.... Is it bad I could tottally see some paraniod changeling seeing something similar in the aftermath of our spies pulling off something crazy again and having not a single member of the hive believe them?

Like have him just start seeing Griffons in Disguise everywhere....

I just imagine a Griffon doing Shang Tsung's fight intro from MK11, but instead of magic they just remove a really complex costume which freaks out the Changeling they are approaching.

Hmmmm, I wonder if Sirens are a potentially encounterable race?

Bad rolls could have them all be ruled by a very certain trio who seek to conquer

Good roll could have them be helpful culture who put a lot of emphasis on song, music, speech, and sound in general. Possibly being very good guides through dangerous waters.... (Bad roll could also be disguised as this with them brainwashing visitors to become sleeper agents)

I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibilities. We got a ton of potential races to run into (Buffalo, Abyssians, Harpies, Centaurs, etc.), so running across Sirens is also likely.

Concerning Sirens would that be the in this universe the name of the race or just the trio. Example the race is called merponis and their rulers the Sirens if they even exist in this setting

Heck, depending on whether Starswirl and Celestia had/will have their fallout, even *Humans* would be a possible encounterable species in the future thanks to that weird mirror of his.

Well, Merponies were created via Hippogriff magic and a super powerful magical artifact possibly on par with the crystal heart.

Also Sirens and Merponies are very different physically

Note the thin fins, the wing like projections along the back, the crest being far more thin on the head, and the lack of hooves (they have fins instead)

Note the thicker fins, the thicker crest atop the head, the webbing between hoof and leg, the thicker scales, the carnivorous teeth, the hooves rather than fins, the differently patterned underbelly and neck, and the diamond shaped pupils

Have been re-reading the quest and stumbled over this comment directly preceeding us being approached by the Canterburians:

Guys... mosquitos reproduce in still bodies of water. Lakes. Mosquitos are bugs. Like changelings. The Lady is likely their Queen.

<A Hive Queen has appeared!>

...I have no words for how spot-on that turned out to be - it´s almost comical in its accidential accuracy.

yeah, we called out changelings since the (dis)appearance of Lady Nightingale and the escape of Brochard's spymaster.

...You know, I'm now wondering: can you imagine Phalanx believing Garrick (or Hardbeak) to be changelings? After all we have a cult as well, the love of all our people, elite knight orders...

Damn, we'd make a better changeling than the changeling queen :V
