I don't recall Castell being a roll. Aside from that, forgot to do the Vianist roll, but it's all fixed now.
Huh, you're right.
[] Salvage/Recycling Teams: Shu Mai's mismanagement means that there's plenty of clean-up work to be done on the planet. Cost: 50 Reward: +25 salvage income
I assumed that this upgrade would be paired with a salvage roll, but I misread it.
Vianists: 73 (Pilgrimage triggered to low-risk location. Destination: Chandrilla)
<fist pump> Yes! Rediscovering the Tomb of the Third Barsen'thor, Grand Warden of the Jedi Order, could be big, especially if it contains any records from the Cold War era (3653-3642 BBY). This might pair nicely with our efforts to reform the Jedi, and our work with both the Tython and Corellian Jedi sects.

As for the Ord Mantell event:
Ord Mantell: ... childhood home of Mawkran (Savrip freedom fighter, killed 37 BBY); home of Taxer Sundown ('Jedi' crime lord, died 37 BBY), Mama (Columi smuggler) and Weeffil Liff (merchant)
There are a few interesting characters here, most notably 'Mama', a smuggler and information broker.

- Scraplands: massive hemispheric junkyard, home of salvagers (Jawas et al.), site of Junkheap (processing station) and Rusty Reach (reclamation plant)
It's a junkyard the size of an entire hemisphere -- half the planet is covered in this stuff -- which means there is probably a lot of random Old Republic tech to be found.

- Ten Miles Plateau: near Scraplands, site of abandoned stellar-energy station (former home of Taxer Sundown, land baron/crime lord, died 37 BBY)
'Taxer Sundown' was a petty crook/crime lord who pretended to be a Jedi, employing a bunch of lightsaber-wielding security guards that he controlled with a mind-control device. He was caught and killed by Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, but his headquarters on the Ten Miles Plateau should still be standing. Given that it collects solar energy, we might find it useful for all kinds of things (like an energy source to lower the upkeep on a Planetary Shield).

Worlport: continent-sized capital city, tourism & commercial center, site of ... Jedi ExplorCorps outpost
Ord Mantell is also an 'ORD' planet, so we might encounter some of the Jedi Aces and ExplorCorps members there.

Man, if we found the Heart of the Guardian in addition to already having the Mantle of the Force...

Either Ciaran needs to bug Asajj to teach her to use two blades, or to bug Asajj into using that crystal for MOAR SYNERGY.

Oh it's going to change quite a few things, but I meant that it's not like an over 150 and all of Honoghr starts worshipping Ciaran or something.
Just out of curiosity, @Dr. Snark, what was the baseline Chance of Success for the actions on Honoghr, and the confrontation with Mother Talzin, and Thrawn's study of Admiral Trench? If we hadn't rerolled the Honoghr action, would we have risked a failure (or perhaps a 'bare success')?

Here's a vote tally for everyone. Honoghr is (was) the run-away winner, but Quinlan Vos has extended his lead for the second reroll.

Yularen Subversion: 43 + 20 + 5 = 68 (Nothing exciting here. Man did his job.)

Ord Mantell: 91 (Event!)
Dantooine 2: 57 (God you guys, get it together...)

Yavin 2: 95 (Event!)

1 district in Coruscant Undercity taken over.

Asajj and Ciaran pass Force Bond checks!
Asajj learns Blazing Chains (Basic)!
Ciaran learns Nightsister Techniques!

1) Obi-Wan: And why are you so sure I'll accept to be a part of your little conspiracy without telling the Council.
Ciaran: Your men already agreed.
Obi-Wan: *Facepalm*
2) Now labelled under 'morale boosting material'.
3) Uncovered a secret stash of Old Republic/Sith Empire equipment for the CNS.
4) Operatives got distracted.
5 + 6) Too many opportunities for our Abysswalkers to get involved.
7) I admit I have no idea what will happen.
8) A Chiss novelty perhaps.
9) We are very polite at taking control.
10) Yes.
11) I wanted her to learn Telepathy (if only so Asajj and Ciaran could talk privately to each other), but this works too.
12) Crazy Dark Side Space Voodoo.

Rolled: 32 + 20 + 20 + 44 = 116

And now Thrawn has Rukh... not the Rukh, but a Rukh.

Edit: and before I forget:

[X] Reroll Vos

I actually suggested and offered to do that over a year or more ago. Response was that I got to make ONE single roll for Palps several months later.

Yeah...sorry about phasing you out but I kinda realized that I need to have Palpatine actually doing things no matter what to impose a challenge.

I do still have Palapatine doing things though - remember the whole Sabaoth thing and how they were going to try and pirate Neutral space before they got caught cause of Shatterpointing? Stuff like that. He's got plans, you just might end them before they can really get off the ground...or you might not know what they are yet.

Plus I feel like the whole "oh by the way, one of the Separatists' best admirals has gone MIA with a large fleet and is probably going to bomb some CNS planet into submission" hasn't really sunk in yet - or more accurately people are writing it off because of the Thrawn roll. That uh...well you'll see how that's going to play out.

I'm going to point out the exceedingly obvious and mention that given a bonus of 44, 20 & 20 the only way to fail an unopposed DC90 is by rolling a five or below.

Which while fitting for some actions at the Watcher's ability does not make a large amount of sense in other cases.

Truth be told this is probably what happens 40-50% percent of the time. Don't underestimate how powerful Ciaran's unpredictability is or how she's been managing to hide the full extent of her organization and abilities.
Please say that you've been documenting how often she's been pulling the blanket over people's heads.

Naw, not really. Personally I am hoping the CNS is pushed back a bit by the planet-killer and whatever the followup plan is.

3-way civil war is the way to go!
