Surprised, no ones asking if the new black stone metal would be good as arrowheads for the ballistas. Bonus point if it turns out that stuff is anti-magic, or at least, a magic dampener.

I think its because we cant mine much of the stuff despite having a lot of it. Thus, using it for projectiles is kind of a waste

while I personally would rather see Captain Kaboom preparing Sombras DOOM instead of the Yak option, I agree with not going into debt. And waiting for Sombra to attack again to break his army sounds way more appealing with these nifty neiponese Firemages (that sombra doesnt know about) to counter his magic siege attacks with.

That said @Questor please put my bonus onto Yakity Yak, may only be a +10 but I would like this to not go wrong.

Total Expenditure: 3500
End Turn Treasury: 1330

Focused on immediate military and economic buildup in prep for an invasion next turn. Unless we come up with a way to stop the endless winter thing soon, I think turtling right now is a bad idea. Sombra can just wait us out while we freeze/starve to death and then hit us when we're weak.

Thanks he went to sleep so he wasn't going to post the vote at least until some time in the morning.

Also why not

While I don't agree with the "debt? NEVER!" Mentality (I'm more for "not twice in a row" right now), there are few differences from mine and I can live with these.

Yakity yak would help us understand the yak's situation, and IF we want to take the archive option this is probably the best moment (though I'd still prefer an extra overtime)

After a little research, it seems that I'm wrong about the range (Although I can not find the range of weapons before the French Revolution and I do not know how advanced are our cannons, so I can not say it with precision)

In any case, the ballistae are much easier to transport than the cannons (in case we want to face Sombra in his territory). Wait, now that I think about it...

@Questor, the storm will affect the wood of the ballistae or the function of the cannons in case we decide to face Sombra in his territory?

I am a bit worried about accidentially pissing off the Yaks, but not having a Wall worries me more.

[X] Plan: Cost-Effective Invasion Prep

*sigh*
The overwhelming votes sadden me.

Why we are trying to build a defensive bulwark to kill as much of Sombra's forces. Attacking any time soon is not only a deadly idea it is also an unnecessary one. We have time to rebuild and expand our forces we don't need to do all the weapons at once when we can spread them out over time.

We also spent a long time discussing choices that are plain for everyone to see.
