Say @BoneyM might I ask what sort of actions we can expect if we do decide to slip out the King's Gate and join the assault before it hits the Gate. Also would Mathilde still take notes as she slips out the gate?

I've been reading through a few of the informational threadmarks lately and got a few questions:
Niter Factory: With dwarven help, the waste collected undergoes a series of arcane and disgusting processes to produce crystals of pure niter, of great value as a fertilizer and as an ingredient in gunpowder. These are currently sold to the dwarves of Zhufbar. +50 gc / turn.
Does anyone remember who is currently managing the factory and its income? I remember us asking Wilhelmina to do so and/or invest the profits into our debts to Stirland, but I don't remember if she actually said yes.
U / Smoke and Mirrors: The mark of a Grey Battle Wizard is the ability to weave teleportation cantrips into other spells they cast. They appear to jump around the battlefield at will, hopping anywhere within short range with every spell they cast.
Wouldn't the text of this spell presuppose the existence of Ulgu-based teleportation cantrips/spells?
U / Okkam's Mindrazor: Summons illusory weapons for an entire group of allies within medium range that shred the very consciousness of their enemies, with strength equal to their courage.
If there is a spell to equip a bunch of people with mindrazors, is there also one to equip just one dude? If not, why not?

Either of the two above spells could exist, but for some reason be kept out of the hands of your average Grey Magister of course.
Your rote memorization of a codified spell has evolved into a more personal understanding of the magics at play, bringing you a deeper insight into the Winds of Ulgu.
Would you be willing to share some examples of said deeper insights into the wind itself beyond just the ability to cast spells with bonus effects?
I'm especially curious about how indefatigable connects to Ulgu.

Yeah EIC is taking care of the factory and keeping the income in the EIC vault at our request. It's all managed by Wilhelmina as head of EIC.

What I found said was:

Which is a bit different. THis was also before Mathilde received the belt which made the multiple Winds issue less pressing.
I think that was only for ones that worked with different winds? If they're enchanted correctly, I don't see why items of the same wind would mess with each other unless their effects intersected or something.
I think you're both right. The quote I was looking for was this, which indicates it's more about overlapping effects, particularly with different winds.
The Seed works internally, the Torc projects outwardly, and your Aethyric Armour lies just atop your skin, so the three of them can just about coexist happily. There's some resultant Dhar but your belt burns it off, and even if it didn't a little Dhar is still preferable to whatever wounds your Seed would be healing. But if you, say, got your hands on an artifact that gave you the effects of Esbern's Boar's Hide spell, then it and your Aethyric Armour would intermingle constantly, and while your belt would prevent it from lasting long after it curdled into Dhar, magic that is being turned into fire is magic that is not protecting you.

Re:enchanting.
What I really want is to learn Occam's Mindrazor and somehow apply it to our revolver. Multiple shotsx3 and S8 will make it a herokiller.

Oh, and Stand-and-shoot with such a gun (it is Quick to Fire) also paints quite an epic picture (This is my BOOMstick).

Yes, and learning those cantrips is how you learn Smoke and Mirrors.

No.

Ask Okkam.

I can't actually describe what it's like for your mind, body and soul to adapt to channelling energies from the nightmare hell dimension. Mathilde probably couldn't either. Neither English nor Reikspiel possess the vocabulary for it.

I guess you could say we'd be... blowing their minds.

Why did those goblins had performance enhancing mushrooms, were they gonna compete in the chaolympics? Aiming to get the warpstone medal?

(Seriously though, despite the rolls it ended up going pretty well. The worst consequence is that the larger goblin and skaven groups will likely know in the future that someone is liable to skulk around and cause chaos; but Matheilde would have gotten caught eventually)

The dwarves are fragmenting after King's Gates, and will be spreading out until they meet too much resistance to continue or until they have the entirety of Karag Lhune. Belegar and most of Clan Angrund will be going to the Hall of the Moon, while Kragg will be going to the Armoury and the Temples. The Gates will be held by the Ulricans and Nordlanders, with fire support from the Quarrelers and Rangers.
We have already seen (and helped with) the Hall of the Moon so I'm for following Kragg to the Armoury once the gate is secure. Belegar can deal with some disorganised goblins. Kragg may be walking into something capable of killing him.

As you approach another crossroads a bloom of magical darkness fills the tunnel ahead of you and you plunge into it and turn once more, but still your pursuers remains right on your heel. What kind of Goblins are these? Do the Crooked Moon have some hidden affinity for running marathons, or are they hopped up on performance-enhancing mushrooms?
What the heck?! I guess the Crooked Moon just never, ever skip Leg Day?

Every single goblin in that pursuit was doing the T-1000 run. Don't even try to deny it. We all know it's true.

I agree with whoever said that scouting the gates won't be very useful (just skimmed pages of discussion... chatty saturday morning?). The dwarves have all that artillery we got them, they're just going to go all Castle Drakenhof on the gates and anything that looks goblin-made, and let themselves in the gaping hole afterward. It all has to be torn down to get the smell of goblin out, regardless.

So, we might as well head deeper and find any surprises that may be waiting for them.

I'll approval vote the temple. QM did mention something about Moral boosts for the dwarves, if both temples were scouted. Something something, better charge/movement if both are whole, more Vengance/hatred if they are defiled.

Thats possible yeah, but I figure at this juncture looking for an opportunity for the gates to fail RIGHT as the army reaches it would probably pay the most. Breaching a defended gate is a son of a bitch, but if the gate swings wide at the first poke...its going to be a bad day to be a goblin.

Like, I'm not sure how much a morale bonus to dwarfs tends to help, when they're one of the most stubborn units morale-wise, compared to opportunistically busting gates open or at least identifying key hardpoints that need to be taken in the gate assault.

If Reikspeil makes words by gluing other words together like German does they could probably invent the vocab. It'd just take a whole book to write each word.
