I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Yeah that's true and we're probably far enough out from the other two smelters that we could make another one if we had the actions for it.

I'd prefer to compress the Adamant Maker combo and do some Alchemy research before we make another smelter, given that we don't know how much Voidstone is out there.

Or buy the compressed Adamant Maker from the Brotherhood if one of them has already done so.
 
mmmmm, I imagine that a lot of minor brotherhoods and things start when some former apprentices are researching closely with their master and the master dies. And they just continue researching.
Yeah, which you can kinda see with both the Burudin and Brotherhood of Dron since both were founded by Durin the Lost IIRC. The difference between the Brotherhood of Dron and a group of related apprentices continuing the research of their deceased master is that the Brotherhood has reached out beyond their circle of apprentices to become larger and a bit more formal.

You are free to vote for another plan if adamant limbs is a deal breaker. For me, I think it is a fine expenditure and I voted for the plan knowing that it had adamant limbs. It wasn't hidden or concealed in any manner.

... Dude, it was literally in the plan. Not hidden at all, clearly there since the first iteration. If you can't read a vote the entire way why are you voting at all?
 
Honestly I liked all of them myself as well but I was rooting the most for Norgrim there so as I said I'm not too upset about it as it is.

By the time I was awake there was no hope of an alternate plan getting traction. I dislike the Master rune of Waking idea as well, but at least, the artistry that's going to go into the arm will probably make it as a solid T4.
And hopefully i'm mistaken about the M.Waking being useless and we get a Proc on the Movement of things and the mind of things.

I was more talking about the Exemplar not the plan itself(though I was here for said plan and do like it as well).

Don't recall that from anywhere. Azrilwutroth is less strong than Gromril by a bit, though it does take Armor Runes, and there wasn't much of significance mentioned about it.

I hain't a big fan either, but at the end of the day, there were six runes picked for this commission and the five besides waking are all cool. Plus the arm got switched to waking/limb/stone at some point and that certainly seems more coherent to me than waking/limb/valaya. The commission came out fine overall, imo
 
I'd have preferred Waking, Forged Limb, and Empowerment, but I can live with Stone on the arm quite happily.

The legs seem like a random unthematic grab bag, though, to be honest.
