Forge of Destiny(Xianxia Quest)

@yrsillar Is the absence of a sub-vote, and arts being plural for the Zeqing action meant to imply it'll train both the arts she has tutored Qi in? That is to say will it train both FVM, and FSS, or are the aforementioned points formatting errors?

Didn't Zeqing ask us to train this with her so it would encourage Hanyi to develop her Arts?
"I appreciate your studiousness," Zeqing replied, giving her a considering look. "Ling Qi, I would like Hanyi to join us."

Ling Qi's eyebrows rose in surprise. "Really? I don't exactly mind," too much. "Won't she, well…" she looked away, not wanting to be rude.

"Hanyi has trouble focusing on her studies," Zeqing admitted. "It is my hope that witnessing a human surpassing her at our natural abilities might bring greater focus to her efforts."
It doesn't say which arts, just a general group lesson.

By the way, why Lost and Found instead of Tournament Preparation? Both should require stealth right? And Tournament Preparation gives more points and might give some info about the tournament.

I like Efficient Music.

Does anyone else have 2 Omake points?

If there's anyone else I'll throw my 2 at EPC if it will get us the bennies of it for next turn, not sure how the timing works.

I kinda feel like we want to finish it normally, honestly. There is usually some narrative when we do; having it happen between updates strikes me as a bit off.

Not gonna tell you how to spend your bonus points, though; if you don't agree with me here, that is fine too.

[X] Plan Sneaking Terror
-[X] Grinning Moon Bonus -> Eight Phase Ceremony
-[X] Argent Vent Bonus -> Argent Storm
-[X] Overflow -> Spiritual
-[X] Use 2 virtual and 2 real YSS, Heavy Rains Pill, 5 dice of music bonuses, 10 dice of darkness bonuses, 10 dice of water bonuses (total cost: 20 + 15 + 15 + 40 + 30 = 120 RSS)

-[X] (MAJOR) The Shambling Terror
--[X] (attached minor) Zhengui's efforts are coming along well, but Gu Tai mentioned that he might be able to help, take him up on it

-[X] Train Music arts with Zeqing
--[X] (MAJOR) Forgotten Vale Melody

-[X] Train at the vent with Su Ling
--[X] (MAJOR) Sable Crescent Step
--[X] (attached minor) You and Suyin could continue working on the pale manual formations, perhaps you could ask Xuan Shi for a tip or two?

-[X] (MAJOR) Attempt to placate the Dragon of the Valley

-[X] Cultivate in the White Room With Xiulan
--[X] (MAJOR) Open Leg Meridian

-[X] (minor) Take Cai up on the implicit offer, have a chat about tea or... sword techniques, or something less serious
-[X] (minor) Invite Meizhen out shopping, you could use some advice for what to look for in flying swords
-[X] (minor) You… should probably look into what Sixiang is actually doing. The spirit did follow you home.

I have chosen the Shambling Terror mission for several reasons. I expect plenty of stealth successes just like our previous ventures into potentially hostile forests but I also think this is a more interesting way to interact with Gu Tai. Since the terror is threatening outlying farms rather than the core mountain there should be no rules against him being there. If, as some speculated, this is related to the Gargant in the pale manual or a leftover from the cloud tribe necromancer we want to deal with this.

I am training SCS because, lacking a tutor, we need to get started on this as soon as possible because we can't rush it very well and because I feel like training a stealth art in the same turn we take a mission might bias us a little towards taking a sneaky approach, making it just a little more likely we get those last few successes.

I'm studying the pale manual, both because the Terror might be related and for the Xuan Shi time. Also formations. I expect that we would start studying at the vent and then find Xuan Shi when we realize we need help, but if yrsillar says this isn't a valid attachment I'll change it.

I'm taking the Cai action because we've put in the work to finally get to know her personally, which was the big cost of the Cai route. Might as well see what there is to see so we can make an informed decision.

I'm considering holding off on some of the pills because we don't know what a flying sword is going to cost and GSS are going to be expensive, just to name a few expenses. Thoughts?

SCS benefits more from flat bonuses like EPC gives same like what we would get from a virtual stone, so it is more efficient per action to train something else for now while we don't have the bonus.

Generally the rule is that we're supposed to use the points before we know what the outcome of the roll is, otherwise it encourages us to game the system pretty heavily.

We did do it once before to level up SCS I believe arounf week 17, and it was kind of dodgy.
