I think I prefer this. Or the Jotun Skin Splitter. But sjapeshifting seems harder to pick up.
 
I am conflicted. Skin-Splitter would solve a lot of irritating problems, being effectively a soft-Puncture against "Lol no" effects that just say "Put this much effort in or your attack automatic fails", but Jotun Shapeshifting would let our adorable catte fight as an actual catte at our side, or convert to the favored weapon type of a successor, which is also extremely appealing.
 
He insulted Norsemen. It is right that he should suffer at least a little. Maybe it'll make him hesitate before he speaks such words in front of someone of shorter temper.
Because there are people who'd have killed him for that. Probably some in this very town.

Shapeshifting means he can receive chinscratches and bellyrubs.

I wonder how Jotun-Skin works.

Much as I detect Rebuke conceptually, mechanically it isn't actually too relevant.

Eh, DPS isn't too important these days. Even if it applies onto Norsemen, or even 'everyone', it's just +Damage.
 
I think the shapeshifting sounds the coolest, personally. Let Sagaseeker evolve into a Familiar, and become a long running companion even with our non Atgeir wielding kids.

Finally our equivalent of a knightly hawk!

I'd be fine if the other option won, but I think it's really thematic that the weapon which pierced a Jotun's hide could do it again If pressed.

Should we stack Odr on our recruitment attempts or especially with grabbing info out of Skavidr?

I don't have a problem if Shapeshift wins, I just think him being able to repeat the act of killing Jotnar would be more useful than him being able to turn into the preferred weapon of each successor
