debate between those who worked in the growing apparatus of governance and those who served the Emperor's Companies under the banner of the Red Scales.
There was a jest making the rounds told in hushed whispers over sly smiles that he really aught to change his banner from a three-headed dragon to a pair of crimson scales. After all, the Empire would have plenty of wings in the sky even if every dragon bar one fell dead from it, but even Emperor Viserys, First of His Name, could not replace thousands of clerks and scribes who ensured that payments were made and profits gathered.
For once the Emperor was not spending the last day of the month looking over figures and judging profits, but one might almost feel him in spirit in the main offices of Red Scales, the purring satisfaction of a wyrm beholding his growing hoard, wrought not of gold, silver, or precious things lying in some forgotten mount, but of the gathered worth of an economy in motion.

In shadowed halls, far more arcane other tallies were being made, no less important to the realm for all the numbers were far lower, for these would be the mages who would set out to guard the realm from fiends and timeless horrors, from traitors and proscribed cultists, though many of course would need some seasoning, before they would be sent out. Not many of those mages just setting off upon the path would believe that the Dragon who rules over other dragons, the king and now the Emperor, had once faced the world with barely enough magic to kindle fire and soothe a suspicious mind, but some were there who looked up to the heavens and the flames writ upon it not only with awe, but ambition also.

Teach a man to hold a sword and they suddenly think they are a knight, teach them to bend reality to their whims and they think they are gods in the making, thought Ser Alliser Thorne, master-at-arms of the Night's Watch, as he considered the men he would be taking with him back to the Wall. Two sorcerers who could throw a handful of fire, a singer who could hold a healing tune and him the most skilled of the lot for the fact that he had not been a fool and given up his sword to pick up sorcery. The bloody Queen could wipe the floor with the lot of them, or scatter their ashes as the case might be.
Not that he had nothing against the woman, far from it. If anyone deserved a good life it was her, but it rankled him something fierce that the insult he had shouted so many times over a snowy field would now be true of the men he had brought here to train, hells, even him. A lady could beat you black and blue with her fan...
It was a lady with a fiddle this time around, but it came down to the same thing. He could be down there feasting, the night would hide the color of his cloak well enough, and the wine would still the tongues of those who might think ill of the choice, but Ser Alliser Thorne did not want to be tolerated, he did not want their pity nor their sympathy. He was honest enough to know he too craved greatness as much as any peasant's brat with shit still on their heels to walk through the tower's shadow.

A raven that was no common bird perched on the bench beside him and cawed curiously. The feathers looked oddly soft in the soft blue light of the lantern swaying overhead. They were forging these better and better. "Why do you sit in the dark when there is such light close by? Are not you and your kin drawn to it?" the 'bird' asked in harsh voice.
The Black Brother was not sure what moved him to speak then, "Because I am neither of one feather or another and soon to be forgotten on a frozen perch save for the lists and honors no one reads. It will be all the armies of the south that fight the war for Dawn, dragons, sorcerers, and ships of the sky. What worth is an oath that is..." he had to struggle to recall the word that fit the feeling, for it was not Common nor even Low Valyrian, but in the grinding tongue of stone which some of the craftsmen of the Deep had taken for their own. "Obsolete." Like a blade too worn out to be worth sharpening...
For a long moment the bird stood there in eerie silence, its beady eyes fixed on the knight. "There is more than one way to sharpen a blade, if you would dare it. Go thee further south into the steaming land of Gogossos and there seek those who mold flesh like clay and ask for the use of their arts."
Before Alliser could gather his wits from the fact that the bird had read his damn mind, it was gone in a flurry of feathers.
OOC: Being sick may not be a good mood to write a triumph in, but the headspace of a man who feels he is bound of obscurity and failure flowed fine. In case you are wondering, that was not a Three-Eyed Raven, but rather the original inspiration for them doing a bit of mysterious mentoring. He will also pay for any grafts and templates Aliser wants up to +3 CR. This is partly because he sympathies with Thorne and partly because he wants to make flesh-smithing more common among those favored by the Throne. Not everyone wants or can afford to become a Praetorian, but having a significant portion of the elites of the realm take up other improvements gives Viserys one more leaver over them and it also makes them more useful on a battlefield.
Made some additional edits to the chapter, @DragonParadox.
Why don't we do something a bit different and grow him a new, younger body with the Quickling template? The faster aging can be mitigated easily enough in the coming years, or he can be swapped into a non-Quickling body later on when it's time for him to retire, if he wishes.
It's a really good template that we haven't made much use of yet. Quickling would also work very well with Alliser's new Duskblade class.
I don't have an issue using Soul-forged Undead against the Others now that we've got the process refined and tested to the point that we know they can't exercise undue control over them, but I really don't think it's a good idea to try to station one of them at the Wall itself. That's just asking for unforeseen trouble, IMO.
If we do go the Undead route with him, then it should be considered an end to his service with the Night's Watch entirely, given that his life will have technically ended.

