I've scrapped my vote for the Connie-C. The rest stays. If we get unlucky, we'll just have to deal.

I'm okay with the Amarki and KP, if they're telling us they need the ships then we should give them what they want. Same for Tauni and Yrillia. Having a Connie should help both governments. The OSA is fine. Vermilions is rather expensive... but they do need the ships. For the Orions, unfortunately we are horrifically short on crew but since it comes from the federal crew it should be okay. That's a total of 9/10 distributed.
I'm not that keen on spending 15pp for cargo Connies and a smattering of stuff we don't need. House Rithe is no, THE LICORI ARE NOT AFFILIATES. The SEES ship is pure trade RP for PP, with a likely RP shortage from this vote we can't really do it.

Do not trust Gaeni ships as something for newbies to space to learn from. Even with Starfleet stripping out the explody warp core, I don't want the Vermillion to learn the wrong lessons about spaceship design and operation from these hulls!

I would strongly encourage us NOT to spend more than 300 here. If the 200rp option weren't so crucial, I'd suggest to spend less than 200. What you're doing is selling next year's MWCD and the research vote that comes after that.
I would really rather not gamble with our research. Also don't forget that we'll be spending hundreds of RP next MWCD, and spending more than 300 is basically proposing to erase our entire buffer in one go.

Yeah, she's still going to be generally connie sized, just outfitted in a one off hull that's build around her remaining parts.
That's why the RP cost is so high, because it's a one time unique ship design protect that has as much in common with surgery and prosthesis replacements.
But you'll also get that paid back over time as a research colony because it's such a unique project that's never been done before.

In the end, Vermillions will not suffer even with obsolete ships - but 10 rp is rather affordable, and will mean that frigates are not scarped. Since we are not scraping our Connie-Bs, we might have a chance to give Vermillions one next year.
Maiden of Dawn paying for herself is a nice cherry on top. Though, that does raise a question - @GMs, will the building of a new cruiser go through this year if we will not help with it? Because if it will, we really want make sure it goes correctly.

In the end, Vermillions will not suffer even with obsolete ships - but 10 rp is rather affordable, and will mean that frigates are not scarped. Since we are not scraping our Connie-Bs, we might have a chance to give Vermillions one next year.
Maiden of Dawn paying for herself is a nice cherry on top. Though, that does raise a question - @GMs, will the building of a new cruiser go through this year if we will not help with it? Because if it will, we really want make sure it goes correctly.

New intel from discord: Iron wolf says the relief aid project and Apiata connies will probably come up again, but the Maiden of Dawn and the Vermillion tech frigate thing likely will not. Also says to take this with a grain of salt, because he wasn't involved in this post.
We can't pass up the Maiden of Dawn. We may never get another chance, and the project will even pay for itself eventually.
The relief project feels obligatory right now narratively, but will likely not go anywhere. I really wish we could spread it out over a couple years or something. I'm leaving it in my vote in the absence of such an option.
