It only matters if Han Jian hasn't told the rest of the group. After all, we approached him individually about it, not as part of the group.
You do remember correctly, but there are two possible stealth aspects to my plan.
The storm spirit mission. It is a lot easier to catch spirits if they are unaware you are coming. We sneak up on them and catch them, that will be the quickest way.
The Li Suyin spider summons minor. They might remember that we were there before and that we stole their silk. Might be best to be as stealthy as possible.

THE PLAN:
The whole plan here is to abuse our newfound power maliciously. Right now, the normal Anti-Ling Qi tactics are more or less useless, but that won't last forever given how good the intel gathering abilities of our rivals are. Getting into Sun Liling's castle and finding out what she's up to prevents another Thunderdome from happening on her terms again, and we'll have a good grasp of her combat strength this way too. Right now, we have plenty of tools to break in with and gather plenty of information with, and it's good for our Cultivation to do this kind of thing anyway.
Fleeting Zephyr and TRF being upgraded increases our battle strength a bit further as well, besides both of them being pretty low hanging fruits. This also takes care of Li Suyin's spirit binding effort--and might get us Vault Guardian translated too at the end of it, which is good because Zhengui's due to go into hibernation anytime now.
Beyond that, we start taking steps to investigate CRX's offer, and see if she's the kind of suzerain we could learn to get along with in the long term. It was a big offer we got, and I want to make sure we're as informed as we can get about it before we take the plunge.

Wait a minute... Is scouting Liling's fortress our only possible source of larceny actions this week? I thought at first that Suyin might count, but if she's making a ritual supplication, she's probably doing that pretty openly, so I don't think we'll actually be doing much stealthing. Huh.

It is the only openly stealth option.
There are a couple other opportunities that may be stealth missions, but we don't know for sure.
1. Li Suyin minor: She might be doing it openly, but the spiders don't have to know that we are there.
2. Storm job: Catching wind spirits is a lot easier when they don't know you're there. They don't have time to fly away.
3. Forest mission: fighting through a bunch of spirits to get to the sites is tiresome. If the spirits don't know you're there, they can't stop you!

If you're looking for a mechanical reason to hang out with Su Ling, it'll probably give boosts to the stats and skills Ling Qi uses while playing music.
That doesn't work. Remember that our damage is capped by our DV.
The net effects of an extra cultivation level in both Spiritual and Physical is a +1 auto against people in Green (and +2 autos against anyone in a different Cultivation Rank). Given that most everyone we are going to fight in the tourney should be Green, it isn't THAT much of a trump card; I'm not convinced that would be a better use of our time then e.g. getting the forest green level to another pair of arts.

With the new info on how long EPC will take and the fact that Zhengui is still not hibernating, I'm ok with holding off 8fold until around Week 34-35. We'll just do it the opposite way around - a 3x skyblood (fz, fsa, as) first.
We'll need to do a mission beforehand to secure the sect points for tutoring for 8fold - and I'm ok with doing a mission instead of Sun Liling - but I'm a bit queasy to not at least find out what Sun Liling has been up to for weeks now, especially with the Yan Renshu incident last week. If we do a mission instead, I'm likely to pick the forest shrine mission to close out the investigations mission. We sorta ... exploded the problem last time. It'd be nice to see the aftermaths and actually put the spirits to rest.
Plus, TRF could use all the help it can get if we find a wood site, and it'll probably fulfill the stealth EPC bonus.
EPC with Vent because Vent is "any," but Meizhen and GF are "Arts." AM works with Meizhen - we both have it - and TRF with GF because it makes sense to use a group art with a group.

Suyin should be done asap because the longer we wait, the longer before Suyin can start bonding with her spirit. Also, if we don't do Suyin's minor, we won't get the formation book minor back for Vault Warrior. Trying to figure out formations on the last bag so we can see if there are any major pills in it that we'll want for any upcoming weeks pre-breakthrough. Han Jian trade so we can finally figure out what meridians we need for AS.
I chose TRF and AM over FZ because both will require dedicated actions to cap it (and one doesn't benefit from 8fold) and we're getting to the point where they'll take up another meridian. I want to know what meridians we need to have opened BEFORE we do our meridian week (Highsun with meridians). I'm also hopeful that if FZ requires another meridian for FZ4, training it on a Skyblood week will give us enough overflow to open that meridian, which would save an action.
My tentative thought is Week 32 - meridian week - and Week 33 - skyblood (winds). Then hopefully we'll be set for Week 34 8fold/Skyblood.

If you are saying that you want to use skyblood without Eighfold, that's rather foolish, given than eightfold amplifies the skyblood bonus.
Ideally we want to use skyblood and eightfold together in a week with AE/AS/FSA/FZ/AM/AC
