In this case, of all things, she's gotten steak into strips sizzling up amidst colored Lustrian bell peppers and onions. She's also added a healthy helping of shredded lettuce, a dollop of sour cream, a mashed green mixture of vegetables who's main ingredient is another Lustrian sourced plant called an avocado, and twice-fried beans with even more tomatoes.
Lmao, is this carne asada? I can't believe that the dark elves have appropriated Mexican cuisine.

Well, I stand corrected. We really have kicked the wheels off Alyssa's cart. So good news, in that we've reached the endgame now. Bad news, the rush has led to it taking place in... less favorable territory.

And, no risking Gwen. Protecc Precious Elf Child Blorbo. Nor lay a finger on Precious Elf Tween Blorbo.

"Well, actually," you speak your thoughts aloud, "I could have Hultressa examine me. Sure, there's healing and all that, but hell the presence alone of the Everqueen and the Queen in the Woods did things…but they just sort of…," you wave through the air with your hand. "Did it. By their very nature, altering things around them with the beneficence of Isha. Everyone else just says 'something' is changed, but her? She's got centuries of experience as a fleshcrafter, as she calls it."
Frederick's soul and body are probably very, very weird to look at compared to normal people.

And it's not just because of his liver being abused with all that drinking! :V

With all the changes and whatnot that have been done to it, he'd theoretically fetch for quite the prize for anyone that wants to do rituals or magic shenanigans with cut off body parts. Imagine if he now has some weird tasting blood akin to that of an elf or dwarf if a Vampire drank from him.

Even if that worked, the vampire curse is strictly human based, obviously Freddy would never suggest that without consent.
Well. I was mostly suggesting it for the reactions. I'm actually quite disappointed that you would do away with it so casually.

On the other hand. How do we best deal with Eldyra?
I have half a mind to use her as a fake sacrifice in place of Gwen so we could get our foot in the door.
But that requires her to be in her right mind.

…Hunh.
Okay sooo…
Gwendolyn going to temple? Uhhh I think bad plan. She's already got an engagement ring from Khaine, the Bloodyhanded wants her in a bridal dress. And I'm with Hultressa that she's at least too young for that!

[X] Keep trying to talk Eldyra down, specifically in Eltharin and not Druhir, without directly combating her physically or magically.

[x] Grabbing both her arms and attempting to calm her down with eltarine

The basic argument is to talk to Eldira about Ostka and Bergman while trying to convince her to put down the broken glass bottle so she can regain her senses.

Like I said, at this point she's a bundle of trauma and instinct from torture. We touch her, she gets triggered further. Eltharin and Freddy's voice are the one thing absent from her torture sessions we have.

Aight, past the Eldrya issue, which we will undoubtedly see the end/result to in the next chapter, we still have to somehow deal with the timeline again being brought forward, and the auction being set in the temple of Khaine.

I have a thought of maybe Hultressa bringing Freddy as murder blender entertainment? Like theres no way there isnt going to be blood games going on during this event, so why not bring her best murder blender who killed the head murder hobo worshipper? but then that leads to exposing Freddy and we don't know what the other elf leadership would do seeing him out of Hultressa's own territory.
