Eh, I doubt Garrick will get a cult dedicated to him in all honesty, but I do think the office of Emperor is going to become thoroughly intertwined with our people's faith. Given how much having said office filled has had such a positive impact on Griffons in general. And if they're already practicing ancestor veneration that implies a emphasis on tradition and the past, which the throne is also associated with.

Yeah, my guess is that it's not so much that he is a god rather a holy figure, not a prophet but a leader, an honourable and venerated ancestor to all Griffons.