[] Plan Absolute Heresy
-[] Buffs:
--[] Viserys gets his usual speech buffs and in addition uses Miracles to copy Greater Angelic Aspect (wings hidden by Greater Ribbon of Disguise) and Crown of Glory, spending Bloodwishes for Divine Presence and Sacred Nimbus, and casts Starmantle on himself.
--[] Balerion is buffed by Starmantle.
--[] Overland Flight is cast on anyone in the party not yet able to fly.
-[] When the Dauntless arrives over Kings Landing, it will be hidden in a cloud and carry with it a small layer of floating ice crystals over the city. When it reveals itself the cloud dissipates, revealing the vessel, whose glammered hull is made to display the Targaryen crest.
-[] Viserys casts as Miracle to wrap the Dauntless and the incoming Wyverns in flames. Those flames won't hurt anything, but they will shed a warm, almost golden light that lights up the entire city, and which will reflect in the ice layer above, creating an aurora-like effect that lights up the whole night sky.
-[] Balerion, the Heralds and the Wyverns will circle above the city, shedding their light on it and lighting up the sky.
-[] Viserys steps off the Dauntless' hull, gently floating down to the plaza before the Great Sept of Baelor while using scrolls of Mages Decree and his Angelic Aspects Truespeech to deliver his words to everyone in the entire city.
-[] Speech:
--[] "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the city of Sorcerers Deep, an Imperator has been crowned." 30 Words - 2 Scrolls
--[] All Imperial soldiers within the city will chant in reply, due to being spread out over the city, they will be heard in the entire city and it will sound like a massive chorus coming from everywhere: "Glory to the Imperator, here on this world and beyond."
--[] "You were made to toil and suffer in darkness by wicked kings and scheming lords, but today, I come to end their reign. With me, I bring my legions, so that the righteous shall know reprieve, and that the wicked shall know fear." 43 Words - 2 Scrolls
--[] Chorus: "By his will, we march and justice shall follow in our steps."
--[] "With me, I bring my healers, so that you may know succor. No longer shall you be made to starve. No longer shall you fear sickness and rot." 28 Words - 2 Scrolls
--[] Chorus: "Through his hand, this world shall be mended."
--[] "With me, I bring the light, so that it may warm your hearts and minds." 21 Words - 1 Scroll
--[] Chrous: "In his light, peace shall reign."
--[] "So come forth and see, for the dawn has come." 10 Words - 1 Scroll
-[] At this point, Viserys lands on the plaza, most likely in the midst of a stunned crowd. Bonus points if the High Septon comes out and kneels at this point.
-[] Viserys will then lead his party to the Red Keep and to the Iron Throne.
Okay, based on that and his character sheet it looks like he has space for some stuff. Devil's Ego for a +4 profane bonus to charisma Righteous Aura for a +4 sacred bonus to charisma Divine Presence for a +5 sacred bonus to intimidate people who don't worship our deity (presumably Viserys himself) increasing to +10 against people who have one alignment in opposition to the caster, and +15 for those with two. Improvisation for a floating luck pool. We have luck bonuses already, but they seem to mostly be one offs. This spell would provide a pool of 2 luck points/CL which can be spent to provide a bonus equal to the points used on attack rolls , skill checks, and ability checks. You can't spend more than half your CL in points on any one check, but that's still a hell of a bump if it's needed.
Other useful effects: Crown of Glory - for 1 minute/CL it grants you a 10 ft/CL aura of celestial authority. Anyone with less than 8 levels/HD must stop what they're doing and face you. Your words are treated like suggestion spells and a telepathic communication effect ensures they understand you even if you don't share a language with them. Note that it is an evocation spell with a good subtype and not an illusion or enchantment spell with a mind effecting one, so it arguably shouldn't be blocked by most standard mental defenses.
Adoration of the Frightful - this ones just for laughs. It lets you translate fear statuses into friendly attitudes for the duration of the spell, which is hilarious but probably not appropriate for the public audience. Might be useful for the follow up meetings though.
overall, that's another +4 to all Viserys' social checks, followed by a pair of luck bonuses somewhere north of +10 with CL buffs.
Which means that if Viserys wants to intimidate a CE asshole who doesn't worship him as a god then he could slap something north of +27 on top of his existing intimidate check.

I think we never did the research needed to mix and match graft types, even though Praetori use different types. So I'm not sure if regular grafts can be mixed.
Undead grafts allow for a decent suit of Enervating Arm, Paralysing Arm and Undead Skin, giving him 25% fortification, +8 STR and teo special attacks. Eye of Flame is also nice, since it deals half Fire and half Divine damage.
