I like it for multiple reasons. Partially because Xiulan says she's lonely last update, and we end up spending some time with her with Sixiang, which makes me happy. Partially because we don't invite Sixiang to Zeqing's mountain without any warning.
If we got to know them better/could trust them not to insult Zeqing somehow/actually asked Zeqing about inviting someone beforehand, I'd consider it. As it is, this could even be attached to Meizhen training more coherently. That at least could just be written off narratively as them hanging around and giving advice about PLR and needling Meizhen while we're training. Way easier to work into a scene and less likely to conflict/dilute where yrs wants to take the Zeqing path we're currently plodding down.
Meizhen isn't likely to enjoy the addition of Sixiang to their training, but it has way less chance of coming across as insulting or setting a SL on fire right before mom comes and the salt war on Cai.

The other thing is that if we start really hitting the missions hard we could actually run out of 25/30 point ones before yrsillar refreshes that batch.
Yrsillar's probably going to be refreshing them soon, so grabbing the 25 point ones from this batch before that happens might not be a bad idea...

Worth noting, while our buffs do not affect domain weapon's attack pool, our DE-buffs target the enemy's defense pool, so our domain weapon still benefits from them.

A nice illustration of status games in action. What things are like when we're not with people we can afford our usual casualness with.
Twenty Five defense dice, 29 when activating a second technique, 26 without activation bonus. And he's Green II.
It's been said before but Ling Qi is a dodge-tank; our defense pool is much better than average for our rank.
I think I'm going to wait for more input from @SynchronizedWritersBlock , I disagree with him on goals a lot, but he has a good sense of the constraints we're operating under.
While I don't think we're in danger of not making the top 8 if we don't optimize, I'd still rather avoid own-goals like spending a bunch of turns cultivating an art that we don't level up before the tournament.

I mean, you quoted a passage where Meizhen noted that our defense was adequate. A Bai, whose whole scheme seems to be "we are untouchable, now tremble in fear." I think it has been noted that Meizhen has some of the highest defense around in the Sect. If our defense is adequate to her standards, then they are probably stellar compared to the majority of the sect.
I don't think that we have to answer Cai this week (but we probably should the week after).
I would like to consult with our mother before that if possible (she arrives this week, or am I wrong?).
Additionally, the Cai ultimatum will likely include the Fu Xiang subvote, and we should secure YR info before that (actually, shouldn't we have received the report this week?).
I really prefer @Vanguard_D plan to other plans, other than Cai minor, which is sadly a deal-breaker for me.

There aren't any own goals as long as you understand that starting TRF means committing 6-7 weeks (plus 2 for SLP) out of our 10 weeks to training it every week. One PLR training action is fine, so long as this is the last PLR training action we do (PLR is optimally trained using mission successes). The single AE action in one of the plans is not optimal as it is technically possible to hit AE3 in a single action (on a SLP week with 10-dice darkness pills and tutoring), but that doesn't particularly matter if you want to continue to AE4 anyway. If you don't, then perhaps it costs a single action wasted.
The other thing at issue this week is whether we should do a mission or not. If we don't do a sect mission this week, we should forget about an archive art entirely as the action gymnastics to get it without sect points this week would be prohibitive. Whether we want an archive art depends a lot on a bunch of fiddly combat math and also personal taste, but our best chance at taking down the monsters is to invest in a synergistic archive art: either spiritual offense support, or combat stealth. Our existing art suite is decent but very broad. It doesn't build the dice bonuses we need to take on Appraisal greens who can afford to tune arts and gear against us. It would be fine for the tier below that.
I feel that's what at's issue this week: which arts do we want to commit to, and do we want to leave things open for an archive art or not?

Likewise, we are going to have to cut things unless we go on full cultivation steam mode... as such, I think I will do something that's really not popular, and push for a closed door cultivation week. I don't think it will succeed, but I really think that every single actions we can scrounge gives us better odds to get that one more goal without ending up in a situation where we notice we are in a dead end.

This plan should hopefully let us get Lost and Found before the sect job resets (we know that Dragon was going to disappear after last week), and it should fit very well with our also going hidden moon as our patron thematically.
We don't really know how much stealth Patron quest will give, either, so it might not be a 'lost' choice for EPC XP. It might, though.

@PrimalShadow it's confirmed that PLR doesn't work with music pills, and FSS doesn't have a music meridian either, so it shouldn't. As such, I took those out of the plan.

I agree, though I feel we should be prioritizing anyway. There's no way all of our arts contribute equally to our success, especially in the short term. Tradeoffs are what min-maxing is all about.
Worth noting, successor arts do not need new meridians until later, they can piggyback off the original art. We didn't need a meridian for FZ until FZ3. And unless FSA+ is a significantly higher level art than FSS, we can learn a level in a single action, the same action we get it from the archive with. There's no need to get it to level 3 for it to be useful, it strengthens our existing foundation immediately.
If I were to pick three minors, I wouldn't count Sixiang among them. Perhaps you could change Sixiang to attaching Suyin's formations action to the white room? Since we don't actually get any description out of the white room major it's eminently attachable for a full minor action even if Suyin is not directly involved.

I think I'll go nap, but if people want those I'll add them. Adding at least a couple Dragon Endurance and 1 Bountiful Earth is probably worth it, I think.

I do like the idea of Sixiang meeting Xiulan though.
I see your Ashen Shadow Art plug and raise you Rippling Lake Art, which is explicitly an art to support other spiritual offense, is water/yin so helps black pool and SLP and qualifies for EPC, archive 1, and takes meridians we already have open.ASA is spiritual offense, and as a level 1 art doesn't require points to acquire.
