Ok, I was pretty disinterested in the Cai route until now, but between the stuff with GAI FLEXINGTON and Cai's admittance of her feelings towards her mother, I'm all for it now.

Just one last test for me to fully decide...

How will she react to this will be what really sets me for or against her, I think.

Before, I was really leaning towards the Sect or being Bai's ninja meido but Cai's just shown herself to be not so bad. Either way that this goes, I can roll with it.
 
People want to tell miss justice about Ling Qi and Fu Xiang engaging in a criminal offence.

Showing CRX that she cant trust Ling Qi with a secret, Fu Xiang is someone Ling Qi feels gratitude to, and setting Ling Qi up for punishment... Well I guess that is one way to sink the CRX route and the inner sect.
 
I see the benefits of both routes here. but as someone who wants us to join the Sect, i dont really care too much which way we go.

Ling just talked about how trust should be extended, she specifically said that friendship relies on trust.

Extend Cai Renxiang the same courtesy she extended to Ling Qi.

Hey that just means the Sect and Gu route have one less bit of competition moving forward, you know?

Tbh I'm still hung up a bit on the Sect but I'm also willing to go for Cai's Route. I'll caution people to know that while this is a great show of trust, it's also an expressively big show. She's admitting to a lot but we didn't necessarily ask for a big admission anyway.

The burden of responding to her is now on us.

Yeah, if she reacts badly, oh well. If she does not, supporting her is something I want even if tho other two routes are pretty seductive.

She would have to alienate a large number of her allies to do so, and the fact that Ling Qin did it as a favor to Cai herself (or at least her agent) would make any attempts to proclaim that imprisonment as a form of justice questionable at best.

Hmm, I don't think I'll vote for following Cai, but the market bothered us. Lets be true to ourselves.

Friends don't lie to friends about this stuff especially after using the trust argument. I think Cai will understand and it will probably help us become closer without Ling Qi always feeling guilty.
