This one is easy. We look at how Home's bonuses grew, where the bonus broadens in nature, and expands in range with our domain.
So the range is almost certainly going up as we advance. The other growth points are:
-Breadth: Perception is a base, and a reasonable extension would be to include Investigation, Empathy and possibly Larceny/Survival/Socialize at a stretch.
-Frequency: Once per combat/scene can become once per roll, though that's quite powerful and likely comes later.
-Intensity: It can certainly add a static dice bonus later on as well, especially once it runs out of valid skills to expand into.
Here, Argent Mirror is focused on How To Help People See. This is thematically things like the Xiulan scene this update. This is the mirror in the great hall of the home, to help our guests see where they cannot, through the mist and fog we cast.
In terms of practical utility, the sensory enhancements would likely let us eventually have our friends pass through our mist and fog arts unhindered, because they can see clearly so long as they hold our friendship.

Upgrade wise, its likely to broaden the definition to penetrating other forms of deception, and to see through the illusion of existence eventually. Not much to say about it, bigger dice, broader applicability.
This one is a little more esoteric. It focuses on discerning lies and seeing through illusions, even as our build with FVM and PLR creates more lies and illusions. So here, Argent Mirror is the Eye of the Storm. Everything whirling about in chaos and deceit, but the home in the center is steadfast and untouched.

Slot limitation argument aside(seeing as its a high quality art, and arts of good quality slotted in will develop well regardless), perhaps we don't want to make truth and understanding integral, and prefers to extend the illusions we wield to our very nature and self.
Certainly internalizing Argent Mirror could impede such a path, though it'd only be crippling if we seek to lose ourselves upon it like Xiulan is looking to lose herself upon the path of lightning.
Not really my thing, seeing as I've been in favor of making Argent Mirror a Domain Art to begin with, as I liked the themes, but I can see where the path of illusions might appeal.
