Any guesses as to whether the music Ling Qi has been composing all this time is an Art or not?
On the one hand, it's something she will have been doing for herself rather than explicitly as a tool.

I think everyone is thinking that she is making an art. They are huddled in a corner whispering horrifying rumors of what our new art that we are making can do. Then Ling Qi is just like "what.. no it's just a normal song."Any guesses as to whether the music Ling Qi has been composing all this time is an Art or not?

You guys should calm down a bit honestly remember this is more then just efficient actions, ling qi is a person and needs time to adjust to this situation. She needs to relax and calm herself rather then rush into the situation .
Yes well learn more about CAI herself by actually spending time with her, but just last week we admitted to not being overly fond of her .
Just agree to disagree and move on rather then crying to teacher about what the outcomes will be.
No one is saying ling qi can't process info but I get what @Arkeus is saying. People DO need time to process things and think them through. People also tend to ask those close to them or whose opinion they value for advice especially on something this big. Let her have a week or two IC to become comfortable with the idea first before she just throws herself at Cai and GG to establish friendship points.
ESPECIALLY considering she also has other priorities and friends (and yes those are higher to ling qi right now then the Cai decision )
Also note that we will most likely have some time even after breakthrough to decide with all of the other stuff including being at war going on right now .
I don't think OP would rush us into this the SECOND we breakthrough.
And lastly points have been made that we do need to do actions that aren't always cultivating or maximum efficiency , we aren't a robot. And we shouldn't be focused on maximum stats rather then actual character growth

I strongly believe that taking music actions will improve Ling Qi as a person and will help her significantly with her cultivate / benefits mindset. Which in turn will improve her cultivation in the extremely long term, since the very central focus to cultivation is her self. It has nothing to do with mechanical bonuses or the character sheet and everything to do with Ling Qi as a person. In comparison CRX can go hang. She is nowhere near as important, in any sense.

Since we have a special element of music now I feel the need to explore this element. What can it do what are the advantages?
Constantly playing background music and battle themes.
I'd vote for an option that swapped the Bag for a Cai action, but meeting with GG can absolutely wait.

The big question is if it will be the best opportunity we'll ever have. Especially since this opportunity in particular is likely a major lock-in in terms of Ling Qi's future.

A variant of Find Meridians, this plan does two Cai related actions (Talk to Meizhen, Talk to Cai), Li Suyin's arachnid adventure, music with Su Ling and trades techs with Han Jian.
I kept TRF trained with GF simply because we hadn't trained that with them before, and it is a group buff.
I considered swapping Han Jian instead of the bag, but both main plans had that trade, so I left it. I'm not wedded to it though.
EDIT: I'm also swapping around EPC and AM training partners. I don't want the emotional stress of Meizhen using her fear techniques bothering either of us during this conversation, and practicing AM by seeing through Su Ling's illusions sounds interesting.

Bag is far more important to our planning to do now than Han Jian.
I prioritise it way more. We aren't even going to need AS until eightfold week anyway.
It also keeps the weird EPC with Su Ling - which I really don't think works at all. It and AM should really be switched.

...Honestly, I kind of wish instead of going off to play music with like one other person in the audience Ling Qi would just go play music in the common square or whatever where everybody could enjoy it. Thus inspiring horrific paranoia in those who have done her wrong, and maybe actually causing the normal Outer Sect kids who have been busting their butts for the last few months to have a good time for once.
Like, Ling Qi with an audience she isn't trying to beat into the dirt. What a concept.
Tbh, my opinion is that now that Ling Qi is no longer a noob, and basic advice doesn't do much anymore, we should only be able to train actual combat arts with our friends.
I don't see much reason why doing basic cultivation with them would help much, or how they'd be able to help us with things like EPC. The exception would be Suyin with meridians because of her knowledge of our body from all her poking.

Well, I think using AM to pierce Su Ling's illusions should be valid training, but I see your point in general.
