How about neither? The best Use of all surviving Battleships is as defense Monitors for Earth and it colonies. Let them be a stark remainder to all hostiles what they can expect if they decide to attack humanity. (Also the moral boost of always having your heaviest Warship ever nearby to protect you is not insignificant.)

Nope. The original ship's name spite was named to embody the Royal Navy's contempt for it's enemies. They viewed every one of their enemies in war as despicable imitations of themselves
