Awesome catch. Boney, does this work for a Serenity action or no? If so, I definitely favor that over starting the AV book.
If she's getting a malus, does that mean that Egrimm will get more credit than if it were on the clock?Mathilde's contribution to it can be done as a Serenity action. You'd be asking Egrimm to write the paper in his free time instead of on the clock, which is normal for the Colleges but does mean that Mathilde will get the relevant malus for having a coauthor.

I wanted to ask, do we know if Eike's Windsight is intuitive or emotive? I wasn't quite clear on that.

Does Mathilde know how common a type that is?
I see where you're coming from; I'd always interpreted that part of Mathilde's story as her being uncomfortable in the Empire, which is why I wrote what I did, but I can see how it can be parsed differently. I don't think it's a big deal, though; worst-case scenario, Mathilde exaggerates her discomfort levels a bit in order to be #relatable with the new kid.I respectfully disagree. The former says nothing about any motivation beyond looking for her next job/goal, and the latter is not only explicitly vague and not pinning down Mathilde's motivations, but the options also don't indicate that Mathilde has any problem with the Altdorf ecosystem at all. As well it shouldn't; it's never given Mathilde any trouble.
Does Mathilde know how common a type that is?
Mainly asking because Barbitus found it basically impossible to find relevant resources on his type, so I was wondering how likely it would be to be able to find relevant material for Eike.
The dhar is dhar-shaped.Uncommon, but not nearly as so as Barbitus' visceral. The problem with Intuitive is that there's not really anything you can communicate and compare, you can't say 'Dhar looks like slime' or 'Dhar smells like rot', it just feels like Dhar.
Are books on Windsight covered under Sevir, or a different category?Uncommon, but not nearly as so as Barbitus' visceral. Write-ins scare voters off, plus this one is a kind of important vote. Well, that's my excuse at least, given it's a sunny Sunday morning for me.I am surprised there are so few distinct votes, though, as well as so few votes in general; it's been open two and a half hours and we only have 21 voters. With how popular Sofia was as a social option, I kind of assumed this would be a very contentious vote. Maybe Americans are just busy on Saturday night? I'd be unsurprised to learn that the readers of Divided Loyalties are extremely cool people with rockin' social lives.
Might be people are hesitant on how to vote on a fairly delicate social matter.I am surprised there are so few distinct votes, though, as well as so few votes in general; it's been open two and a half hours and we only have 21 voters. Gonna prove you right and say we should do windherder. I think we'll want to try again with Egrimm, which'd mean two actions doing stuff with him, which I think is good.Cue the fights over whether we want a third WEB-MAT action to be Windherder or some other artifact investigation, but honestly that's a good thing to fight about.
He could be from a family of expats. Just because that's his name doesn't mean they're of recent extraction.Hold on a moment, Maximilian's last name is de Gaynesford. He's Bretonnian. Did his parents smuggle him out so they wouldn't have to give him up?
Maybe they were immigrants? I'm sure the Empire has more than a few citizens with Bretonnian heritage, especially on the border and trade towns.Hold on a moment, Maximilian's last name is de Gaynesford. He's Bretonnian. Did his parents smuggle him out so they wouldn't have to give him up?
