Um they are still kids and kids don't usually have high stats you know? and why would a administrator be Needed?

The only mention on the stat sheet for immaturity is Gwen's -4 martial. I'm not under the impression that passive stat growth is a thing for them.

As for why we might need someone to be the full time king/queen of griffonia as opposed to being king/Queen and emporer/empress in one: well firstly they're two different jobs, secondly both are going to get more complex as time goes on, thirdly it's not good to focus all your training on the primary heir because that not only breeds resentment but also means you're left with weak candidates should something happen, however training them well means you have multiple qualified individuals in need of employment so having the government of the capital province be separate gives them something time consuming to deal with, this also takes pressure off the imperial crown so they can focus on the overall big picture.

If it was seen as a problem we would have been notified already we have very talented people employed and skilled and educated people running the branches of the government and they have proposed we do stuff before it could become a problem at all.....

We are the emporer, long term planning and looking ahead for this sort of issue is what we here for. Half this thread is dedicated to such speculations and proposals.

I'm really starting to think we should maybe start putting more effort into Piety actions, getting the Neighponese Shrines built to shove the changelings false religion firmly into last place and also honor one of our biggest allies, expand the crystal heart energy, start getting more tangible bonuses from the other religions that currently have none.

I'd focus on the others for now, crystal heart has a big lead, and I'd rather get the others into balance while we work towards dealing with Phalanx.

And a lot of other stuff that we never thought gets put up as well and we do it do quickly and I believe the characters in the quest to be smart enough to think before hand or we would have been dead a long time ago already....

That doesn't mean we ignore potential issues, by that logic we'd never do anything but post pure votes without discussion.
I am saying the characters have their own agency and can do stuff without us. and specifically the main guy has survive discords apocalypse, reuniting his people's lands, survived a ancient evil being attacking his Nation and has a wife that was a famous mercenary that went through that stuff as well. they are not dumb they know they will not live forever I can imagine they have a few plans for when they do.

Obviously they have plans, we raised them, the kids ARE THE PLAN! My concern is that plans b-d are In need of some work.

We were a King, but after we brought the other kingdoms under our rule we became an Emperor.
We hold the title of Emperor of Gryphus as our primary, but we did not abdicate our position as King of Griffonia. This is why earlier I suggested abdicating the title of King to Gawain, allowing him to administrate Griffonia while we continued as Emperor until we decided to fully retire.

Speculation, i am thinking since we only have 2 places to look for, i would think only 2, unless we unlock more places to later
2 known landmass of continent size.
Not even factoring in islands, moving floating hidden or otherwise.
Undersea nations.
Spirits, moon civilizations, pocket dimensions.
Discord blew through here.

Best to just always assume there's more than what you know about.

Agreed, we already put a lot of work into making our heirs competent enough to handle running the empire and with a dragon as our designated regent we've already got the benefits of a near-immortal leader without any of the downsides.
I love the idea of a succession crisis being solved by a dragon hundreds of years old coming in and telling people to sit down. The true benefit of having a dragon in the royal line.
