Two redheads- at least where real-world genetics are involved- cannot have non-redheaded children (barring one-in-a-million-rare mutations). Like, it may not be worth poking at, but- this is far past "suspicion", this is fact: there is absolutely no non-magical possibility that Asva is legitimate.
Just rolled, got 6, 5, 4, 2. That's a 4, which means it's Wondrous now, baybee
Huzzah!
We went for all the marbles and we made a genuinely amazing heirloom. Awesome!
Oh, well, in that case (1) disregard everything I said because it only applies to double-ginger parentage, and (2) disregard everything I said because there's explicitly already weird hair color magic in play and genetics is irrelevant.Uh...I actually don't remember Asveig's hair color being discussed. The kids are all red-headed due to weird magic,

I believe I clumsily described Asva's hair something along the lines of 'dark, same as Asveig's' way back in summer 1/turn 1.
This entire sentence is an incredible understatementAnyway, that's... A thing. I imagine the 1 would have been unfortunate, while the 100 would have been... Exciting to say the least, huh?

Asva is basically Asveig writ smaller, appearance-wise at least. Now, Halla also looks quite a bit like Asveig. Got the same general body shape and the overall shape of the face is on-point, though eyes, hair, and stature are all Steinarr.
This entire sentence is an incredible understatement
Huh, let me guess, a 1 would be "The War Starts right this fucking second because a deep strike comes in to gank Corpsemaker?"
Or worse. "Ironjaw decides to crash the party."
Gosh though, I'm glad we could produce a T8 for Asva's wedding, it should be a truly princely gift.
I actually wonder if we might start getting approached for commissions after this? Sten probably takes some too, but more skilled craftsfolk never hurt anyone, especially when making a Masterwork requires such an investment in time and labor.
Most methods I know involve harboring a spirit in your mind, which isn't the easiest of tasks for a learner of only two months.
Laughter draws your gaze down the slope, to where a boy no older than five chases red-winged butterflies.
Just a minor consistency error, first he was chasing butterflies, then caught a bird. The boy giggles as his sharp-nailed hands clap together around one of the fluttering birds.
Harboring a spirit, like say, one of our ancestors? Most methods I know involve harboring a spirit in your mind, which isn't the easiest of tasks for a learner of only two months. However, there is a spell I know that should do the trick, though it won't stop it from happening in the first place."
Ah, she also has the haemopbia trait, huh?"It's fine." It's not fine, but... "Now, I can't teach you shapecrafting, but I can show you a few healing spells."
...wow."I don't really remember, to be honest," Sten scratches at his beard as you scowl. "All I remember was a flash of light, men screaming, the flapping of a wing, and then I was asleep. The next morning, Asveig was making breakfast — with honey-drizzled bacon, my favorite — and there were no signs of battle nor did I ever find the bodies. When I asked her about it, she acted like it was a dream I had... Mom isn- wasn't a very good liar, you know?"
And here is clear confirmation that he has odr.You only found out about it just a few hours ago, when Steinarr warned you to not do anything if it happens again. Your teeth grind together as that familiar fucking invisible spotlight seems to shine all over him. His mere presence is a Godsdamned fucking power play! He's stealing attention from Asva, on her special fucking day!
Hm.... A bit of bleed over? We do not have ravenfeast, after all.Why must you just let a man as arrogant as fucking Corpsemaker walk all over your father, all over your sister? Why can't you just draw Ravenfeast and carve his fucking eyes out, just like with those Godsdamned Hunnic bastards?! Why is-
.... We would have asked her on it on a critical, wouldn't we?
Aesvig awakening the strength of her own bloodline so at least one kid has black hair while funny, would show how dominant the godly bloodline is.
...wow.
She was a figurative house dragon huh?
Guess that would have been another introduction to seidr, had we learned/interacted more with mom?
Aesvig awakening the strength of her own bloodline so at least one kid has black hair while funny, would show how dominant the godly bloodline is.
And I believe in her. If what Sten said is true - and there is no reason to question that - she would have left if she wasn't happy with Steinarr.
There were three possible outcomes for that roll. 1, 2–99, and 100
1 - Something Happens
2–99 - Nothing Happens
100 - Something Happens
It's actually entirely on purpose. A stupid joke from me about the fact that medieval age people just referred to anything that could fly as a bird, if I recall correctly.Just a minor consistency error, first he was chasing butterflies, then caught a bird.
'Yes, but I'm not exactly flush with power. The little I have is good for protecting against certain emotional manipulations, which skalds certainly are fond of, but not the full spectrum... I suppose I could try to command any other spirits you end up with here, though. That never was my strong suit, but I can still attempt it.'
Not on this one, I'm afraid. It just wouldn't be fair.
Hm...

Ah!!!
Again, the "capacity is a concern" talk.
Again, the "capacity is a concern" talk.
No, it isn't.
Capacity is just the hotbar, not the total amount of stuff we can know. Just what's on top of our mind at quick notice. We just need to select the ones we will need at all times at turn start, same as shapeshifting.
