I've added buying a bear marrow elixir to my plan if we fail the breakthrough. It's only 4 stones and adding a few successes to qi increase seems worth it.

How would people feel about me putting any possible physical overflow to qi? If we got average success on a physical cultivation roll with my plan we'd only need 3 overflow successes to get us another point of Qi.

Edit. I forgot to take the vent into account, so it would only be 2 successes.

So, huh. Benefit wise it really seems like Qi was the biggest thing by far when it comes to Foundation. Cultivation Art mastery was second, then masteries. Not counting ????, because ????.

I'm actually surprised @yrsillar actually had nothing for meridians opened... and I wonder if it will be for Physical Cultivation, as it's "opening veins", after all. We only have 9 unlocked, and 'round number' speaking maybe we should be having 10 unlocked for the biggest bonus. Let's hope it's instead 7 for numerology reasons. Is there anything numerology-wise about 9?

I would suspect having at least one meridian opened for each body part might bring something- in this case we would be lacking arms.

Oh right, 9 is a big thing about that. Makes sense. Yeah, we totally are striking the jackpot there. Much better than if we had one more. Totally.

Cultivation art did give bonus to Qi quantity though. we wouldn't have nearly as much qi with a different art

Meridians opened was taken into account by Qi quantity
 
Twelve is the next really important number. Its evenly divisible by two, four and three, and is the number of months in a year as well as number of years in the Zodiac.

If you're going to switch it out then you could at least bother to add the Silver Breakthrough question to Meizhen instead.

Same with you @Humbaba, you don't even have either of those questions (maximising/improving chance of a Silver Breakthrough and what the test for becoming an Inner Sect disciple is) in your plan.
 
Spirit idea: Nightingale

It is commonly acknowledged as a beautiful sounding night singers, though it does sing at day, but it is much easier to listen at night, when most other songbirds take a nap.

Thus, flier bird for Wind, song for... Well, FVM, and the perception that they only sing at night for Darkness.

Also, interpretations.
First one is simply getting strong enough to be able to choose what chains to be beholden by.
The second is to be strong enough, that even weighed by chains, you are still capable of flying, with some assumption about carrying said chains up.
The third and fourth barely differ, but one talks about retaliation, while the other talks about prevention.
 
Two points to a Stat or skill or two autos towards cultivation or arts. Can't level up Stat/Skills if we hadn't received XP for it in most recent update. IIRC anyways.
