Forge of Destiny(Xianxia Quest)

It did influence the inclusion. I'm the sort of Blue/black milling scumbag who likes that kind of thing :p
The kind of bastard to use the suboptimal strategy, just so that when it does work...
I mean stick it on a Scute Mob and you have something nasty I'd think.
Scute Mob isn't all that special. Just a big beatstick with a condition, and it doesn't have any synergy with Trepanation Blade besides being something to carry it.
That card looks pretty OP.
It's five mana, since you have to equip it, and it's a variable effect. Averages out around +4/+0, I think? But without evasion, it's quite worthless. Angelic Destiny is four mana, gives evasion, and makes the creature survive more combat—though it's colored, so of course it's stronger than the colorless equipment—but that's the benchmark for being a strong creature-enhancement.

[X] Sharp Note/Yue Shi(to be decided if selected)

Trepanation Blade--and thus Singing Mist Blade--looks stupid as hell so I can't vote for it no matter how much better it is. I wish people had made better physical descriptions in general, actually. Basically the only point on where they differ is the base shape.

We don't have the stealth to win with a good enough percentage, so the bonus damage is a lot less effective. Potentially devastating, but it has a counterplay, and long-term with Singing Mist we'll likely pick up a sp.atk based finisher.

We should pick up stealth next year regardless, even moderate investment has tremendous utility in and out of combat.

6 dex + 6 stealth + 1 specialty + 2 mists +6 gear + +2 equiv (ashfall) + 5 equiv (2 auto scs) = 28
+3 if diap hits, and +3 ows if we want it, plus stat gear and art improvements

But also key: this isn't a clash vs defenses, this is a perception roll. They aren't likely to have many bonuses and no instant to boost perception. If someone brings their tracking arts to an open tournament that's probably a good thing. I would find it hard to believe if anyone had more than 7+7+10 or so, and even that would be extreme.

Night Blooming Lotus Blade and Night's Edge are quite similiar, one depend on high stealth second on high initiative.
Long term I feel that Night's Edge are safer bet, stealth is thing we use frequently and we are likely going to invest further. our high innitiative is side effect from our arts. Also stealthy flying blade give us interesting tactical options.

Other swords don't have attack bonus which make them risky in my opinion.

Singing Mist Blade is exception because it attack spiritual defences plus it give bonus to our expression arts.
This have close second place for me.

For now i'm voting for Night's Edge, I would like to read about us nailing some people with it in tournament (Huang Da, Kang Zihao).

For god's sake, isn't vote consolidation a thing on this?

Edit: There we go.
