We're all required to plant Golden Grass on our land if it's good farmland (as his is). I don't think he actually would've been outlawed if unable to do so due to death, but it would've been illegal. In reality, the rest of the clan probably would've covered it, and even if we didn't a full outlawing would be unlikely even if we didn't, but it's still good to not have to worry.

Actually that has me wondering. We currently have a group stockpile, but most of that comes from one of the ships breaking down and scavenged for supplies. However as people go out hunting, exploring and adventuring they claim material as personal possessions.
Now I do not begrudge them, they put in the effort. However, that leaves me at a loss of what I should do about Sailcloth that I am planning to turn into gambesons. Especially as I only have a supply of 20 units of material and there are many more of us than that. I also doubt I can crank them out all at once. Who gets them first?

Hmm I was also putting a minor into gambesons. Might need to rethink that at this point. That said, we do have linen production going too.

More gambesons is more good right now, I think. We need armor. Eventually we'll have other armor, but even that should ideally go on over a gambeson.

I think we've been explicitly told not to do that since all our laws are only passed down orally IC. Like...some people not knowing the law is a feature, not a bug.

I'd like to get the shapecraft rewards for faster and improved reflexes. And for the seeress rewards I'd like to get my Fylgja unlocked and get some sort of lightning capturing vessel if possible.

We should add a clause in this law so that you get a pass if you've been killed and thus physically unable to farm golden grass.

That's probably fair. We need to revise it to count maize as golden grass for legal purposes anyway, since it does the same thing.
