"This isn't the kind of power sane people should seek," you say just after quoting someone who made a new lake in the blink of an eye to immediately resolve this threat. Obviously we want power, or why else are we cultivating? Being a powerless street urchin sucked.
Besides that, we know that even aside from the big thing where we're not sure to what extent human sacrifice was necessary (could animal sacrifice have gotten a good fraction of the way there, etc.) there's still that drum beat business that poisoned us for forever. We're going to be fighting these guys anyway later on so it doesn't hurt to familiarize ourselves with what they have to offer, and what better way to know the limitations and strengths of their techniques than to practice them?

As for the benevolent qm plan... No I am afraid the Meizhen action can't be attached to Zhengui. The major and the minor have to be related, otherwise it defeats the point of giving me less scenes to jam into the update.
Edit: Also, as a note, Ling Qi inviting Bai Meizhen is still stealth, as Ling Qi just wants backup. Going to Cai takes the planning partially out of your hands though, so it might not be.

Wow, this will teach me not to go to sleep right after posting a plan that I made while half delirious.
Hmm... @yrsillar are we allowed to get ZB+ for tutoring with Elder Jiao? I couldn't find a conclusive ruling on that. If we can, I may change up my plans a bit.
Other than that, Plan Mountain's 11 is in editing!
Edit: Plan Mountain's 11 is done editing. I swapped out the AC training with Elder Jiao for formations training and replaced the Han Jian minor with open Shaman bag minor.
Subsequently, I removed open heart meridian with Su Ling, and have us training AC with her instead, which gives us narratively, a good reason to talk about it with her.
All in all, I switched the premise from getting AC up and running, to "we can get AC opened, but not equipped. Might as well keep learning formations from Elder Jiao then."

I disagree. The shaman loot has already been divided. The bag is Ling Qi share, the fact that it's actually useful doesn't mean it has to be shared again. It'd be like going to Su Ling and tell her one of her share pills are shinny and We want it, fork it over...

I'm going, to be honest, I really don't want to use a Qi Sea Pill right now with only 2 qi rolls. That thing costs 25 red stones, and I would much rather save those 25 red stones for later.
Edit: It's time to learn our wind arts. The new focus of Plan "Mountain's 11" is to use the Elder's tutoring, plus the sky blood elixir to get a huge boost on ZB+'s training. Twist the use of those pills for FSA.

I probably would note that the painting looks smoldering to Ling Qi because it is a painting of a loving wife looking at her husband, with an implied come hither mood.
Hmm, I remember Zhen able to shoot embers... But napalm venom does not seem to suggest firebreath, or more importantly to our interests, propellant breath. Projectile napalm would still be interesting though.
The idea of ambush predator Zhenggui is interesting... If Gui's burrowing speed can be faster than his crawling... I wonder what else he can do with the roots...

Qi Sea basically gives us 50% more dice for Qi (since we should succeed on about 50% of our rolls). So a Qi Sea Pill for two Qi rolls basically buys us an extra Qi roll. That's totally worth 25 red stones.

If it was just one person, sure. If you offer something to 2/3 friends that's a little awkward. If you offer something to 3/4 friends, that's more awkward etc...
It's not a bribe when it's something you're seen to offer to all your friends but the one you had a recent falling out with. It's more reassurance that it's not an outright slight.
Like Arkeus said, when was it divided? We grabbed the bag so there's an argument for finders keepers but it's not impossible to imagine why someone might want to offer some of it's contents to our partner for the mission?

Our current Qi rolls are Talent 6 + Stone 30 + Vent 8 + Pills 15, so 59+7 successes, so 118 +14 success, which means ~~ 79 successes. With Qi Sea Pills, this means another 39 successes.
39 successes for Qi are well worth 25 stone, I think.
