Lights... Camera... ACTION!!: A Hollywood Quest

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hi Magoose here one of the guys helping Duke.

So we have some bad news.

The quest has been canceled as duke does not want to write it anymore.

I'm going to ask if I can take over for it, because I like this quest, and it would be a shame to kill it
TBF, Mags, you have been doing a lot of the heavylifting for the quest, so this will be in good hands. :)

To be clear to everyone, this is just me burning out on imagination of the quest, since my muse has been hitting me over the head a lot with so many different ideas that I just can't find myself too interested in this.

I'll still hang out here, though, since this still does have a sepcial place in my heart.

I'd like to thank you all for making this a wonderful experience while it lasted.

I'd also like to thank @Magoose, @Fluffy_serpent, and @Martin Noctis for doing so much to help prepare and write this quest. I couldn't have done it without you all. :D

I'll see you all around.

With so many regards, Duke William Of.

Alright guys, what works better as an Investment for next turn:

- Irish Spite:
--[] Lucasfilm Hong Kong: Azure Dragon Campus [$100 Million]: Lucasfilm envisions expanding its presence into Hong Kong, a bustling city with a vibrant cultural landscape and a thriving film industry. The plan is to establish the Azure Dragon Campus as a state-of-the-art production hub for film, television, and digital content. The studio will feature cutting-edge facilities for pre-production, production, post-production, and visual effects, tailored to meet the unique needs of Hong Kong storytelling. By tapping into Hong Kong's diverse talent pool of actors, filmmakers, writers, and technicians, Lucasfilm aims to collaborate with local creatives and showcase the city's captivating culture through compelling content. The studio will actively contribute to the growth of Hong Kong's film industry, forging partnerships with local production companies, educational institutions, and government entities to nurture talent, drive economic growth, and position Hong Kong as a prominent global entertainment hub. Through strategic collaborations and a deep appreciation for Hong Kong's rich heritage and dynamic communities, the Lunar Mansion Campus aims to showcase the city's unique perspectives, promote cultural exchange, and create captivating narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide, while bolstering the growth and recognition of the Hong Kong film industry.
--[] Given current state of affairs with Carrie and the twins, instead of traveling to business men in Hong Kong, invite them and their representatives to negotiate these sales in LA on your dime; you also plan on having Mike and your dad there to help with negotiations. Due to his past actions, and especially for helping Mike out, you'd also like personally invite Jackie Chan to be a part of the proceedings, to have him [hopefully] be the face of Lucasfilm Unlimited in Hong Kong.
--[] Attempt to have a discrete, private conversation with Agent Jackson, where in exchange of keeping your honest workers (ie not any Red or Corpo spies) and their families safe from reprisal, you are willing to let the CIA use the Hong Kong Campus as a staging ground of sorts into Red China for their agents, as is your Patriotic Duty.

--[] Lucasfilm Puerto Rico: Vesperlight Campus [$100 Million]: Lucasfilm envisions expanding its presence into Puerto Rico, a vibrant island with a rich cultural heritage and a growing film industry. One prepares us for making Sea of Thieves (PotC) by the end of the decade, or the other sees us be hyper spiteful and prevents annexation of Hong Kong.

...Then why bother posting at all? Why waste your time typing up a sentence on a quest that you have no interest in and believe is "already bad" when you could be making a sandwich, taking a nap, or doing something productive?

[X]George H.W. Bush

Okay I admit that Bruce voting for Kemp makes perfect sense within his character and the greater context and I do like Kemp a lot. However, Bush Sr. is one of my favorite Presidents and he was just as great of a Vice President, so I'll vote for him to at least give him some representation. If Kemp wins I'm fine, though always remember that Bush 41 was a great man.

Hong kong seem beter, but not sure if the whole CIA base is realy a good idea

Do puerto Rico realy have such a great cultural background and film industry ?,with the small size of puerto rico itself the creation of this campus is probably gonna be a major deal for the local government it's potentialy usefull.

They both seem realy good, but we shouldnt forget to do the two others at some point:

"--[] Lucasfilm Europe: Emerald Campus [$75 Million]: Lucasfilm plans to expand its presence into Europe, with the best place to start in your mind is in the home country, Ireland. The Lucasfilm Europe Campus is set to be established in Galway [which, given Dublin's current urban congestion, gives the company room for expansion], serving as an office space, for production and legal, and feature state-of-the-art facilities for film production, post-production, and visual effects. By leveraging Ireland's talent pool and utilizing the country's favorable tax environment [read: tax haven], Lucasfilm aims to acquire and distribute European films and television while contributing to Ireland's entertainment industry and economic growth. The campus will foster collaboration, host industry events, and provide opportunities for local talent, positioning Ireland as a thriving hub for creative industries.

--[] Lucasfilm Japan: Sunrise Campus [$75 Million]: Lucasfilm plans to establish the Lucasfilm Japan Campus, a centralized hub for its Japanese departments and a collaborative space for employees to work together and innovate. The campus will include production facilities, such as soundstages, film studios and a legal department, and will house a subsidiary of Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) for advanced visual effects work. By fostering cultural exchange and providing a platform for Japanese directors to experiment, Lucasfilm aims to deepen its connections in the Japanese film industry and push the boundaries of storytelling. The campus will also serve as an educational center and a venue for industry events, contributing to the growth and development of the local film community."

Puerto Rico, like Ireland, isn't for a thriving film industry that will form organically like OTL, it's to A) build one up to bolster the local economy, and B) share access to a different cultural understanding of the world with the average American.

Puerto Rico is also in the Caribbean, so that takes care of shooting on location for Sea of Thieves, an American territory, that we can help forge stronger ties to America, and is primarily Spanish speaking, which will hopefully help normalize Latin American content to a majority white American public.

Sunrise is already done, and I changed Emerald Campus to Sundog Campus to keep in line with the Stellar Sky metaphors going.

I still plan on doing the later, but in all honesty I want Azure Dragon to take off before not only Jackie Chan's international career takes off but also to ward off China from Master Bruce Lee's old stomping grounds.

As the party and convention continued, you learned something that was rather… important.

"That made me a delegate?!" Mike Curb was smiling and laughing as he told you that.

"Yes." He replied as he laughed. "Last minute too, because one of the guys got sick and can't make it."

"This reeks of corruption." You stated.

"Hey, I'm not the one who makes the rules," Mike said. "So you are gonna vote right?"
Bruce just wants to make stories and be with family. But people keep dragging him out of his sets and home. :V
